The night is finally here! The world's worst kept secret will be revealed: who will Sean choose? Hmm...I wonder...
The show is "live"...well, sort of...Chris Harrison is live with the audience as we watch the girls meet Sean's family and their last dates. Chris says that there is a big announcement regarding Sean that they just found out about this week. Oh let me guess...Sean is going to be on Dancing with the Stars? Yeah, Reality Steve broke that news on 2/26, which is more than just a week ago. Nice try for thinking that this is "breaking" news.
Home Visit: Catherine
The first thing I noticed was how serious Catherine was! She's always joking and laughing, and everything was very serious. She did a very good job convincing Mom of her feelings. She was very articulate and had some really good answers. Yet another side of Catherine we haven't seen before. She told his Dad that she was "consumed by him". Wow. Dad had some good questions and she handled them very well. And he made her cry when he said that if she was the one that he was going to love her like a daughter. I know that had to mean so much to her because of not having her father growing up. The family liked her so much that they told Sean to leave instead of her.
Home Visit: Lindsay
Lindsay was so much more giggly than Catherine. The vibe was so different with Lindsay than with Catherine. Oh no, more waterworks...Dad did it again...made Lindsay cry too! He said when Sean was born that he and his wife began praying for his wife. Aw...and then...she asked him for Sean's hand in marriage! Totally caught Dad off guard. At this point the race is still close, but the edge might go to Lindsay.
Who Do The Parents Like
Complete shocker! They love them both! Wow, that's never happened before. Sean was hoping his parents could give him clarity. Gee, no Bachelor/Bachelorette has said that. More crying...this time Sean made his Mom cry! She's worried that he'll make a decision before he's really sure.
Final Date: Lindsay
Lots of laughing as they take a very leisurely boat ride down the river. He says he thinks she'll be a "hot old chick". Um...ok.
At the end of the night, she had a surprise for him: they wrote wishes on lanterns and then released them. He said that in that moment, he felt like she was the one for him.
Final Date: Catherine
How cool...they get to ride an elephant! To say Catherine was excited was an understatement.
At dinner, she finally tells him exactly how she feels, which was really hard for her. She said "I love you" and was hoping to see a sign in his eyes that gave her some kind of sign that he was feeling the same. But, she said she didn't. He left and she went after him, and she just looked so defeated, as she threw herself down on the bed and cried.
The Big Day
Lindsay's out of the limo first, xo there you have your answer...Catherine is Sean's choice! (Over the years, they've fooled us a couple of times (or maybe only once) by having the "winner" come first, but that hasn't happened in years.) And, Reality Steve was right again...he outed Catherine as Sean's choice on Nov. 26. It's so much less stressful to watch when you know what's going to happen, I've gotta say.
Any way, back to the action...
Sean's really having a hard time because he doesn't want to hurt Lindsay. He doesn't have a reason to give her. It's about to get even tougher because she truly thinks that she's about to get engaged and this is the best day of her life. She's about to find out that she is very wrong. (Side note: was it planned that Lindsay is wearing silver and comes in 2nd and Catherine will be wearing gold and she came in 1st???)
He told her that as of yesterday he didn't know what he was going to do, but now he has clarity and his heart is leading him in a different direction. He said it was the hardest thing he has ever had to do, and he knows that he does love her. Sean...only making it worse here. She was holding it together pretty well until he started crying. She just kept saying "it's ok". She then said that she was going to go because it was very painful and that it was her worst nightmare-never saw it coming. You have to feel bad for her, that's gotta be so incredibly painful. Her limo ride was very emotional to say the least. The hardest thing to hear was when she said she thought she had it, but now someone else does.
Before Catherine's limo arrives, Sean receives a letter from Catherine. The live crowd groans in shock, as the camera edit makes it look like maybe Catherine is having doubts. Oh the suspense! Basically, the letter was all good. She said she loved meeting his family, and that she loves him.
As Sean was leading up to the proposal, she looked like she was going to faint. Now THAT would be the most dramatic rose ceremony ever! As much as Lindsay was surprised it WASN'T her, I think Catherine was just as surprised that it WAS her! And in a Bachelor first, they were taken away on top of an elephant, and they rode off into the sunset...a perfect end to their story. I gotta say they quite possibly look more happy than any final couple.
After The Final Rose
The new Bachelorette will be revealed...let me save you the trouble Chris, it's Desiree (thanks again to Reality Steve).
Lindsay returns. Unfortunately, Sean isn't able to give her any better answers, and you can tell she is still very emotional.
Then it's Catherine's turn. They are obviously still very happy together...for now. We all know the track record is not great, and it's not even good at all. But, who knows...they could be one of the lucky ones.
And finally, after talking about it the whole show, THE NEWS! (but wait, we need to see the proposal again, cue more tears from everyone) -- The wedding will be on TV! They don't have a date yet, but Catherine doesn't want to wait, and if it was up to Sean they'd just go to the courthouse. Chris threatened to do it right there because he is ordained...now THAT would be quite the ending!

