The Voice, Ep. 4.7

This week starts the Battle Rounds. The coaches put 2 of their own up against each other, singing the same song. One stays, one goes. The other coaches have the opportunity to steal the singer who was not chosen to stay by their own coach. Each coach has 2 steals to utilize. Let the battles begin!

Team Adam

Amber Carrington vs Sasha Allen
Really good song: "Try" by Pink.
I'm really impressed with Amber, I didn't think I would like her this much. I love how clear her voice is. It is perfect for this song. Sasha's problem is that she's a classic over-singer. Just because you have a huge voice doesn't mean you should belt it out as loud as you can. Not every song calls for that. This song is one of those songs. I would pick Amber.
Winner: Amber
Shakira and Usher all try to steal, but she goes to Team Shakira

Judith Hill vs Karina Iglesias
I hate this song (James Brown's "It's a Man's World"). Ugh!
So, who's gonna bust the lights out? These 2 have probably the biggest voices in the competition. They sound really amazing together. It's easy to see why Adam put them together. Their screams borderline over-the-top, but they are just controlled enough to be super amazing. This literally could go either way. I have no idea who he's going to pick, but I can almost guarantee whoever Adam doesn't pick, the other will be stolen by someone. I think the edge might go to Judith.
Winner: Judith
And just as predicted, Shakira decided to steal!

Team Blake

Holly Tucker vs Michelle Raitzin
Can I just say how much I love the song "Blown Away" by Carrie Underwood? Love it!
Holly was meant to sing this song, she just sounds so amazing. Michelle is doing much better than what she sounded like in the rehearsals. I didn't really care for how low she was singing the song on her verse. Holly just ruled it from top to bottom. Her power was amazing, but most importantly, it was not over-sung...it was perfect. Gotta go with Holly on this one. Head to head, Michelle seemed to crack as she was really trying to match Holly's power.
Winner: Holly

Christian Porter vs The Swon Brothers
"Won't Back Down by Tom Petty is a great song choice for these guys.
I think Christian proved that he really can sing with this. He killed it on the high notes. The brothers did awesome as well. This is another tough one. I've never been crazy about duos, so I would go with Christian, but the brothers sounded really good, too. I think Christian also kicked the stage presence up a notch...he was moving all around and interacting with the brothers, I thought that was really good. I'm not sure who Blake is going to choose. I would go with Christian, but the brothers are more country, so he'll probably pick them. I don't think the brothers were very interesting--they were good, not great.
Winner: The Swon Brothers

Team Shakira

Garrett Gardner vs J'Sun
Really interesting song choice: "How You Like Me Now" by The Heavy...but it works!
I'm amazed at how well J'Sun was able to adapt to this song. I have a soft spot for Garrett, but J'Sun killed it. He has such a smooth voice, but yet he was able to put some real rock into it, which sounded so cool. Garrett did not disappoint, so I hope he can pull out the win! He controlled his rasp and growl and used it very smartly. He even got the falsetto! Nice! This is a tough one, I do like them both. I think if J'Sun isn't picked by Shakira, someone might steal him, but I don't know if I can say the same for Garrett (Shakira was the only chair to turn in the Blinds).
Winner: Garrett

Team Usher

Jess Kellner vs Taylor Bekham
"You Know I'm No Good" by Amy Winehouse is perfect for both of them. I love this song!
They give me goosebumps! I thought I was all team Taylor, but Jess is sounding really good too! I definitely like Jess better tonight than in her audition. Their harmonies were amazing! This is going to be tough. I think Taylor may prove to be a little more versatile, but Jess has a very unique voice. The song seemed to suit Jess just a little more than Taylor. Taylor has such a crystal clear tone that I love. Whoever doesn't get picked better get stolen. I'm leaning toward Taylor, but I think he will pick Jess.
Winner: Jess
At the very last minute, Blake makes a steal!

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.21

HOH Competition
We can automatically count Talla aka "Lala" out...she sucks...at EVERYTHING! It looks like it's between Peter (working from bottom to top) against Jillian (working from top to bottom). And it's JILLIAN! She was excited to put it mildly.

Talla then goes and has a pity party for herself. Not so much for losing, but because Emmett put her on the block.

Emmett questions Jillian about why Peter didn't go on the block instead of Talla. To be honest, I'm not really sure either. They should have just kept the peace and put Peter up. Now Andrew and Talla don't trust Emmett and Jillian. It doesn't matter what they say to try to rationalize it, Talla and Andrew aren't buying it.

Who's Gonna Be The Pawn
Peter is obviously going on the block, but the question is: who is gonna be the pawn? There's only 2 options: Talla and Andrew. Jillian thinks that Talla has not won anything, so she should offer herself up to go on the block. But she doesn't see it that way. She says she will have nothing to do with her alliance if they put her on the block.

Peter's Final 2?
Peter once said that Jillian could possibly be someone to go to the final 2 with. Now, he talks with Emmett, because he thinks maybe he can go to the final 2 with him. He says that Andrew is a threat in competitions. Peter can help them get Andrew and Talla out. He's fairly certain that if he can get to the end, he can talk his way into winning the $100,000.

Have/Have-Not Competition
Emmett and Peter vs Talla and Andrew

The challenge was to have one person in a tub and they have to wear down an entire bar of soap to get to a key inside. Lots of rubbing going on, and if you didn't know what was going on, you would think it was something very inappropriate.

Emmett and Peter are the winners and are the Have's for the week. Uh-oh, Lala is not liking that she is a Have-Not for the week. Get ready to feel her wrath.

Not only are they the Have-Nots, they have to wait on the Haves, hand and foot. They have lots of chores to do and have to get up an hour earlier to get them done. And the craziest punishment of all was that they have to watch a 10 minute compilation video of Emmett and Jillian kissing. Really? That's just stupid. Talla was absolutely refusing to do any of it. Then to make things worse, the Haves get to write down luxuries that only the Haves can enjoy. The whole thing does seem kind of ridiculous, but it's a game and these are the rules. You just have to suck it up and do it. Looks like Andrew is going to be doing EVERYTHING with no help from Lala. Talla: this is not helping your case for not going on the block...just a thought.

Nominations
Andrew tries to reason with Talla about why she has to go on the block instead of him. Andrew says he's won 3 competitions and she's won none. When he goes on the block, he's not a pawn, he's the target. She still wasn't getting it.

In the middle of the night, Peter had an epiphany and ran to tell Emmett right away. If Jillian puts Peter and Talla on the block...if Andrew wins POV and saves Talla (because they are allies), then Emmett has to go up on the block. Emmett said that stuff like that is why they keep Peter around...he's smart. Emmett goes and talks to Jillian right away so they can figure something out.

Nomination Ceremony
Jillian nominates Andrew and Peter

She nominated Peter because she thinks they lost trust with him when Alec was voted out. She nominated Andrew because she had to choose someone else and Talla was "too-too cute to put on the block".

Neither Peter nor Andrew are too sure where they stand, are they the pawn or the target?

Celebrity Apprentice, Ep. 13.7

The Task: make a silent movie promoting Australian Gold

Team Power
Project Manager: Trace (because no one else would step up)
Trump sends Marilu to their team, because Team Power is being decimated...the opposite of  "power".

Trace: "In the beginning there was a caveman..." I think I like where this is going.

Lil' Jon kind of takes the lead since he had been in the last task with Australian Gold. Trace seemed annoyed and just got up and walked away. Trace didn't want to waste any time with the executives, he just wanted to go with the caveman idea that they came up with.

Trace didn't want to integrate the product into the film, but Lil' Jon knows that's why his team lost the last time. Even so, Trace didn't seem to care. I think that's a big mistake.

Who better to play the caveman/Fred Flintstone than Trace, huh? He is so believable in that role, it's crazy!

Lil' Jon is the director, but Marilu keeps throwing out ideas. They are running late and now they are probably not going to have enough time to edit. This group is so spastic, I don't see how they are going to come up with a consensus on anything.

Trace was absolutely perfect in this role, and I think the video was very good. The executives laughed more than once.

Team Plan B
Project Manager: Gary

Oh boy, everyone remember the last Australian Gold task that Gary was a part of? Deja vu?

Gary is ridiculous. He should never be allowed to talk to executives. He is almost impossible to understand, and makes absolutely no sense. It's just a lot of wasted time.

Gary's idea is to have a male and female and she's away from the sun. "She's a vampire with a day pass, and she's afraid to go out there."

Stephen directs as Gary does...well...he's trying to smile without looking creepy. Kind of impossible if you ask me. Good luck Stephen!

Time to edit and Stephen and Penn butt heads over the speed of the film.

Time to present, and Gary actually made a little sense as it presented it to the executives. I gotta say, the whole film really came together.

The Boardroom
Gary said he didn't use any of this prior knowledge about Australian Gold from the last task because it was in the PAST: Preoccupation About Spent Time, and he is in the NOW: No Other Way.

Trump asked Trace if he likes Australian Gold, and Trace said it smelled good. He then asked him if he used it, and Trace said "I ain't been in the sun for a month."

And the winners: Team Power. Finally! They had lost, what, like 4 in a row? It's kind of funny that 50% of their team is Team Plan B.

Gary decides to bring Stephen and Penn back.

It seems the most logical that Gary is the one who will take the fall for this. I don't think Penn or Stephen did enough to be fired over on this task.

Trump: "Is it Stephen's fault?" Gary: "I. Don't. Know."
Trump: "Why did you bring Penn back?" Gary: "I was asked to bring 2 and he is my friend." Trump then immediately sends Penn out of the room.

Stephen says the reason they lost was that they didn't use all of the products and he only directed what was given to him. I really don't see how the fault of this comes back to Stephen. Gary as the PM missed the mark. Trump kept getting Stephen to say that Gary did an amazing job, and then the Trumps (plural) took what he said literally that Stephen thinks that Gary did an amazing job and therefore shouldn't be fired. Ridiculous.

Trump: "Stephen, you're fired."

Wow. I cannot believe he kept Gary when Stephen really didn't do anything wrong. Just because he thought Stephen should have been the one to put more emphasis on the entire product line into the video. THAT SHOULD BE THE PROJECT MANAGER'S CALL! Obviously, Trump was looking for any way possible to keep Gary on the show because he's good entertainment. Had ANYONE else been PM, they would have been fired, no question...I guarantee.

