1-on-1 Date: Amanda
Olivia was sure her name was going to be the name on the date card. She can't understand why Amanda would be getting a date, because she has kids and she thinks she is all wrong for him. She thinks because she has kids, she won't be coming back from their date. [Hint: this is foreshadowing for an incident coming up later.]
Ben wakes Amanda up at 4:30 in the morning for their date. He can't wait to see their faces when he catches them by surprise all asleep. He was greeted with the usual responses. Lauren H with her retainer was pretty funny. However, did someone tell Amanda that he was going to do this, because she woke up with perfect hair and makeup...like perfect.
They went for a hot air balloon ride over the city.
She shared that she was nervous to open up to him about her life and who she is, besides her kids. She doesn't want to scare him by talking about her failed marriage. She said she got married when her oldest daughter was 6 months old. She said there were red flags, like he wasn't the nicest person all the time and she and her girls weren't always a priority to him. After getting pregnant with her second daughter, she found things on his phone about other women. He said he admires her for all she's been through. It breaks his heart that someone would do that to her and her daughters. He isn't sure why someone like her would be interested in someone like him, but he's very appreciative. He said he never wants her to be embarassed or ashamed of her past. He doesn't want her to hold anything back for fear of what he might think. And with that, she got the rose.
Group Date: Emily, Becca, JoJo, Leah, Jennifer, Olivia, Jubilee, Lauren B, Caila
Olivia was again, not so happy that she was not getting a 1-on-1. Just as RealitySteve said...they are playing that up this season with her being a front runner, and then NEVER getting a 1-on-1. Olivia is going into the date thinking that she really needs to get the rose.
They sit through a lesson of Spanish with an instructor, and then they each have to get up and say something in Spanish to Ben. The whole time, Jubilee is whining about being on a group date and not liking seeing Ben with other girls. When it comes to her turn, she said this doesn't mean anything because he's said the same thing to the last 4 girls before her. And he was saying something about wanting to kiss them, and she annoyingly said, he wants to kiss everyone. Talk about another party-pooper move on her part. Definitely seems like this is her personality, and not just a one-time joke like when she didn't want to go on the helicopter on her date. The girls were in awe of her attitude.
Olivia wanted to take the class seriously because she knows a little Spanish and she wants to learn more because Ben wanted to learn. So, when it came to her turn, she was reading way into what he was saying to her, about wanting to kiss her. Never mind the fact, that Jubilee so brashly pointed out to everyone...that he was saying the exact same thing to every girl! She was feeling something and she wondered if anyone else noticed their little moment.
After their Spanish lesson, then use what they learn in town at a restaurant and food market. The chefs will give them a recipe that is in Spanish, and they also have to pair up to make a food dish.
Olivia immediately grabbed Ben, naturally, when she asked if he was participating. Except Jubilee was not going to give in, but neither was Olivia, who said she "claimed" him. Eventually, Jubilee gave up because Olivia always gets what she wants. And Olivia is "feeling good today!" She doesn't care if the girls don't like the way she does things.
The girls were all jealous of Olivia getting to spend so much time with Ben. They are still making fun of her bad breath. Emily pointed out that Ben directed her over to the mints because of her bad breath.

Emily & Jennifer - cevice
Becca & JoJo - taco
Caila & Leah - stuffed pepper
Jubilee & Lauren B - ?
Olivia & Ben - duck sandwhich and mole (Olivia decided to put crickets on it, what?)
They all share the kitchen as they are trying to prepare their dishes. Ben notices that all the girls are having fun and working well together. However, he notices that Jubilee is holding back on having fun and doesn't seem to feel comfortable.
Lauren B and Jubilee win best dish and the chefs said it should be in their restaurant.
At the cocktail party, Jubilee was ready to pounce and get time with Ben first. But, there's no beating Olivia! The words were almost out of Jubilee's mouth, but somehow, Olivia STILL got to him first. I think he was a little disappointed, but gave in. Not only was Jubilee not first, she didn't make a move, and Emily, then Caila, then Becca, then Jennifer, then Lauren B...all had time before her. Jubilee just sat there sulking over not getting time with him and sad that he reaches for everyone's hand but hers.
Ben took Lauren B away from the party a little bit. They were kind of having a private moment with a lot of kissing, but it was on the loud and busy street corner. It was a little weird.
Going into the night, Jubilee was feeling pretty good about things. But her mood all day has been something different. He wanted to hold her hand but she didn't really want to. She said she feels overshadowed on group dates and she knows that she is not Lauren B or Beeca or JoJo. He asked if it's getting harder for her to be here and she said it's always been hard and she wonders if he knows she's still there. He said it wouldn't be fair to her to say that he is confident in what they have because he feels her pulling away. He wanted to hold her hand and she pulled away. She doesn't want him to give up on her, but what is he supposed to do, she sends such mixed signals! She said when she sees him she wants to hug him she doesn't want things to be weird. She doesn't want him to think that she's holding back. He wants to know if she still thinks there could be something between them. But she said that all she wants is for HIM to say that HE thinks there is something there. He said as hard as it is, and with how things are progressing with the other girls, it wouldn't be fair for him to say that he saw them having a future. He said he thinks it's best if they say goodbye now. Honestly, this was a long time coming and should have been done a long time ago. This just wasn't the right situation for her. I'm sure she's a nice girl, but we didn't really see the best side of her on the show and I don't see her having really anything in common with Ben. She was really upset and said she would have loved him unconditionally. Yeah, well, you might have wanted to show that side of you before tonight. Sorry. I was a little surprised that Ben was so emotional after letting her go. I'm sure it was just because he knows he hurt her, not because he really had any feelings for her whatsoever.