Celebrity Apprentice, Ep. 13.2
The teams will be flown to Orlando, Florida on Trump's private jet to get their task there.
The task is to create an interactive photo experience for Universal.
Plan B
The team will be without Trace for this task because he has a prior commitment. Dee steps up as Project Manager.
Penn starts taking over, even though he's not the PM, and thinks they need to go with a magical/magician theme.
Gary says he's good with a camera, and he immediately has no idea what he's doing...big surprise! Buseyism: "FUN=Finally Understanding Nothing; because when you have nothing in your mind, everything you do will be extremely fun". Gary, Dee, Lisa, Stephen and Marilu all go out to get pictures. Gary dons a Cat in the Hat hat and Penn puts on a Harry Potter hat, and craziness ensues.
Dee decides to scrap Penn's magician ideas and go with life-size cut-outs of each of them as characters. Penn was obviously pretty displeased with this idea. And he continued to make his opinion known....to everyone.
The day of the event, Gary went crazy! He was wearing a Cat in the Hat hat, but he was saying he was the Tickle Monster and was tickling everyone during their pictures. Let's just say it was a little creepy.
Team Power
Project Manager is Omarosa. Let me just say I'm hoping they lose so she can be fired please! She starts her reign of terror by throwing Dennis under the bus in their meeting with the executives. Omarosa: "Dennis has a question for you." Dennis: "I do?" Wow.
Lil' Jon, Brande and Claudia are sent out to take pictures. When they come back they see that Omarosa has included Spiderman stuff in her graphics and they didn't get any photos of that. They had agreed on Harry Potter and Despicable Me.
Omarosa starts freaking out when the crew tells her they are running out of time and they may not be able to do 3D. I would not want to be them right now.
On day 2, they arrive and there's a lot to do. Their globe isn't painted, they have to design the entrance, and it's just chaos. 2 members of the team had to leave to get the Spiderman pictures that they didn't get the day before. Dennis's job: holding an umbrella. She put LaToya in charge of the Spiderman section, but gave her nothing but a web to put in it...basically setting her up to fail.
Their idea was to create 3 separate booths that had 3D backgrounds and the guests put on costumes and got their picture taken in each section.
The Boardroom
Both teams think they won, no surprise there.
Winning Team: Team Power
Darn it...I so wanted her to lose! She wins, and then she completely breaks down...not completely sure why, but I think it's because she was playing for a charity for her boyfriend, Michael Clark Duncan, who passed away.
My initial thoughts are that Stephen and Gary are in big trouble. Stephen didn't win any fans last task when he basically refused to fund raise to save his contacts for his own task. Then this task, he told Dee that he agreed with what they were doing. And for some reason, this really bothered Dee and he said he doesn't want someone like that on his team. Gary, as always was a distraction, so that is always a factor in not winning, but also fear in going forward and wanting to keep the team strong. Of course, Dee was PM, so a lot of this falls in his lap. He vetoed Penn's idea which probably would have improved their presentation quite a bit.
Trump asked Dee if Penn should be fired because he didn't fight for his idea. Seconds later, Trump uttered his famous words: "Penn, 'you're fired'"! Jaws drop! But...he's only kidding! What a fakeout! This was Trump's 2nd fakeout of the night. He told Team Plan B: "Dee, congratulations! ...you lost!"
Dee brings back Stephen and Gary; Stephen because he doesn't trust him and Gary because he has a limited skillset.