Amazing Race, Ep. 22.8

8th Leg: Zurich, Switzerland
Bates/Anthony lead it off again.

Everyone is taking off together.

The train at the connecting location leaves without Mona/Beth and Meghan/Joey. Bummer. However, the place they need to get into doesn't open until the morning, so that will be plenty of time for the others to catch up again.

The teams have to take St. Bernard dogs on a rescue mission on the top of a mountain. How cute are those dogs! Uh-oh Caroline/Jennifer's dog was so scared, he didn't want to get on the train!

Road Block: Climb Eiger
They have to climb the side of a mountain to get to a gnome that has their next clue on the bottom. And it wasn't just any mountain, it was WAY, WAY up there! The view was incredible!

Bates/Anthony finish first.

Switchback: Cheese Hill
I loved this challenge the last time...it provided a lot of laughs! They have to move humungous cheese blocks on little sleds. Most of the teams struggled just climbing up the steep, snowy hill.

Bates/Anthony had a good method of sliding down backwards with the 2 blocks of cheese on the sled underneath them.

Lots of tumbles and the sleds ended up sliding over some people! Caroline/Jennifer seemed to have the most problems out of anyone (Jennifer more than Caroline). But then there was Chuck/Wynona. Can they just get eliminated, please?! I'm so tired of her not being able to do anything. She was absolutely helpless. Chuck literally had to pull her up the hill, which couldn't have been easy. And then, she couldn't even slide DOWN the hill, she just sat there like a bump on a log. Her bright idea was to roll the cheese down the hill. Great, they end up everywhere...PLUS that was breaking the rules!

Meghan/Joey seem to be a little lost trying to find the pitstop. Hurry up you guys, we want Alabama gone!

Pitstop #8
#1: Bates/Anthony
#2: Mona/Beth
#3: Max/Katie
#4: Caroline/Jennifer
#5: Meghan/Joey
*Chuck/Wynona didn't transport the cheese correctly, they incurred a 30 minute penalty. Meghan/Joey checked in before the penalty was up!
#6--ELIMINATED--Chuck/Wynona

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.20

We're in for another double eviction folks! Buckle your seat belts, it's going to be a wild and crazy ride!

The Scrambling Begins
Alec talks to Emmett to try to gain back his trust and say that Topaz is a threat. Peter pitches the same thing to Jillian and Emmett. Jillian says that if Peter can get the vote to 2-2 that she will break the tie and send Topaz home.

The Vote
Talla--Alec
Emmett--Alec
Peter--Topaz
Andrew--Alec

With a vote of 3-1, Alec is evicted from the house. I'm sad to see him go. I just wish he would have gotten rid of Topaz earlier and was fully with Emmett and Jillian. So sad.

1st HOH Competition
Plead Your Case--decide if the evicted houseguest's quote is True or False

It comes down to Andrew and Emmett, and after a tie-breaker, Emmett wins! They had to guess the number of minutes in one of the challenges, and Andrew guessed 188 minutes and Emmett guessed 190 minutes! Wow, that was ridiculously close!

Nominations
With only a couple minutes to decide, Emmett puts Topaz and Talla. Wow, I'm shocked! I really thought it would be Topaz and Peter. Emmett says the reason he puts Topaz up is because she is an endurance machine in comps. He says that he put Talla on the block because she annoys him. Really? I love her expression when he said that!

POV Competition
Because there are only 6 players left, they will all be playing. They have to find all of their letters in a big bin of packing peanuts and get them into their mailbox. Peter finds his first one very quickly. Topaz finds one. But it's Peter with his 2nd and final letter before anyone else even finds one! Wow, Peter is on fire! He didn't even need to win this time.

POV Ceremony
Peter decides not to use the Veto and the nominations remain the same. It's kind of surprising that he didn't save the one person who was kind of forced to be on his side. But, on the other hand, it shows some loyalty to the other side which could work to his advantage.

Eviction Ceremony-The Vote
Jillian--Topaz
Andrew--Topaz
Peter--Topaz (on behalf of Liza)

With a vote of 3-0, Topaz is evicted from the house! It's about time! I am so happy to see her go!

2nd HOH Competition
This is a familiar challenge. They have to put eggs  with houseguests names on, in order of eviction. They have to maneuver the eggs through the chicken wire. This challenge is so much harder than it looks, especially when you drop one and have to start over.

Twist!
A jury member will be returning to the house. Viewers vote for AJ, Alec, Gary or Topaz. Next week we find out who it is! Wow, this could really change the game.

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.19

Jillian tries to convince Peter that Alec is her target and not him. She knows that after Alec is gone that he will be scrambling to find an alliance. Peter recognizes that it might be a smart move to side with her, and might actually want to go to the finals with her.

Then Jillian does some damage control and needs to tell Topaz why she went back on her word. She says that the conversation that she had with Alec before the nominations really made her not trust him.

Veto Competition
The Players: Jillian, Alec, Peter, Talla, Topaz, Andrew

Emmett was so incredibly upset that he didn't get picked for the Veto. Settle down Emmett, it's going to be OK! But, oh, his troll outfit as host for the competition, was so worth seeing!

The goal of the competition was to put events on planks in order to complete a bridge and then make it over the bridge in the fastest time.

Andrew was stymied by one plank and he finished in a little over 17 minutes! I'm no psychic, but I'm guessing someone will beat that.

Talla is up next and as Andrew says "Talla's strategy is no strategy at all." She didn't unveil all of the events, she just started putting them on the bridge. Dumb, dumb, dumb. She didn't realize that it was a dumb strategy until she got them all up and needed to rearrange them. Emmett and Andrew were cracking up on the sidelines, and Talla yells out that this is looking like a "1919 situation". She only had 4 out of the 14 right when she hit Andrew's time and Emmett told her to stop. Wow, that was just ridiculous.

Peter is up next. He just flew threw the challenge. The fashion show caused him some trouble just like it did for Peter and he got it in 13.52.

Jillian's turn. She only got 1/2 of them by the time Emmett told her to stop. I really thought she would do better than that.

Topaz was in no hurry. Alec could have used her help, but she was not even close.

Alec is last up, and he looked like he was in it to win it. He hit the button the first time at like 3 minutes. He only had 1 to change and Andrew, Jillian and Emmett were sweating. Then he knows which 2 he needed to switch. But he doesn't switch them! He just stands there befuddled and says to himself 'do I really want to win this'? Are you kidding me? He says "I quit". He couldn't even pretend like he was struggling and run out the time. Then as Emmett is going over the times, Alec throws up the Shield sign, and Peter sees it, and he doesn't really know why he did that. Alec thought it would be better for Peter to take himself off the block and him fight for his life than the other way around.

And it's Peter for the win!

Replacement Nominee
Topaz goes to talk to Jillian to make sure that she was still safe. Jillian tells her that even though she said she wouldn't put her on the block...and she didn't...that she now had to. Topaz is not very happy. She made a good point that the whole house knows the promise that she made and now she's going back on it.

Topaz hears the entire group in the HOH room talking. Wait a minute. How in the world are they talking loud enough for her to hear the entire conversation from the kitchen? Jillian was explaining how she was just entertaining Topaz and that she felt like she had to talk to her blah, blah, blah. Wow.

New Dark Moose-Secret Challenge
They notice a new dark moose in the hot tub area. Peter is the only person (other than AJ) who knows about Marsha the Moose. So, Peter waits for everyone to leave, and he camps out by the hot tub, just in case this one also decides to talk to him and give him a task.

He's right! This moose is Marge! I love how into it Peter gets, he just talks to it like it's a real person. This moose cusses and wants to smoke and drink some whiskey! Ha! So, Peter's task is to make the house believe that Tom is coming back into the house! Marge tells Peter not to f*** it up! Ha! Peter cringes, as if he's a little afraid of Marge.

1st task: change Tom's black and white picture with a colored one
2nd task: add another seat around the table
3rd task: put his stuffed animal in Jillian's HOH room

The hardest part for Peter was to go undetected as he made all of these changes in the house. Jillian can see all from the HOH room, so he had to be careful. Luckily, she was looking away from the screen at the time.

Later, Marsha talks to Peter, and she asks who he's been talking to and he says Alec (remembering that NO ONE is supposed to know about Marge). She asks him if there's another moose, and he says "No, I would never do that."

Talla and Topaz were the first to see that Tom's picture is color! Major freakout ensues! They run screaming through the house and Peter must join in. Major paranoia to say the least. And Peter is loving it!

In the HOH room, Emmett and Jillian realize the cameras in the room were pointing in an odd angle pointing at the bed, and she discovers Tom's monkey. She thinks it's a game to find all of Tom's things around the house.

The next day, the houseguests were called to the living room and they all assumed that it was to announce that Tom was coming back. But, it was Peter who stood up and announced the mission to the house. The reward for his success was to make a list of 5 luxury food items.

Veto Ceremony
Peter obviously takes himself off the block. Jillian then replaces him with Topaz.

American Idol, Ep. 12.27 & 12.28

The contestants have to sing 2 songs this week.

