Caila
Ben says that he thinks he has the deepest relationship with Caila of all the girls. He thinks she will make a great wife.
They take a rafting ride down a river. And could there be any more silence? She talked about where her room was. They talked about the most generic topics. Not a whole lot going on here. She was surprised that she was so anxious. Ben can tell that she isn't herself because she's very quiet and reserved. He asked if she was excited and she said yes, but he knew she was holding something back and that something was going on.
She said she thinks that she is overthinking being anxious. She is worried that he will pull away because he feels her pulling away. He told her that they've gotten to know each other well enough that if she gets anxious, she should tell him and he can try to help her through it.
She still hasn't told him that she loves him, but she's hoping that at the end of the night, that she'll be ready and it will be the right time.
She told Ben that she was happy that he noticed that she wasn't herself and calling her out on it. At the last Rose Ceremony she realized that 2 other people are probably falling in love with him. All of her previous relationships she's had doubts and it didn't feel right. Being with him is different and it just feels right. She said she's wanted to tell him for a long time that she was in love with him.
That was exactly what Ben was waiting to hear from her. She said he didn't have to say anything, she could just tell how he felt. They kissed and there were fireworks! Literally. And they were kind of out of control.
Lauren
Lauren, like Caila, is really hoping to tell him how she feels. Ben feels like his feelings grow everytime he's with her.
This date started out on a different type of boat than what he and Caila rode on. They pull up onto a beach, where a guy named Mel tells them that they are going to help a next of baby turtles make it to the ocean. I've always wanted to do that! Look how cute they are! It was so cute, Ben said a little prayer for them before dumping the bucket and setting them on their way.
Ben shared with Lauren that he started crying when his sister asked him why him, out of all the guys who could be with Lauren. He said she feels like he's too good for her. She said she feels like he's too good for her. And what's better than fireworks? A double rainbow over them while they're kissing in the ocean. Pretty perfect.
All day, she's been thinking about telling him that she loves him. She's hoping that when it comes time for the fantasy suite that she will be able to tell him exactly how she feels. She feels like she's been holding back for so long.
She tells him that she feels good about things, but she doesn't know where he stands with the other girls. She is invested in this, and if she wasn't, she wouldn't have invited him to meet her family. This week has been a struggle for her, but it's very real for her. She said he's the man of her dreams, but she's freaking out and she can't just come out and say "I love you". She came just about as close to saying it as you can get..without actually saying it.
Ben said he's head over heels for her and he's dying to know exactly how she feels about him. She tells him that she's been meaning to tell him something and she's felt it for a long time. She finally said that she was completely in love with him. He makes her feel a way that she never knew she could. He said talking to her family he knows she isn't quick to jump into things. And could this be a Bachelor first? He said that he's known that he's been in love with her for quite some time.
And I lost count how many times each of them said "I love you"...definitely a record-breaking number.
JoJo
She wants to know more about what her brothers said to him and figure out what impact that will have on their relationship.
They take a helicopter ride over the ocean. How cool...there were horses running through the water! Then they go to a really pretty waterfall kind of in the jungle.
She said it's hard for her to say "I love you" because she's scared. She said she's not just falling in love any more. She couldn't believe that she just said it out loud. She doesn't want to think about ever losing him. And shocker...he says he loves her too! Another Bachelor first! Not only did he tell one girl he loves her, he has told 2 girls...and it's not even the final dates...this is just the Overnights! Crazy! JoJo wa beyond shocked when he said that. She did a double take and I thought she might pas out! She thought the only time she would get any validation of his feelings would be on the final day.
Ben is now flashing back to also telling Lauren that he loves her. He's scared and he doesn't know what he's going to do. Well, I think it's pretty obvious. You just told 2 girls you love them and you didn't say the same to Caila. JoJo does win some points for saying it earlier than the other 2 girls.
JoJo feels so much more secure knowing that Ben feels the same way about her that she does about him. She is so sure that he is going to be her husband. Welp...someone's going to be pretty devastated because guess what...you're not the only one he loves. This does not give you an automatic final rose and proposal.
At dinner, JoJo asks more about what happened with her brothers. He said they made a comment about him having a lot of power and he felt like there was a lot of tension. He said it concerns him that he didn't feel like anything got resolved and he walked away from the hometown without really knowing them and without them really knowing who he is. She said she wished she could have stood up for him. She said they are just being really protective.
Caila #2
Caila just had to see Ben again. She told him that she loved him and she just couldn't be away from him. She wanted to make sure he didn't forget about her and remind him that being with her is fun and spontaneous. She got dropped off where he was staying and he found him sitting outside. She snuck up behind him and kissed him from over the top of his chair. To say he was surprised to see her would be an understatement.
He knows this isn't going to be easy, but there's only one thing he can do. He can't tell Caila that he loves her, and obviously he could about the other 2. He told her he's actually glad she came over. She could quickly tell that this conversation was not going in a good direction. He told her that he was in love with 2 people but he couldn't say it back to her. He said it's hard to imagine saying goodbye to her and he's going to miss her. She said it sounded like a line and he didn't have to say it. She said she was just going to go...and cue the long awkward walk all the way back to the car. She broke down and said she really did love him. Just as she was getting ready to pull away, she got back out of the car. She said she might as well take advantage of the time and get some answers. She asked when he knew and he said he didn't know at the beginning of the week. He said all 3 women shared the same feelings she did. When that happened, his feelings were more evident. He said the last thing he wants is for her to think that their relationship didn't matter and that it wasn't real. He said he was genuinely going to miss her. It was so hard for him to do, but it was obviously the right thing to do. He couldn't hold his feelings back with the other 2.
Rose Ceremony
So, the Rose Ceremony was pretty pointless, as there were 2 roses to give out and only Lauren and JoJo were present. Yet he still proceeded to call each of their names and offer them a rose.
