Dan calls Shirin out and says for a fan he can't believe she doesn't know the difference between a flip and a blindside. She said, you're right, you know more than me. He countered with a "you're right Miss Know-it-All". Oh my Dan, just shut up!
Shirin is hoping that Blue will fracture and she is hoping to make a big move to shake things up. She told Mike that she will vote for Mike to win if she's on the jury. Dan said, you bet you will because you WILL be on the jury.
And with that...a BIG storm is moving in.
Jenn said she is OK with being voted out now. Shirin is worried that she might now have to find a new alliance. She approaches Mike and Sierra. He said he would have to be able to trust her. He asked her who she would vote out first. She said Carolyn, because of the people she is close to: Will, Tyler. Mike agrees that there is a minor alliance in their big alliance.
Reward Challenge
This one is going to be brutal...they've been showing the previews, and there are bodies flying everywhere.
Teams obstacle course head to head, and then throw hooks to collect 5 rings
Reward: Chocolate! M&Ms, Twix, Snickers, etc. He let them each taste one before the challenge.
Red: Mike, Tyler, Shirin, Dan, Sierra
Blue: Rodney, Joe, Jenn, Carolyn, Will
Mike vs. Rodney...you can hear the skin sliding on that big slide. Rodney falls hard on the balance beam but makes it.
Will vs. Dan: Dan is smoking him! He slipped on the slide and went butt first. Will just flopped and slid down the slide like a seal. Both looked pretty painful. It wasn't pretty to watch, but they completed it in fairly decent time.
Carolyn vs. Tyler: Carolyn decided to go down face first on the slide. Tyler leading and took a huge hit on the balance beam. He has to go back. Carolyn also has to go back twice.
Jenn vs. Shirin: Shirin has the lead, but Jenn is closing in.Jenn takes the lead easily on the balance beam. We know from last week that Shirin is not good at balance. Red takes a big lead as Shirin can't even get herself back up.
Joe vs. Sierra: Joe is done before Sierra starts
Red is working on throwing their hooks to gather the rings. Sierra makes up some time and we are tied. It continued to go back and forth. Blue leads 4 to 3. Joe launches a big one, and it just couldn't hook it for Red.
Mike snags the 5th one, and Blue wins reward.
Merica Camp
Rodney is bummed he didn't win reward again. He decided they needed to kill a chicken so they can eat something different. Of course Jenn was disgusted because they were "her" chickens and no one asked her if they could kill one. She said she is in "despair".
Rodney does a spot-on impression of Mike, and it's hilarious!!!! Next, he did Dan, and it was so good! He had them all laughing so hard, even Jenn.
Joe sees that Rodney really doesn't like Mike, and he's hoping to use that to his advantage.
Joe prepares for the challenge by doing some stretching. Jenn She wants to go home, but she knows if she asks to go home, they won't vote her out, so she might have to do something to make them vote for her. She told Joe that if it comes down to her and him in the challenge, he should let her win and she will give him the necklace at Tribal. Oh, wouldn't that be funny! He tells her that he wishes she would change her mind about staying.
Immunity Challenge
I'm so worried for Joe!
Challenge: balance on your toes with a block wedge between your head and the beam above you...this one's going to be tough!
Oh my...Joe is the first one to bobble...as Jeff jinxes him by saying he has yet to lose a challenge. Come on Jeff! Leave him alone!
Carolyn is the first one down, and Will follows. There goes Shirin. Joe moved, and he recovered again! My heart is pounding! I don't like this! Rodney is out, and Dan is out. Joe is wobbling, and his head looks like it won't stop wobbling. Yikes!
Sierra is out. Joe held it as long as absolutely possible. Poor guy. He was so focused and he did not want it to drop.
Tyler looks like he could stand there for days. Mike's body is starting to shake all over. Now Tyler's legs are shaking.
Jenn is looking good, while Mike's drops. Jenn, playing it off like she wants to win it. She even got mad at Dan when he dropped because it shook the beam. OK, since Joe is out, it's all up to you Jenn and we will see if you can keep your word and give the necklace to Joe.
Jenn tried, but she just couldn't hold it, and Tyler wins. SHOOT! That was going to be something special at Tribal. Now preparing myself for a devastating ending :(
Merica Camp
I hope that Shirin's number loophole can work some magic. If Joe votes for Jenn, there will be a tie because they will split their votes. Shirin could then vote for Jenn. She begged her to do it. Mike wants Shirin to vote for Joe. Mike knows that Joe could vote Jenn.
Shirin doesn't know if she wants to vote out a friend, who really wants to go home...or she could vote out the biggest threat in the game. If she's as smart as she thinks she is, Joe would be the obvious vote. But obviously, I'm hoping she doesn't go that way!
Joe is fighting it out til the end. As soon as he can slip away, he's going to go make a fake idol.
Joe pulls Dan aside and tells him he really wants to stay. Dan says there's nothing he can do. As soon as Dan leaves, Joe sprints to the woods to find his stash of items to make a fake idol. Of course he would make an idol...he's a jewelry designer. His necklace looks awesome!
Mike is worried because they weren't supposed to let him by himself. Mike finally finds him, and Joe said he will vote Jenn if he can promise the votes will sway his way. Mike said he wants the idol first. Joe said, he can't do that. Of course Mike has the idol that Joe had a clue for...but he is holding on to the possibility that he has a different idol. Oh man...I'm so nervous...I have no idea what's going to happen!
Tribal Council
Jeff asked Jenn if she really wanted to be here. She said yes and no. He asked her what she would have done with the immunity idol if she won, and she said she would have given it to Joe because everyone is voting for him. Jeff told her she could get up and walk out, and she said she doesn't want to quit.
Mike asks Jeff to verify something. He holds up an idol...Jeff said he can't verify it until he plays it...which is after the votes. Mike said, "Well, it's the determining factor if someone goes home." Oh boy...
The Votes
Tyler's confessional, he stares blankly into the camera, holds up his card with Jenn's name on it, and says "I have no idea what's going on". Then Rodney says "I have no idea what's going to happen tonight." Clearly I'm not the only who who has no idea what's going to happen!
Mike brings the "idol" to Jeff, and he says he's playing it for Will. Jeff confirms it is NOT an idol.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! He was so close to getting by one more Tribal. It hurts because he deserves to be there more than so many people. Keeping it real, I know that the chances of him actually making it to the end were slim to none. He played a great game, he just got dealt kind of a bad hand starting with his original tribe. Hopefully he'll get to play again some day. I sure am going to miss those curly locks killing it in every challenge. I guess the one good thing we can be thankful for is: Joe lasted long enough to make the jury, so guess what...we still get to see him every week! Really wishing I could be Hali right now...just her and Joe at Ponderosa :)