Angie
Song 1: I don't think I know this song. She sounds really good, though. It's a little on the boring side, unfortunately. My Score: B+

Song 2: I'm so glad she went back to the piano. Absolutely beautiful! Her voice is just amazing. My Score: A

Average Score: A-

Amber
Song 1: Not my favorite song...at all. She sounds great, though. She's really stepping it up the last couple weeks. My Score: A

Song 2: What a dumb song to pick for the "what song do you wish you sang" song...I hate that song. Her first song was much, much better. She sounded like she was screeching for those high notes. My Score: B-

Average Score: B+/B

Lazaro
Song 1: Another song that is way too low for him. Wow, that was just painful for most of the song. He always sounds so much better when he sings higher. Who keeps letting him sing songs that are too low. You can't even hear the words he's singing because it's too low. Not only is too low, but he was REALLY off on the notes. Usually, I can handle him being off a little, but tonight he was REALLY off. My Score: D-

Song 2: I love this song so much. I thought he did a really good job the last time he performed it. This is so much better than his first song. Lightyears better than the first one. It wasn't too low, and he showed again, that he does actually have a good voice. I don't think he had a bad note in that song. My Score: A-

Average Score: C+

Kree
Song 1: Hate this song, and she is not adding anything to it. Boring, boring, boring. I feel like she plays it so safe every week. It was nice, but I'm not jumping up and down over it. My Score: B+

Song 2: Another song I don't know, another boring performance. Based on her voice it was really good, but based on performance and my dislike of country music, it was just mediocre. Could she pretend like she was actually enjoying performing?  My Score: B+

Average Score: B+

Janelle
Song 1: Oh, man, another one of my all-time hated songs. She sounds fine, but another very blah, boring performance. My Score: B

Song 2: I think I like her voice better than Kree's, but something about her just doesn't get me excited about her either. She had some bum notes again, which is where she differs from Kree. My Score: B

Average Score: B

Candice
Song 1: I don't know this song. It's not great, she sounds fine as usual. I'm bored again. At least she made the ending a little exciting. My Score: A-

Song 2: Strange song choice, and she really changed it up, I almost didn't recognize it. Not my style of singing that I enjoy listening to, but I can appreciate that she sang it amazingly well. She killed it. My Score: A+

Average Score: A

The Results:

Survivor, Ep. 26.9

At Camp
Reynold has decided that he's ready to play the game. How nice...it's about time.

Oh boy...Sherri has now earned the name Tenacity. "Welcome to the organization." Sherri: "Phillip is my Shamar on this tribe."

Reward Challenge
2 teams of 5--Sherri wasn't picked, so she sits out. They have to throw a ball into a net with a member of the other tribe guarding it.

Not a lot going on, the scores were pretty much back and forth. But then...Cochran scores on Malcolm!

Purple wins: Cochran, Reynold, Michael, Erik, Eddie

Tribal Shifting
While left behind from the reward, Malcolm talks to Sherri and Dawn because they are on the bottom. The Favorites think they have 8 (7 Favorites plus Sherri).  Malcolm wants to pull in Dawn and Sherri to go with him, Reynold, Eddie to have 5. Sherri spills the beans to Andrea. Oh no! And then they tell Phillip, so of course now he wants to get him out because he's turned on the alliance and is trying to take control.

Andrea and Eddie are "Island Dating". Oh my, it will be the end of him, I think. I think she likes him more than he likes her. He did lie to her about knowing anything about an idol. At least he did something right.

Immunity Challenge
This challenge is taking things to a whole new level! They are stuck in cages that are filling with water. Whoever lasts the longest wins.

As it starts coming up to their ears and faces...that has to be so scary! Phillip is out 1st!

Sherri, then Erik, then Dawn, then Malcolm. Michael was shaking so bad before he popped out. Next was Eddie, and then Cochran and Reynold. It came down to Brenda and Andrea. Oh my gosh, I thought Andrea was out...she went under and then came back up once, but finally she left and Brenda won. Eddie had to go in and get her to tell her she won. That was incredible.

Final Maneuvers
Malcolm is IN TROUBLE! I can't believe Dawn. I really thought she would be someone Malcolm could trust...apparently not. Malcolm tells Reynold to show Dawn her idol, because she said she would vote with him.

Reynold: "who are we voting for?" Malcolm: "Andrea". Reynold: "Yes!" haha

Reynold tells Dawn not to screw him. He said that if he thought he couldn't trust her, he would use it on himself tonight. She did NOT like that tactic.

Reynold warns Eddie that he could fall into a trap with Andrea. He's right. Eddie tries to get it out of her who they are voting for, and she won't tell him. She just tries to tell him that it's not him. Then he gets caught in a lie about the idol. Oh no, and now he says that her name has been tossed around. That's great, way to run your mouth Eddie. So, since she's in danger, Andrea decides to abandon the plan to go after Malcolm and go for Michael instead! haha! Wow, wouldn't that be something! Dawn stresses to her that they have to go after Malcolm because she is sure that Malcolm does not have an idol. I don't know who Dawn and Andrea think they are making all the moves...what about their leader Phillip?

Tribal Council
Phillip begins discussing Stealth-R-Us and everyone cringes. He even spills the beans about Sherri joining the organization. What a great special agent...talking about the entire alliance. It's like Fight Club. First rule of Fight Club is that you don't talk about Fight Club.

The Vote
Malcolm votes for Reynold...what??? He says something about a throw away vote?

Before the votes are read, Reynold stands up to use his idol. Malcolm pleads to Reynold and says that everyone voted for him, and that he should use the idol on him. And HE DOES!!!!!!!!! Wow...don't believe what I just saw!

Andrea-3
Reynold-1
Michael-6

Holy crap! I can't believe what just happened. Poor Reynold for giving up his Idol...but so glad that Malcolm, Reynold and Eddie are safe another week. I really can't believe that they didn't vote for Malcolm...Dawn was so sure he didn't have an idol.

The Voice, Ep. 4.6

Team Adam

Amber Carrington - I think she's pretty good. I think the beginning of the song was better than the chorus. I think there are many other stronger country singers in the competition.

Team Blake

Jacqui Sandell - Gotta say, I'm not very impressed with her. Not sure what it is about her, but she just doesn't do it for me. She's just pretty bland.

Team Shakira

Luke Edgemon - He has a very silky, smooth voice. I really like his tone, it's very crystal clear. His range and control is amazing. Hated the song, but he's amazing.

Team Usher

Jessica Chldress - She has a very big voice. She's pretty good, but I think there's better in the competition.

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 16.7 & 16.8

Theme: Best Year of Your Life

Sean & Peta - Viennese Waltz (2012: He found Catherine)
Sean wants to find a way to incorporate Catherine in the dance. I wasn't sure how he would do with a slow ballroom dance, but he's doing a really good job. He's totally taking it serious and is really feeling it. It was actually really smooth and beautiful, and I sure hope the judges' scores reflect that!
Judges' Scores: 20

Victor & Lindsay - Paso Doble (2011: year he won the world championship in boxing)
This dance should suit him very well. Look at those abs and that chest, and that huge back tattoo! And Lindsay looks hot! Definitely lots of power and stomping around in that one.
Judges' Scores: 18

Jacoby & Karina - Foxtrot (2012: year his son was born and he won the Super Bowl)
It will be interesting to see how he does with a ballroom style. I'm sure it will be good, just like everything he's done so far. His facial expressions always crack me up. Even when he's being serious, there's just something funny about the way he moves, even though he's doing everything right. There's just some indescribably quality that he has. His solo was by far the best we've seen yet! Wow, there were a ton of moves in that solo!
Judges' Scores: 24

Aly & Mark - Contemporary (2012: London Olympics)
Her gymnastics should really help her in this style. She started off with a really good solo. Ooh and shirtless Mark...woohoo! I loved their side-by-side moves, they were completely in synch. Whoa! The leap backwards onto his shoulders was amazing! And then, holy crap, she does a full tumbling pass across the floor! Very nicely done!
Judges' Scores: 27

Andy & Sharna - Viennese Waltz (2013: being sober; dedicating the dance to his daughter)
It will be nice for him to see that there is more to him than the guy who just does the goofy stuff. This is a great song, and I think he did it justice. I really hope they give him some better scores this week, because he deserves it. He was so fluid and he just floated across the floor. Even his solo was heartfelt and beautiful. Way to go Andy! He had all the judges in tears!
Judges' Scores: 21

Zendaya & Val - Samba (2009: the year she started working in LA and was discovered)
It's funny that she's channeling Beyonce, because she actually looks a little like her. She looks amazing. Every week, I'm just so shocked that she's as young as she is. She killed that Samba! You could tell she was just feeling the music and the mood and she was just doing her own thing.
Judges' Scores: 26

Ingo & Kym - Viennese Waltz (2009: the year he got married)
He looked a bit stiff in some places. But, he had nice extension with his arms and legs. Overall it was nice, but it was definitely not my favorite one of his performances.
Judges' Scores: 23

DL & Cheryl - Foxtrot (?: before life got real)
OK, just gonna say it: he needs to go, and the "best year of his life" was the worst reason of everyone--before life got real...really?) The difference between him and Andy is that he relies on his goofy to do all of his dancing. He can't do the moves, so he basically stands in one spot for as long as possible. I don't find him funny, I just find him sad. Andy is really trying and he's succeeding, while still being his funny goofy self. This wasn't as bad as last week's catastrophe, but it still wasn't great. Because it was a slower dance to begin with, it suited him more than the Latin dance last week.
Judges' Scores: 21

Kellie & Derek - Rumba (2011: the year she got married)
Her husband, Kyle Jacobs, is going to be singing a song he wrote. How cool! I'm crying just listening to her story and they haven't started yet! There are no words to describe this. Wow. From the meaning behind the song, to him singing it to her, and to Derek just being awesome and choreographing the most beautiful dance ever. Wow. And the end when she ran up to him and kissed him. Awe!
Judges' Scores: 26

Lisa & Gleb - ChaCha (?: her daughter's wedding)
She passed out on Friday during their rehearsal. That was pretty scary. She's deciding to dance any way, and I've gotta say, you wouldn't know that she had been so sick. She's actually better this week than any previous week. I didn't think she would be able to handle such a quick and fast moving dance, because she's been pretty slow with all of her other dances. Good for her. Unfortunately, as much as I want her to leave, she'll probably get some sympathy votes.
Judges' Scores: 18

The Voice, Ep. 4.5

Team Adam

Michael Austin - His voice is surprising when you look at him. Parts of the performance are really good, but there's also some pitch issues. I think Adam and Shakira might have wished that they hadn't turned around so quickly. Obviously Blake, being the country guy, heard something he didn't like, or he didn't like enough to turn around. I'm a little disappointed he's on Adam's team. I think there are a lot of stronger singers.

Sasha Allen - She does not look like she should be singing country. The song started out way too low. As the song moved along, she got a lot stronger. When she was away from the low notes, it was very spot-on and very powerful. Overall, she really killed it, but there were some parts that didn't sound too good. I'm a little surprised the coaches were as excited as they were for it. She's definitely a great singer, but I've heard better.