Ben joined the group and told them that he let Jubilee go. He started to tell them about how intrigued he was by her in the beginning. Before he could say anything more, JoJo interrupted him and wanted to talk to him. She wanted to comfort him and let him know that he has impacted her. She loves how he handles every situation with such respect. They had a really nice, sweet moment.
Time for the rose. One might think that having just had a nice moment with JoJo, that maybe she would get the rose. Nope...you guessed it...it went to Olivia. He said he wanted to give it to her because they have reconnected and he knew she struggled for a bit and now she's back. To say the girls were OK with that would be an extreme understatement.
1-on-1 Date: Lauren H - fashion show
Apparently Mexico City is known for its fashion and it's actually fashion week. They play dress-up and try on lots of outfits for each other. They get invited to attend the fashion week show. It's all fun and games at the rehearsal until they are told that they are going to walk the runway in the show!
Lauren is so nervous, she's like "I'm a teacher"! She gets some tips and then they do a couple practice runs. Ben's going to be a natural. I've seen some photos on social media of him walking the runway, and he looks gorgeous!
He gave her a kiss for good luck and told her that she was the prettiest one there. She killed it. And then came Ben...he was smoldering! Holy crap, he was smokin' hot! I loved that shirt on him. Geesh! So cute!
At dinner, Ben is looking to see if there is anything more to them than just friends.
She made a point to tell him that she admired how he handled things with Jubilee the night before.
It made her feel good that he sees that she is sincere and speaks from her heart. She opened up about a serious relationship of 4 years. He was her first love and she moved across the country for him and out of the blue, he broke up with her. She found out he had been cheating on her with several people, one of whom was her friend. She chose to move on and be happy. As she was talking, he was just mesmerized. You can tell he's really listening and not just zoning out when girls are talking.
He told her had so much fun with her and the more he learns about her, the more attracted he is to her. I have to admit, the more I see of her, the more I like her too. He told her that he will never forget their date and it is a great beginning for them, and he gave her the rose.
Back at the house, the girls are talking about Olivia getting the rose. They think she should have been going home this week. They don't know why she is getting roses. Me too, girls. Me, too.
Cocktail Party
"Screw being insecure, I'm not going anywhere." - Olivia
Jennifer wishes Ben could see what they see with Olivia. In an ITM Ben said he would feel terrible if he fell for someone he found out wasn't who he thought she was. Hmmmm.....
JoJo is first to talk to Ben. Wow, we're really seeing a lot of JoJo tonight. She told him that she wants to be kept in the loop and doesn't want to be blindsided if something changes in the way he feels for her. He promised she would never be blindsided.
Lauren B said she can see a life with him, and that terrifies her.
Amanda said she was anxious and had a dream about her girls. Olivia stares at her, and here it comes..."I feel like I'm watching an episode of Teen Mom...you know...the show...". Cue jaw drops all around. There's no getting out of that one. They said it was rude of her to say something like that. Olivia "realized" what she said and started to cry. She told them that she was learning more about herself in this, and she is going to try to do better.
Emily took it upon herself to talk to Ben about Olivia. She said she has been so disrespectful, and him giving her the rose makes her wonder if she (Emily) is the right person for him. She said she doesn't want to let someone affect her that way. He said he didn't want her to feel disrespected and her feelings are important, so he wanted to know exactly what has happened to make her feel that way. She didn't want to talk bad about anyone, but she felt it was important to talk to him about. She knows that she is not the only one who feels this way about her. She said Olivia is mean and fake and she just doesn't like fake people.
Oh man, I just realized there is only 5 minutes...that means a cliffhanger episode :( I hate those!
So it's time to face the music, Olivia is up next. Ben is confused because he thought he knew who everyone was. She brought him a ring, since he gives her roses. He said he knows that people get on a high when they get something like the rose, and he wondered how it is going back to the house afterward. She said he doesn't need to worry about her because she is on such a high. He asked if everyone congratulates her or what. She really didn't answer.
After her talk with Ben, Emily called Haley and told her about Emily.
Ben asked Amanda how things were going in the house. Amanda said that in the first week, she felt targeted by Olivia. He's starting to get really worried. Jennifer said Olivia just doesn't click with everyone else. She puts on a good front in front of the group and makes it try to seem like she gets along with all of them when she really doesn't.
Right before Ben leaves for the Rose Ceremony, he asks to see Olivia. The girls wonder if he is going to take away her rose. Now THAT would be amazing.

Let's be honest, even if we didn't know the spoilers, we know that Olivia will get one more episode, even after this shocking turn of events (shocking for Ben, any way). We know she should go this week, but that's not how this show works.