Amy Whitcomb

Team Blake

Caroline Glaser - Elton John is a very interesting song choice. Right from the start you can tell that she has a very unique voice. She has a lot of talent and she did a really interesting performance of the song. Really unexpected, especially when you look at her.

Justin Rivers

Michelle Raitzin

Grace Askew - Whoa, what a strange voice! I'm not sure I like it. She looks like she "walked" right out of the 70s with  her beehive-esque hair, singing "those boots were made for walkin'...". Wow, I'm just speechless...I'm not sure if she's brilliantly unique or just strangely bad.

Team Shakira

Shawna P - She has an amazing, raspy voice. She sounds a little like Melissa Etheridge. She's an older contestant, but she seems like she could be relevant now. I'm surprised that I enjoyed her performance as much as I did. We haven't heard anyone like her yet in the competition.

Mary Miranda - She has a beautiful Spanish voice. She really rocked that Selena song.

Team Usher

Jeff Lewis - The pressure is on, singing an Usher song. I really like the way he changed it up, and I'm a total sucker for a cute guy and a guitar. Absolutely love his performance. I would by his album right now. I don't know what took the coaches so long to turn around!

Jamila Thompson

Ryan Innes - Whoa, 1 word in and Adam turned around! He does not look like the type of guy who would sing John Mayer. He's really good, though. He has a really good falsetto voice as well as his regular voice. He threw a ton of runs in that song, wow.

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.18

From what I've been reading on Twitter, this should be a very exciting episode, with lots of craziness.

HOH Competition
I'm not sure why it was legal for Emmett to be sitting down, and if it is legal, why weren't more people doing it? Alec was really struggling and last 1 hour and 20 minutes. He said he felt pretty safe with everyone up there. Big mistake: never get comfortable in the Big Brother house.

Peter was next out at 1 hour and 35 minutes. Not good for The Shield.

Emmett got DQd for taking one of his arms off the bar to scratch. Yikes.

Down to the 3 girls. They endured so much cold and wetness, and it was too much for Talla...she stepped off at 2 hours and 12 minutes. And then there were 2. Jillian slipped, but she caught herself, whew! Emmett was being so supportive from the sidelines...so cute! I am amazed that Topaz was like a rock. I'm surprised that she did so well. She was so numb she wasn't even shaking any more. Alec had a good comment about Topaz: "I guess all that napping and drinking Mountain Dew really paid off in her training regimen."

Emmett tried to get Jillian to make a deal with Topaz and tell her that she would be safe, but she didn't want to do it. Finally after 3 hours, they began to talk. She guaranteed each other's safety as well as the safety of their showmance partner's safety. Topaz says that she could have gone longer, but she wanted to show Jillian her loyalty. They lasted 3 hours and 36 minutes! Congratulations Jillian! Emmett was so cute, he was there waiting with a towel for her and he scooped her up and carried her inside. She told him the deal that she made with Topaz.

Alec was nice to Topaz, but not quite as nice as Emmett was to Jillian. Emmett and Jillian shared a warm shower, while Alec and Topaz shared a warm bed.

Promises Promises
Jillian talks to Andrew and Talla about the "deal" she made with Topaz and immediately said that she thinks she's going to have to break her promise. They then discuss Alec and they think he's telling a lot of lies about who he's in an alliance with to the end.

Emmett is not happy about the deal that she made, but he told her that she should put up Alec and Peter. That way she could keep her word that she didn't put her up.

Then it was time for Jillian to break the news to Topaz. There is no way that this is going to go over well. We all know what a temper Topaz has. She carefully works her way around the subject by saying she wants to keep her safe. Then she throws out Peter's name to see how she'll react. So far so good, and Topaz isn't crazy about the idea, but she would go along with it. Topaz throws out Talla's name because she's a "jumper". The conversation ends with Jillian convincing Topaz that she doesn't have anything to worry about. Jillian can claim success on that one, and Topaz only thinks that her plan has worked. She's in for a big shock come nomination time.

Time to Break the Bad News
Alec comes to talk to Jillian. She breaks the bad news that there's "a possibility" that he might have to go up. At this point, she makes it look like he would be the pawn. He tells her that she is not playing a very good HOH game and she is really worrying him.

Jillian tells Peter that the only 2 people she doesn't have a deal with is him and Talla (even though she does have a deal with Talla). She says she would love to put up Topaz, but she doesn't want to go back on her word. She makes him believe that Talla is her target, which makes him feel OK with whatever she wants to do.

The Cupboards are Bare!
The houseguests wake up and all the food is gone! Nothing but slop is there. Pretty soon the phone rings. Peter gets there first and he gets a task for the entire house. The challenge is that every time the phone rings, they have to say "yes'. If they are successful, the entire house is a Have for the week; if they are not successful, the entire house is Have-Nots for the week.

#1: Jillian: would you like to smother Alec's chest with peanut butter and lick it off? YES (Alec enjoyed it, Jillian and Emmett did not. Jillian said she tasted his deodorant and Emmett didn't care for his smirk, but it didn't matter because he was going to vote him out.)

#2: Dress up in funny costumes? YES (Jillian is pregnant, Andrew is a french maid...hilarious, Talla...I have no idea what Talla was supposed to be.

#3: Talla wax Andrew's legs? YES

#4: Topaz: only speak in French? YES

#5: Emmett: would you like to answer the phone for the next 5 times? YES

#6, 7, 8, 9, 10: Emmett: would you like to drink a glass of cold milk? YES (Sounds easy enough, but after #2, it was getting kind of hard. He was starting to look pale--like the color of milk, Andrew said--and he was feeling pretty crappy. Right after #5...immediately after #5, all 5 glasses came spewing out of him like a volcano. How awful!)

#11: Peter: would you like to eat an entire big salad all by yourself? YES (He has a food aversion and really struggles with foods he's not familiar with and he tried it all, and it all came back up...way to take one for the team.)

#12: Alec: would you like to bathe in a bath of fish guts for 5 minutes. YES

They succeeded so they all get to be Haves for the week!

Nomination Ceremony
Jillian puts Peter and Alec on the block. Let the week of fireworks begin.

Celebrity Apprentice, Ep. 13.6

The Task:
Trump's wife Melania is launching a new skin care collection. The teams are to create editorials and displays.

Team Power
Project Manager: Dennis

Dennis asks Melania if he can go to her bathroom to see what products she really uses. Wow...really inappropriate! The whole team just cringes. Oh no, now Gary is talking. He says that he sees something like a rainbow...not sure how that's connected to the task.

Dennis's idea revolves around caviar...everything caviar because that is part of the name of the product.

Dennis and Lil' Jon go shopping for props: they look for everything gold.

Dennis has a very laid back style. He didn't really give anyone a task, they just kind of started working. He couldn't even pronounce Melania's name right.

For some reason Trace was working with the graphic designer instead of Lil' Jon. Dennis signed off on what he saw, but for some reason, I'm thinking this will come into play later because they put special emphasis on them asking Dennis what he thought and making sure that he said it was OK. I'm guessing maybe there is a typo that he didn't catch, or maybe there is something glaringly wrong with the photos.

Presentation
I WAS RIGHT!!! Melania's name is spelled wrong on the presentation!!!! It was spelled Milania! Oh my. Not good. The presentation itself went very well, but that is a MAJOR problem.

Team Plan B
Project Manager: Penn

They decide to go all out with gold and caviar as well. They have a lot of money to work with, so Penn told Lisa and Marilu to be "promiscuous" with the caviar.

Eric Trump came to check in with the team and Penn was pretty rude to him. I think it was all in a joking way, but it could be taken in a very rude manner.

Presentation:
Penn made a few faux pas and then Gary spoke. 2 strikes.

The Boardroom
Gary announces that he would like to be a spokesperson go men, heterosexual and homosexual, about the greatness of the product. Oh my.

Trump wastes no time in telling Dennis that his team lost because of spelling Melania's name wrong.

Trace tried to blame it on the girl who did the graphics, and even though he didn't catch it, Dennis had the last say. But really, they ALL missed it...not one of them caught it.

Dennis decides only to bring Trace back to the boardroom with him.

Dennis made a very good case for himself. Trace brought up when Dennis asked Melania if he could look in her bathroom.

And with that, "Dennis, you're fired!"

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.17

Talla in the Middle
Andrew makes his pitch to get Talla on the East coast side. She trusts Andrew and realizes that this is her best move. She only trusts Peter and Alec about 50%. As she's leaving the HOH room, Peter and Alec pull her aside and make their pitch to try to get her on their side. Peter says that they just wanted her to know that they've been looking out for her. Somehow Talla has become the swing player. Never thought that would happen.

Present from Canada
Canada voted to give the house some girly alcoholic drinks. Talla is super excited, to say the least. It didn't taker her long to get "tipsy". She starts slurring her words, she's falling all over the place and she starts throwing herself at Topaz. It was so embarrassing! She tried to sit down in the DR and she completely fell off that HUGE chair!

Then she fell in the hot tub! Everyone was laughing at her as she peed in the hot tub! At that point, it didn't really seem like a laughing matter. She was seriously going to hurt herself. So, it was Peter to the rescue (since no one else seemed to care). He scooped her up and threw her over his shoulder and carried her into the house. "I, as the only sober, mentally stable person in the house last night, voluntarily took on the task of looking after Talla." I think she will look back on this and be very embarrassed.

Chain Reaction: Alliances are Outed
Emmett tells Gary that he and Jillian are working with Andrew. Gary tells this to Topaz. Topaz tells Alec. Alec and Topaz realize that they need to continue to work together to combat the East coast alliance. The lines will be drawn after the HOH competition. You're either East coast or West coast. No ifs, ands, or buts.

BBCan Families
We venture outside of the house for the first time to see how family members are feeling about their loved ones in the game.

The first moms we see are Alec and Peter's moms. They meet up and watch some footage of the show. It's really interesting to get their opinions. It looks like the 2 of them could very easily be friends now because of The Shield. Alec's mom doesn't think Topaz is for him (I agree). Peter's mom was shocked at him showing feelings for Liza.

Next up is Emmett and Jillian's families. Jillian's mom watches the show with her other daughters. They are all big fans of Emmett, especially Jillian's 15-year-old sister. Jillian's sisters love Emmett and they are calling the couple Jemmett. Aw! Emmett's mom wishes he wouldn't have gotten involved in a showmance so quickly. His parents and brothers are just a tad embarrassed at all of Emmett's PDA in the house. That said, they do all like Jillian and think that she's good for him.

The Vote
Jillian--Gary
Alec--Gary
Emmett--Gary
Peter--Gary
Talla--Gary

Eviction
With a vote of 5-0, Gary is evicted from the house.

HOH Competition
It's another endurance competition--Iceberg Ally. Hang onto the iceberg for dear life. The last one holding on is the new HOH. Starts off easy-peasy, but then it starts tipping. And, you guessed it...Talla started screaming.

Whoa, Emmett is sitting down?! How is that allowed? That would NEVER be allowed on BB USA.

Oh how I hate competitions that are "to be continued"...

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.16

The Showmance Is Officially Over!
Alec and Topaz both call it quits! It's about time! Alec wants to distance himself from Topaz and won't feel safe until both her and Gary are out of the game. He now is sharing a bunch of Topaz's secrets with the rest of the house. He says he has a lot of ammunition against her. He even goes so far as to say that he thinks the chances of them being friends outside of the show is about zero.

Meanwhile, Gary has a sad pity party for himself and ponders what he would do if he had to be in the house without Topaz.

East Vs West
Emmett and Andrew chat about some end game plans. Emmett said that Alec and Peter told him that they wouldn't take him to the end. Andrew thought it would be hilarious if him, Emmett and Jillian could make it to the final 3. They are all from the east coast and live in Nova Scotia. Alec and Peter are from the west coast. How funny...east vs west. It's like Westside Story: Jets vs Sharks.

To get some more numbers on their side, Andrew suggests bringing the mountain girl (Talla from Alberta) along. "She'll make us as strong as the Rockies." That would give them 4 against 3 (Peter, Alec and Topaz/Gary). He said, "I don' know if you know math...and I know Talla isn't the best at it, but 4 trumps 3."

Emmett talks to Jillian about the plan and he tells her to get as close as she can with Talla to try to make her feel safe. He said that Peter and Alec are going to be trying to get her on their side. Jillian is on board and told Emmett that she said all along that they should trust Talla.

Veto Competition
The Players: Andrew, Topaz, Gary, Alec, Talla, Peter
The Host: Jillian

The challenge called "Build a Demon" is based on the new movie Evil Dead. The backyard was transformed in a dark and scary graveyard. As host, Jillian had a very sexy outfit on that the boys really enjoyed. Alec said "she could definitely raise the dead and a few other things in that outfit." The challenge was to sift through a mud pit for body parts to put together a complete body AND they're blindfolded AND tied to a rope! The winner will also get to screen the new movie. This gets Peter VERY excited!

Everyone is getting tangled up with the ropes and the mud! That had to be so hard. So, not only can they not see, but the mud is really cold and cold water is falling on them. Geez Big Brother...not making it easy on them at all. A few people find their torsos and an arm and a leg here and there. Topaz thinks she found another left arm, so she tosses it away, and then wonders if maybe it was a right arm. Talla finds what she thinks is a torso, when it really is a small chunk of mud. Haha! She was pretty much just lost for the whole challenge...shocker.

Jillian was really getting into her job as host, as she shouted out things to the people in the mud. She said it was just like being a teacher! "It's exactly what happens in the classroom, except I'm NOT dressed like this, and my children are not looking for body parts in a swamp!"

Poor Peter...he's actually trying and he can't find any body parts. So maybe he hasn't really been throwing other challenges.

It's between Gary and Andrew. Gary has 2 right arms and Andrew is done except for the head! And it's Andrew with the win!

Andrew chooses Talla and Jillian to watch the movie with him. I'm not sure if Talla will be able to contain herself. She's going to be scared for weeks after seeing the movie.

Mt. St. Gary Erupts
What started out as a simple question from Talla to Gary about whether or not he turned off the stove, erupted into a nasty screaming match. Gary responded to her by saying "Can you just not talk to me?" Whoa...totally uncalled for. Someone is not handling being on slop very well and it's making him very moody. Gary says the "shit hit the fan." It was a lot of slamming the table and "don't talk to me like that" and "look at your attitude and get real". He cowered over her and it was like David and Goliath. Emmett stepped in to have her back, but it seems like she was more than capable of handling herself. She's a real spitfire!

Oh the Horror!
Movie time! Talla is screaming before they even sit down. Andrew informs us that he doesn't normally watch horror movies...he's more of a romantic comedy kind of guy. Haha! Poor Andrew, Talla screamed through pretty much the whole movie and I wouldn't be surprised if he has some permanent hearing loss and some bruises to go along with that. She kept smacking his leg!

But, the horror didn't end after the movie was over. Alec decided to have some fun of his own. While Talla was sleeping, he snuck up on her. Surprisingly, she didn't even scream! But she then said she didn't want to sleep by herself. The only other people in the room were Jillian and Emmett and Alec. So, she crawled into bed with Alec, and joked about what would happen if Topaz saw them. And then, lo and behold, who comes into the room. Gary and Topaz. She looks at the beds, puts her hands on her hips and says loudly "Hmmm...Alec and Talla sharing a bed?" Oh boy, here we go...if she even says "you're not getting between me and MY man", I might be sick.

First words out of her mouth "don't raise your voice at me"...as Talla was barely even whispering. "Keep being a slut like you are." Oh, I hate when people clap their hands together as they're screaming.

Topaz says in the DR that it hurt because she had genuine feelings for him. Yeah, I'm not buying that. Just another nasty side of her coming out. She has a real temper problem. Everyone realizes that the showmance is over and this shouldn't even be an issue right? Even if the showmance was on, what's wrong with laying in a bed together with a pillow wall between you? Seriously.

Talla was the bigger person and went to talk to Topaz about it. After cooling down a bit, they did make up.

How strange that Talla was on the receiving end of 2 violent screaming matches from each person on the block this week.

Veto Ceremony
Andrew chooses not to use the Veto...big surprise.

American Idol, Ep. 12.25 & 12.26

It's Rock Week...

Burnell - "You Give Love a Bad Name"
Very different song style for Burnell. It suits him better than last week, that's for sure. And oh look! He's not just standing behind the microphone stand! He kind of missed his cue to start the song, and missed the first word, but other than that, it was really good and I really enjoyed it! It helps that I love that song, but he sang it well and did it justice.
My Score: A-

Angie & Lazaro - "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"
I wasn't so sure about this pairing, but I think they did a good job. Uh oh, looks like Lazaro might have forgotten the words again.
My Score: B+

Kree - "Piece of My Heart"
This song takes a lot of passion and grit to sing well. I think she did a pretty good job with it. It's been done so many times, and I don't really think she did anything fun and unique with it. I think she sounded like a lot of other people who have sung it before. I wasn't blown away, but it was still good.
My Score: A-

Candice & Burnell - "The Letter"
They make a pretty good duo. I was all prepared to not really like this, but I think they did a really good job on a song that I don't really like that much.
My Score: A-

Janelle - "You May Be Right"
Very strange song choice. Not sure if I'm buying it or not. The notes are there, it's just odd. The last phrase that she kind of screamed in a very high pitch was just not right.
My Score: B-

Lazaro - "We Are The Champions"
This is either going to be really good or an epic fail. The song is just way too big for him. His voice sounded good, but I don't think there was any way he could do the song justice. His accent also really stuck out on this song more than others for some reason.
My Score: B-

Amber, Janelle & Kree - "Still Rock and Roll to Me"
All the country accents just don't sound right on songs like this. Amber was really out of her league on this one. Kree and Janelle were much better.
My Score: B

Candice - "I Can't Get No Satisfaction"
Great song choice for her. I think she gets better every week. It's kind of ridiculous how good she is.
My Score: A

Amber - "What About Love"
Wow, this is surprisingly really good! This is her best performance yet! She sang the heck out of that! I think she even beat Candice tonight!
My Score: A+

Angie - "Bring Me To Life"
This is going to be amazing, I just know it! I love this song! I love that she went back to the piano. The only thing I wasn't sure about was if she could bring the gothic intensity that that song requires. She did that. It was amazing! Loved it!
My Score: A+

Survivor, Ep. 26.8

After Tribal - Bikal
Phillip pulls Dawn and Corinne aside and tells them that he threw the challenge. Corinne says that's "the biggest joke of the year." He said he made the decision AT THE CHALLENGE. Corinne: "He's so cuckoo for cocoa puffs that there's no question Phillip has to go."

Dawn's really feeling down because this is about the time when her game fell apart the last time.

Gota
A note is delivered via a boat. They are told to pack up everything to go to a new home. The boat takes them to the Bikal camp. Reunion time!

MERGE!
Time to feast and the new green buffs are passed out. Time to decide on the new tribe name. Malcolm suggests Enil Edam ...secretly because his mom's name is Madeline! Nice one Malcolm! I love it when someone suggests a really random name and gets everyone to go along with it. I think Erik might have done that on his season.

Phillip to Andrea: "Pretend you're Boston Rob".

Corinne is reunited with her bestie Malcolm and she vents to him about how Phillip has treated all of them. Corinne suggests taking out Sherri first because no one would be upset and Malcolm agrees because she's weird. She said that he has no idea how much she's missed him. "Thank God for Malcolm." I agree :)

Immunity Challenge
The clue to the challenge tells them that they are going to be eating gross stuff. Reynold is worried because this is his biggest weakness. Cochran is excited because this could give his love life a boost and give him a wild streak. Ha!

Elimination rounds to get to the final. First 3 to finish move on.

#1: Beetle larva
They're moving all over the plate...yuck! Malcolm: "I'm gonna be sick before I get it in my mouth". Eddie: "Is it going to bite me?" They waste no time throwing those puppies in their mouth. Andrea, Malcolm and Eddie move on! Sherri, Corinne and Erik are out.

#2: Beetle larva
Phillip dry heaves before they start. Reynold is looking good, but it's Cochran, Phillip and Michael moving on. Dawn, Reynold and Brenda are out.

#3: Ship worms
I love Malcolm's look of disbelief at what is on the plate. Cochran is a beast. Malcolm, Eddie and Cochran move on! Phillip, Andrea and Michael are out.

#4: Balut (duck embryos)
Eddie says "Why?" and Probst just shrugs his shoulders. I remember how others struggled with this on other seasons. Eddie: "Mine's still moving." Go Malcolm go! Cochran and Malcolm move on! Eddie kept blowing out some pieces and trying to shove them back down his throat...yuck!

#5: Pig brains
Probst: "David and Goliath". Cochran just edged out Malcolm!!! Whoa! It was so incredibly close. And he dances around like Rocky. He's so happy...good for him.

Cochran said he is a little pipsqueak going up against the golden god of the tribe...and won! "Dream fulfillment."

Phillip wants to do a split vote between Eddie and Reynold. Corinne doesn't want to go after them and she doesn't want to do a split vote.

Reynold is all for voting out Phillip--"Lord Phillip of the High Shelter". Ha! Corinne says just trust me and I'll protect you to Eddie and Reynold. Reynold thinks he's back in business and might actually be a part of a dominant alliance. However, the title of this episode is "Blindside Time". It could very well be talking about his blindside (and not using his idol) and NOT the blindside of Phillip. Reynold tweeted Russell Hantz earlier today and he said that he attended Russell's class on how to find idols, but he missed the one on how to play them. This makes me think that he is the one who will be blindsided tonight. Boo!

Corinne tries to get Dawn to come with her and the fans to go for Sherri. This is exactly what happened to her the last time in the game with Cochran and she didn't say anything. So, she goes right to Cochran with the information. They think now that maybe they should be targeting Corinne. Oh, so is it going to be Corinne who gets blindsided? Whoa...3 possible blindsides, who's it going to be?

Phillip: "Corinne, she's running around telling everybody she's got a coalition out to vote who, The Specialist out of the game, me, Phillip Sheppard! How dare her try to get me out of the game. I'm the one who originally brought her into Stealth-R-Us, and I will not allow Corinne to take control of this game." Phillip tells Sherri that if she votes out Corinne like he says, she will move herself up in the standings. Her problem is that she can't stand Phillip.

Erik is so confused because Malcolm says to vote Sherri and Andrea says to vote out Corinne. He has no idea what he's going to do! Oh boy! Lots of people are going to be shocked with this vote.

Tribal Council
Sherri said she doesn't think the fans have a shot. Reynold doesn't think the vote will be all that shocking tonight.

The Vote
7 votes Corinne 5 votes Sherri

Corinne is voted out! Lots of shocked faces. So, it wasn't Reynold tonight, but something tells me that he's going home with that idol as a souvenir. He's just cocky enough to not play it when he needs to. He did already play it once, but it turned out he didn't need to. So, this time, he may second guess himself and whether or not he actually needs to play it.

I'm not liking that Malcolm is on the losing side of this vote. I hope the previews for next week work out for him. It looks like he's ready to make a big move.

The Voice, Ep. 4.4

Team Adam
Patrick Dodd - I've never liked "Walking in Memphis" but he has a decent voice. It's very gravely. His dread locks are an interesting look.

Agina Alvarez

Team Blake
Trevor Davis

Savannah Berry - Oh, I really like her voice! Really beautiful tone. She has a lot of control and an amazing vibrato. Holy cow, and she's only 17!

Team Shakira
Brandon Roush - This guy is really good! Nice to see a rocker, and he's killing it! Incredible! I can't believe Shakira is the only one to turn around!

C Perkins

Team Usher
Audrey Karrasch - Wow, right off the bat, I can tell she's amazing. The coaches also heard it right away as well. She has a lot of confidence and her pitch is spot-on. She has a really cool tone and scratchiness to her voice. Love her! And she seems like a really fun girl as well.

Orlando Dixon - I'm not impressed at all with this guy. He sounds like a million other mediocre singers. Nothing special about him at all. Usher pushed his button at the very last second...I really wish he wouldn't have. I don't know what he heard that made him want to push his button.

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 16.5 & 16.6

It's Prom Night! This should be a very fun evening!

Aly & Mark - Viennese Waltz
OK, so the beginning of this dance looked Contemporary. Interesting choice. I liked it, but Len probably will not. She looked very graceful and beautiful. Very nice job. Whoa, Len pulls an April Fools, and got every one! I thought I was going to be right about him not liking it.
Judges' Scores: 23

Andy & Sharna - Cha Cha
I love the characters that he plays! The funny thing is that he's actually a good dancer, so he doesn't have to rely on the goofiness...that's just an added bonus. Sure he looks a bit strange and awkward, but in a good way! Loved the ripped open shirt at the end! LOL!
Judges' Scores: 18

Ingo & Kym - Paso Doble
Whoa, he looks good in those tight black pants and that sleeveless shirt that shows off all his bulging muscles! Great song, too! He definitely has the intensity you need to pull off a good Paso Doble. Loved it! Great job Ingo!
Judges' Scores: 21

Lisa & Gleb - Viennese Waltz
I think she did a pretty good job. It was pretty boring, but the Viennese Waltz often is.
Judges' Scores: 21

Kellie & Derek - Jive
Whoa! Cool opening Derek! He SLID down the entire staircase! Great song: Footloose! The whole thing was just awesome, as only Derek can put together. And Kellie is just simply amazing for being able to keep up with him and look like a pro the whole time.
Judges' Scores: 25

Victor & Lindsay - Contemporary
I wasn't sure if he would be able to pull off this style or not. The lifts were really good. He was a little shaky on the last spin, but overall, it was a really nice performance.
Judges' Scores: 23

D.L. & Cheryl - Salsa
I'm not sure if I'm ready to see this or not...it could be scary. So the dance is about 1/2 over and they have barely moved. Very clever Cheryl, have him spend most of the dance just moving his upper half because his bottom half can't quite handle it. That was just kind of pathetic.
Judges' Scores: 16

Jacoby & Karina - Rumba
Pulling off some romance is going to be VERY tough for him, I think. Perfect song: "Stay" by Rihanna...love it! He's actually doing it! He looks like he's got some goofy faces, but the moves are all there.
Judges' Scores: 24

Wynonna & Tony - Samba
Love "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard. But oh boy, Tony is teaching her some pole dancing, and Tony is rocking the 80s hair! Wow! I have NEVER seen Tony go so all out in a character before! I'm too busy looking at him, and I'm forgetting to watch her dance. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of dancing going on, especially at the end. She's barely moving. Kind of painful to watch.
Judges' Scores: 15

Sean & Peta - Cha Cha
This YMCA is going to be fun, I can tell. Whoa, Sean is looking mighty fine in those overalls! This is awesome! So much fun! I hope there was enough Cha Cha to make the judges happy.
Judges' Scores: 21

Zendaya & Val - Viennese Waltz
She is so elegant and graceful beyond her years. Very beautiful dance.
Judges' Scores: 24

The Results:

The Voice, Ep. 4.3

Team Adam
Karina Iglesias - Some of her notes are falling a little flat. She has a lot of power and grit.

Duncan Kamakana

Warren Stone - Wow, I was really bored by him for most of the song, but then at the end he came alive. For country, he does have a good voice.

Team Blake
The Swon Brothers - They're good, but I'm not blown away for some reason, not really sure why.

Holly Tucker - I'm a little surprised the coaches all turned around so quickly. She's definitely really good, but she isn't the best I've heard.

Team Shakira
Garrett Gardner - Much better song choice for him this time around. He didn't get any chairs to turn last year. I love the twist that he put on "7 Nation Army" by The White Stripes...very cool. He seems like such a genuine guy. Happy he made it this time!

J'Sun

Monique Abbadie - She is amazing! She killed Shakira's song, and she even sounded like her in certain spots. She has a real attitude and great stage presence. Loved it!

Team Usher
Taylor Beckham - Oh I hate this song! And I hate what she is doing to it...it's even worse than the original. Just based on voice, I think she's good, but the song is absolutely awful.

Chelsea M

Michelle Chamuel - Such an incredibly unique voice. Her look and voice do NOT match! I liked it!

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.15

I think some very crazy things are about to happen. When they shut off the live feeds, you know something is up. The live feeds have been down for a few days. I'm not sure if I'm ready for this...I don't want to lose someone I like because of Topaz's stupidity...

Host Arisa informs us that Topaz is going to have to make her nominations immediately! She has been sequestered, and will have 5 minutes to decide on 2 nominees...with no discussion with anyone else! She is NOT the person I want to be making this decision in a short amount of time and with no help from anyone else. Twist: the house is watching her make her decision (and she doesn't know it).

Topaz's Deliberation
The houseguests are seeing everything! She is talking out loud to herself, and they HEAR everything! She spills her strategies, who she wants to work with, who she thinks the house wants out, who her target is. Wow...so much information everyone is learning right now! Alec looks mortified.

Instant Nominations: AJ and Andrew
Arisa asks why she chooses them. She said she doesn't have strong ties with Andrew, but she does with AJ. Earlier in her deliberation, she said that if she would put these 2 up, she would want the house to get rid of Andrew and not AJ. She again names AJ as not a threat, but as a pawn. She then says if Andrew would win Veto, she would backdoor someone, "a stronger player perhaps."

Instant Eviction
Everyone walks into the DR, breathless, shocked, stunned and bewildered. They all are on the verge of breaking down. Wow...they don't know what just hit them, and that they have to make this decision.

Emmett--AJ
Gary--Andrew
Peter--AJ
Talla--Andrew
Alec--AJ ("Topaz why did you do this? How am I going to get myself out of this one?")
Jillian--AJ

With a vote of 4-2, AJ is EVICTED and becomes the first member of the jury. Holy crap! He went from being the pawn, to being evicted. It was bound to happen at some point. I just never thought he would go instead of Andrew. Everyone has been talking about trying to get Andrew out and how AJ wasn't a threat. When did they change their minds? So, Topaz, how did your plan work for you? Not to good, huh?!

Poor AJ, he didn't even have a chance to fight for Veto. I'm going to miss him and his bromance with Andrew, he was so much fun to watch.

AJ Interview
He definitely took the eviction well. He thinks that Topaz wasted her HOH. He hopes Andrew will win the game, but thinks Jillian will win. He thinks things are going to be bad for Topaz because of everything the house heard. I would agree with that.

The Aftermath
Topaz tries to back-pedal about what she said during her deliberation. She claims she doesn't remember what she said. Andrew said that she said he was her target. She says "I never said that." Um, Topaz...even if you don't remember what you said, there is a whole house of people who do, and you said it...you can't change that, so stop lying and own up to it!

Then, Topaz has the nerve to be mad at Alec and Peter because they chose to go against her wishes and vote for AJ instead of Andrew. What?! Are you serious, woman? Oh my gosh. She thinks that they were totally selfish and did it just for them. Well, news to her, but she doesn't have the best game. Alec and Peter absolutely know what they're doing and they have (had) a plan. She has just been along for the ride. She should be thanking Alec, because, even though he's pissed at her, he's still probably going to do some damage control and try to protect her. I sincerely hope that she goes next because she is just a liability. It looks like the showmance is officially over after their argument. So, Gary swoops in to be her defender and make her feel better.

Alec then decides to play up the whole break-up and make people think that he's upset about it. And to Topaz, he is "faking" that he wants to get back together with him. She chooses to ignore him...like a child.

HOH Competition
They had to guess which evicted houseguests said what. It came down to a tie-breaker between Andrew and Talla. Talla gets so close again, but it's Andrew! They had to guess how many balls were used in the "Bees Knees" challenge. He low-balled his guess because he thought she would either write down 17,000 or 4...ha! The answer was 968 and he guessed 300, while she guessed 145. Good job Andrew! He didn't get to enjoy any of the perks the last time he won, so I'm glad he gets to this time.

Andrew then had to choose 4 have-nots. He tried to be as diplomatic about it as possible, and I think he did a good job. His first choice was Emmett--he told him he had a Slop Pass, so he might as well use it. Peter then asked if Topaz was eligible, so he chose her. He asked Peter how many times he had been on slop, and Peter just said he would do it. And finally, he chose Gary because he has NEVER been on slop yet. And Gary had the nerve to get pissed about it! Take it like a man Gary, seriously. "I don't want to see me fall apart on slop." And then he starts crying, and then he runs into the house sobbing like a little baby! Emmett said he was acting like a little kid in a store who couldn't get his fruit loops...hahaha! I wonder if Gary knows how ridiculous he just looked.

Jillian said that she hoped he was joking and then did a great impression of him like dry heaving on the toilet, which is basically what he was doing. Gary said "I just don't know how to do it with my body type." Seriously? Oh my gosh. Emmett had a good one, he said "I thought you wanted to slim down any way." I have never heard anyone cry like him before, that was just odd.

Andrew's HOH Room
His room is vampire theme! Ha!

Nomination Ceremony
Andrew nominates: Topaz and Gary

Woohoo Andrew! "I must avenge AJ." Topaz is up because she targeted him in the instant eviction and because of it, his best friend left the house. Gary is nominated because he voted with Topaz, and he didn't want him to be able to win the Veto and take Topaz off the block.

Topaz: "The fact that I'm up on the block, even though Andrew is supposed to be loyal to Alec, speaks volumes. Honestly, I blame Alec like 110%." Wow. How this became his fault is beyond me. That is just ridiculousness! Thankfully, Alec is so ready so cut ties with her that he wants her gone.

But, just when you believe Andrew that his target is Topaz, he reveals to the audience that since Gary told him to make a big move, that that's what he's doing and his move is to get GARY out of the house. Make up your mind Andrew!

This episode was just pure craziness, and that's just one reason why I LOVE THIS SHOW!

Celebrity Apprentice, Ep. 13.5

The Task
The teams are to make 15 3-D pieces of artwork to sell.

Team Power
Project Manager: Lil' Jon

Trump moves Trace from Plan B because Power is down a couple players. Trace is not happy. He's the one that put together the dominating team and now he's on the losing team.

Dennis all of the sudden shows some creativity in creating his pieces. He somehow incorporates a signed Derek Jeter bats.

Chaz Dean buys 4 pieces for a total of $80,000! One of them was his best pieces, which he was hoping to sell for a lot of money. Now he doesn't get credit for that one.

Team Plan B
Project Manager: Lisa

The team is worried about Stephen from the start. They don't think that he will bring in any money. Trace was their guy for big donations, and now he's on the other team.

Gary gets violent with a piece of clay. "Art is life. Life is art." He's going nuts...he's singing about his art...it was crazy. Something about "art is only the search, it's not the final form.". It made absolutely no sense. He comes up with a piece called "Mr. Hang Brain". He had too many quotes in a span of a couple minutes, I couldn't get them all. Mr. Hang Brain ended up selling for $25,000 (but it's Marilu's contact, not Gary's).

Lil' Jon did NOT let Omarosa be in charge of the money this time.

Blue Man Group brings another crappy donation. Last season they blew their money all around and they had to try to collect it all. This time they put tiny folded triangles of money inside big jell-o molds that they had to dig it out.

The Boardroom
Team Power: $179,500
Team Plan B: $225,000

It was close, but Team Power loses another one. Will Lil' Jon be afraid of Omarosa too? I sure hope not. With Piers in the boardroom, he can't afford not to bring her back. Piers will rip her to shreds...there's no way he's letting Trump fire anyone but her.

The consensus is that those who raised the least should be brought back. That would be Dennis and Omarosa. She only brought in $2,000 more than he did. But, Piers argued that Dennis's art was creative and worth more than the $5,000 it sold for. He said what she made was worthless. Omarosa argued that Lil' Jon should be fired because he's the PM. But he raised $80,000...how can you fire someone who raised that much?

Lil' Jon smartly does not shy away from bringing Omarosa back. It is long overdue. I think in this case it is going to be very hard to fire Lil' Jon, so it's either going to be Dennis or Omarosa.

As they re-enter the boardroom, Dennis shouts "The good, the bad and the ugly." haha!

When asked who he would like to move forward with, Lil' Jon said Dennis. He respects how he came back to play this time and he's worked hard. He also said he worked harder than Omarosa because he got the Derek Jeter bat.

Dennis is fired up! You go Dennis! He is FIGHTING to get that woman fired! Lil' Jon just laughs...haha

And...here it comes..."Omarosa, you're fired!" Ding dong, the witch is dead, the wicked witch, the wicked witch. Ding dong the wicked witch is dead." (Oddly enough, The Wizard of Oz was just on tonight)

Amazing Race, Ep. 22.7

7th Leg: Botswana
Bates/Anthony lead it off.

Caroline/Jennifer get pulled over by he police for speeding! They try their best to sweet talk and flirt their way out the ticket, but it didn't work and they have to go to the police station to pay the fine (equivalent of about $100). Bummer. They get to the police station, but they don't take US dollars, and they aren't allowed to leave the station to exchange the money. So, they find a guy who will hopefully do it for them...they just have to trust that he will come back and not take off with their money. Lots of wasted time for them and money lost...not looking good for them. Their lucky, their guy did return and they paid their fine.

Bates/Anthony choose to go for the Fast Forward to skip all additional tasks. They have to both water ski for 1 mile in water that has a warning for crocodiles. Yikes! That water is absolutely gross! I would not get in that water. They collide on the start, but they recover and complete the task! They can now go directly to the pitstop.

Uh-oh Max/Katie get nailed in the speed trap. They do not need this in addition to their Speed Bump. And THEN, after paying their fine, Max backs up into  a pole! Oh my...this is not going well for them.

Meanwhile, Joey/Meghan are just driving around lost.

Road Block
They have to take baby goats in a very rickety canoe that looks like it's hand-made. Those goats are so cute! Chuck/Wynona were having so much trouble catching the goats and getting them to stay in the canoe. They're country folk...they should have some experience with animals.

Mona/Beth can't seem to figure out how to steer their canoe and they spend a lot of the time in the reeds and going the wrong way. Lots and lots of arguing going on in that canoe.

Somehow Caroline/Jennifer make up a lot of time and are in the water at the same time as Chuck/Wynona and Mona/Beth. Joey/Meghan still have not found where they are supposed to be.

Speed Bump
They have to put on an outfit and do a dance. They complete it without too much trouble.

Detour: Brains or Brawn (Horse or Donkey)
The donkeys are too stubborn for Pam/Winnie, so they switch Detours. Caroline/Jennifer and Mona/Beth don't seem to have too much trouble with their donkeys and they finish about the same time.

Chuck/Wynona make up a song, to remember the 10 animals they need to memorize and make quick work of the Detour. Pam/Winnie make a mistake and have to go all the way back to the beginning.

Joey/Meghan get some stubborn donkeys, and Max/Katie take the lead. Somehow Meghan/Joey get their donkey cart wrapped around a tree! How the heck did they do that? Now their plowing right through a tree...they are out of control!

Pam/Winnie are wrong again! They decide to go BACK to the donkeys!

Pitstop #7
#1: Bates/Anthony
#2: Mona/Beth
#3: Caroline/Jennifer
#4: Chuck/Wynona
#5: Meghan/Joey
#6: Max/Katie
#7--ELIMINATED--Pam/Winnie

That was a very surprising ending! Pam/Winnie started off the leg in 2nd place. Max/Katie had the Speed Bump and the speeding ticket! Meghan/Joey were lost for half the race! You just never know what's going to happen.

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.14

Emmett Confronts Suzette
Emmett wanted to make sure that Suzette knew that he wasn't trying to be mean to her, and that he was just stating what the whole house was thinking. Suzette seemed shocked that the house could feel this way, and no one had the guts to talk to her about it. She said she felt humiliated by him doing it in front of everyone. He said that he was hoping this would make her take a look at the way she was playing the game, and make some changes. She continued to deny that she ever tried to make anyone feel guilty by talking about herself. Wow. Can anyone say 'denial'? She has no clue. At this point, she says that she's just ready to go home. Let's hope the house makes that happen.

The Topaz Tornado
Topaz was napping in the HOH room and had Alec's headphones on. Big Brother was trying to wake her up by buzzing a loud alarm. She slept through it. It kept going off...she kept sleeping. Downstairs, everyone hears it, and Peter had some nice commentary: "The Topaz sleeping alarm, brought to you by Big Brother. Bringing you the best in wake-up calls, each and every day...multiple times." Everyone was getting so annoyed by the alarm. Andrew even said that if he won HOH, he would put her on the block for it. Finally, Alec goes upstairs, and she looks like she's awake now, and just pretending that she can't hear the alarm. Big Brother told Alec to take the headphones to the Diary Room. He now has no music for the rest of the week thanks to Topaz. If I was him, I would be ticked off!

Alec then went to talk to her about it, and he was expecting an apology. But nope...in classic rebel Topaz fashion, she just went off on how stupid that was and "F*** you Big Brother". He got no apology and she didn't even seem to care. Poor Alec. I think he needs to put the kibosh on this showmance. She's not worth it, and she is just dead weight that he's carrying around.

Alec had a guy talk with Emmett and Peter and told them about what happened. He said he's starting to see the kind of person that she is and that she's not really his "kind of person". Finally! I never did see what they had in common. It was all just physical. He said, "And now I have to sleep with this person for another week." He actually brings up the possibility of trying to get her out, even as soon as next week! The only problem is that it does benefit them to have her and Gary stick around for awhile. Alec assures us that no matter what, "The Shield" will remain strong".

Then Topaz talked to Gary, and SHE had the nerve to talk bad about Alec about how he made her mad! Seriously, woman?!

She then realizes that she needs to make nice, and she "throws down the towel" and apologizes to him. She makes it sound like she thinks she did nothing wrong and that she shouldn't even have to be apologizing. Just who does she think she is?

They are both now just going through the showmance for appearances. Neither of them really want to continue it, but they are trying to make the other believe that nothing has changed. Alec said: "The best possible scenario is to just put a bandaid on it, forget about it completely, and just continue on with the loveless, showmantic sham."

Double Date Night with Suzette & AJ
Because Suzette and AJ were on the block together, Big Brother wanted them to have a date night (weird...not sure what that's all about). They were to pick 2 other people to join them. The catch? They had to be 2 people who were not currently in a showmance. They chose Talla and Peter. The rest of the house had to play other parts. The maître d was Emmett. Alec was the waiter. Jillian was the chef, with Andrew being her sous-chef. Gary and Topaz were the entertainment.

Talla was super excited, while Peter was not excited at all. "I don't really like the process of dating, and I really loathe the process of eating." So, to entertain himself and help him get through the evening, he decided to make it into a dinner theater and he started playing a part. He pretended that he was married to Talla (not sure how this would make things better, but OK). Suzette and AJ also pretended that they were married. Suzette liked this idea a little more than AJ.

Alec played the part of the waiter very well, and he broke out his fabulous French accent again, and took on the character of Ricardo. And then Ricardo (Alec) and Jacques (Emmett) took it to another level, and turned into Chippendales!

Peter has very picky eating habits and he has no interest in trying the "revolting" looking steak and lobster, so he orders a potato. He then jokes that he's seen Ricardo somewhere before.

Talla complains that her steak isn't done to her liking, while Andrew chases Jillian around the kitchen with a lobster. Craziness! And then Jillian struggled with having to "murder" the lobsters, so she turned that task over to Andrew.

Surprisingly, none of the dinner guests knew how to properly shell a lobster, so Jillian gave them a table-side tutorial...as AJ, Talla and Peter looked on with disgust.

And then it was time for the entertainment. Gary and Topaz were solo rappers who came together for the night's performance. Topaz's stage name was TZ and Gary was GG, and together they were The Glitter Army. They performed their #1 single "The Sensual Dessert". They actually sounded better when they were rehearsing in the dressing room. During the performance, it was just a lot of sexual moaning sounds. Talla burps and Peter says "And you wonder why I never take you anywhere."

Since Suzette and AJ got a lovely dinner, the other houseguests got a piñata (who comes up with this stuff?). Alec got the killing blow, and the candy came spewing out. Gary picked up a golden ticket that fell out. The ticket gave him he power to replace a player in the next Veto competition.

Eviction Ceremony
Emmett -- Suzette
Topaz -- Suzette
Andrew -- Suzette
Gary -- AJ
Jillian -- Suzette
Peter -- Suzette
Talla -- Suzette

By a vote of 6-1, sobby Suzette is evicted from the house!!!! Who knew she would take being evicted so well? Heaven knows she didn't handle being on the block 3 times that well.

HOH Competition: Before or After
It comes down to Talla and Topaz! Whoa...who saw that coming? Not me. And Topaz is the winner! So the HOH room goes from one half of the fake showmance to the other. Topaz should let Alec have her headphones for the entire week after what she did this week.

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.13

Suzette Sob Story
"I don't know when I became the biggest threat in the house man." "No matter what I do, I'll always be the odd man out." "What do I gotta do man?" "I just don't get it man." ""No one's picking off strong players." "I got 3 kids at home." Wha Wha Wha...somebody needs a whambulance! It is so time for her to go!

Emmett says that every conversation, no matter what they're talking about always comes back to her. She wants everyone to just feel sorry for her ALL THE TIME. Enough already! Like Emmett said, he's not there to help someone else win the money, no matter how sad their situation is at home.

Suzette asked Gary if he would use the Veto on her...he's conflicted.

Alec & Peter = The New Chilltown
The Shield is running the house and they are having fun. Alec impersonates Peter, and Peter impersonates Alec...good times! Reminiscent of Will and Mike Boogey.

Wax On / Wax Off
Topaz needed waxed, so Talla came to her rescue...except it sounded like she was killing her, or she was giving birth or something else horrific was happening. Meanwhile, Gary starts dancing around the room. Topaz is worried that Gary may come out as straight, and then there's gonna be some problems because he saw her...you know...

POV Competition
Players: Alec, Suzette, AJ, Gary, Jillian, Emmett
Host: Peter

The challenge: Stand under a roof with rain (COLD rain) pouring down. They have to catch the rain in a can that is on their head (which had holes in it), and then transfer the water into a tube. The first one to fill it to the top wins.

Can I just say that Peter did an awesome job announcing the competition as a southern hillbilly. And he had really great comments throughout the entire competition. Can he host every competition, please?

Some of Peter's gems:

  • "Everyone's doing marginal."
  • "Alec seems to be breathing heavy into Jillian's neck, that's awkward."
  • "Jillian almost put her whole head in there, almost falls."
  • "Jillian going crazy."
  • "Suzette banging her head against it, that's not gonna help anybody out."
  • "Gary is in a trance."
  • "Everyone's doing great, AJ's doing adequate."
  • "AJ finally back, and oh he misses the whole thing!"
  • "And they're making out ladies and gentlemen!"

Suzette was completely lost! She kept her head tilted to the side, and was getting absolutely NO water in her can! She admitted that she had no strategy and she was basically relying on Gary to win and take her off the block. Can't she do anything for herself? AJ wasn't doing much better. Andrew said AJ had no chance to win unless it was against Suzette, but even then he'd still probably lose. I'm sure AJ appreciates his support.

It pretty much came down to Emmett and Gary the whole way. And it's Emmett with the win!

Marsha The Moose
Marsha talks to AJ! Woohoo! Welcome back Marsha!

AJ has a mission: tell 2 houseguests that he wants to turn his obstacle course workout into a fitness DVD when he leaves the house. They have to help him come up with a name, and they have to participate in the obstacle course for at least 10 minutes. He can't tell anyone and if anyone quits early, he loses and has to tell the house he's a failure.

So, he sets off on his mission and begins pitching the idea to different people around the house. Andrew's reaction after AJ asked if he thought he could make a living doing it was great: "I think you'll be a very poor man." He got Talla and Topaz to participate. They tossed around some names like, "AJ's Obstacles" and "AJ's Obstacles of Life". But he goes with "High Intensity Integer Training." ????

AJ goes through the obstacle first to show them how to do it. Alec asks what the correct form is, and AJ says "it doesn't matter, my form is the correct form". Andrew then joins the crowd, he's drinking some water and Alec informs him that "form doesn't matter" and Andrew spits his water out as he laughs! That was great! AJ "always jogging, never running." "Take your time. Walk if you must."

Andrew begins the obstacle course, and he's working the weights. AJ tells him he's doing it too fast, and Andrew says "I'm going to hit you in the face with this." Andrew said "AJ's my man, so he asked me to do something so I gotta say yes, I gotta make him smile, because most of the time, I'm making him cry."

Andrew is always so great for quotes, here's another one: "It will be a cold day in Hell when AJ puts out a workout video, or a self-help video. Maybe this is a 'how to redecorate your lonely desperate basement' video, that might sell."

Talla: "I don't know why I just participated in that."
Andrew: "You are definitely the king of the douchebags, and I hate you."
Topaz: "AJ is the worst trainer of all time."

AJ was successful!! He actually got 3 people to do the obstacle course for 10 minutes. Good job AJ! The reward he won for the house was a summertime pool party and barbecue.

AJ was flirting a little bit with Marsha and he told her that she had pretty eyes. Marsha later said that AJ was cute, but she missed Peter. Ha!

The Pool Party
Talla gets hammered and she unleashes herself on Topaz. So weird! Then she went in the DR and practically passed out on the chair. "I think I'm drunk."

POV Ceremony
AJ doesn't want to continue to be the "Pawn Star" and he's tired of the "heat of the seat."

Emmett weighs his options. 1. Suzette is annoying and is driving him insane (a few too many "Heeeey Booys".) 2. Suzette can't talk about anything but herself in hopes of making everyone feel guilty.

Time for the speeches: AJ does an Indian accent and says "Why not me." Suzette cries and says that she hopes that Emmett could show as much grace as Canada did when they saved her.

Emmett quickly says he is not going to use the Veto (no surprise). But the ceremony didn't end there! In a POV Ceremony first, Emmett addresses the nominees. He tells AJ that he has proven himself to be a physical and mental competitor. He tells Suzette that even though she has a knee injury, she has shown that she hasn't given up and is continuing to fight. "HOWEVER", and it was a big however. He says that he doesn't respect aspects of her game. He said every time she talks to any of them it always comes back to her and she tries to make them feel guilty about her circumstances. He then addressed the house and said "If you're here, you're a threat." Wow.