Most interesting clue reveal ever: feed coconuts to monkeys...they peel off the shell to reveal your clue. Some monkeys worked faster than others. They were so cute!
Detour: Sandy Bottom or Fruity Top
Sandy Bottom--collect sand from the bottom of the river and transport it 200 yards. Most teams don't choose this task for obvious reasons.
Fruity Top--teams have to assemble a fruit tower that matches a sample exactly.
John/Jess really struggled with this challenge and decided to switch to the Sandy Bottom challenge. They really, really fell behind. All the other teams made it to the Road Block before them.
Road Block: Find a Surfboard
Dave/Connor didn't get there first, but somehow Connor found the the surfboard first and they got to the mat before Pam/Winnie. What an accomplishment for them.
Caroline/Jennifer got the wrong surfboard twice and had to go back and keep looking, and even though they still didn't know what the guy on the surfboard meant...they had the right one! They didn't realize that was the priest from a previous pitstop.
Meghan/Joey went to the wrong beach. Mona/Beth also get it wrong, but Meghan/Joey show them the board they should be looking for because they are in an alliance.
Chuck/Wynona get it wrong, and he got lost on his way back from the surf shop with the board and he lost a lot of time. However, it didn't matter, because the one and only team behind them (Jess/John) was having absolutely no luck.
Jessica/John have the Express Pass but don't use it! Are you kidding me? It's now dark out and he's trying to look for the board with his headlamp on. He didn't see the logic of using the Express Pass at that point. He thought that there was a team behind him or that maybe someone didn't recognize something correctly. So...that means they are the first team in the history of The Amazing Race to go home with an Express Pass in their pocket. How disappointing. And all Phil can say is "Oy vey."

The Voice Season 4
Season 4 of The Voice starts in 15 days (March 25)! This is the first season to feature some different coaches. Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo are taking this season off to work on other projects (which is fine by me). I have grown very tired of Christina: her annoying comments, constant fighting with Blake and Adam, and most of all her lack of talent recognition and incessant need to only pick girls for her team. Rumor has it that they will be coming back in future seasons, though. Taking their place will be Shakira and Usher. I think it will be really nice to get some new perspectives on the panel. It will be fun to see the new rivalries between them.
Joining the coaches this season are 4 mentors, like they've done in the past. The Season 4 mentors are:

American Idol, Ep. 12.17: Top 10

I kind of liked this new format to reveal the ones who made it through. Instead of making them stand on stage and critique each one...again...they all sat backstage. One by one Ryan revealed one person who made it through. The surprise was that the live audience and judges didn't know who was coming out on stage next. Each singer then sang a victory song. Overall, there were some atrocious song choices and because of all the emotions, there were some really bad performances. My favorites Lazaro and Angie had 2 of the better performances (and Keith even started crying during Angie's performance!).
Overall, I'm pretty impressed with my guesses! I was pretty sure of myself, but there were a few on the bubble and you never know how America is going to vote. Only missing 1 guy and 1 girl is not too shabby! This bodes well for my American Idol bracket at work...going for a repeat victory!

Top 10 Guys Perform, America Votes
Elijah
This Rihanna song is perfect for him. He sounds so much better than last week. I finally see why the judges were so crazy for him (kind of). The only negative was that it didn't really go anywhere, it was all kind of one-note. Oh dear, I agree with Randy again.
Cortez
He's got a lot of energy, but something just isn't working for me. Maybe it is that incessant screetching/squeaking in the background music...what is that? Overall, it was a decent performance, but I'm not overly wowed by it.
Charlie
Oh my goodness! I don't even know what to say about this! He's got his hair pulled back, which makes him look so different. Then he's got this one long dangly earring. Then he's showing off his white pale skin with a tank top...what? And that's all before I can even start listening to him! I don't recognize the song, but boy he starts getting into it! It was a much better vocal this week. Last week, he really got lost and carried away. This week he was much more controlled. The judges were really hard on him. Poor guy, he started breaking down and Ryan has to kind of be a therapist and try to encourage him. I just don't know if he is mentally/emotionally stable enough for a competition like this.
Nick
I love when he plays the piano. But, I wish he would have picked a better song. I don't think that particular Goo Goo Dolls was quite the right choice. He's got such a nice voice, but it was just too slow and boring. I don't think he did himself any favors with that one. I wish he would have done the same one that he did during Hollywood week.
Burnell
I'm starting to think that this guy's the real deal. I wasn't so sure about him early on, but he's bringing it! I don't know this song, but he's singing the crap out of it.
Paul
I love this song by Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton! This was a very good song choice for him. I loved everything about this performance. The Paul from previous rounds is back! He wasn't especially good in the last round, and almost went home for it. But this week, he's back to doing what I love about him. I don't know why the judges didn't like it as much as I did.

I sure hope the nerves don't get the better of him tonight! Interesting song choice. He definitely started out much stronger than he has in the past. Boy, when he hit the top of the 2nd verse, he hit it hard! Way to go Lazaro! He looked like he was so much more comfortable than he ever has! I'm so happy for him! And that last note was killer! That's what I'm talking about! He just proved he deserves to be in the competition as a competitor and not just as a result of people feeling sorry for him and his stuttering.
Curtis
Who sings "I Believe I Can Fly" any more? Never cared much for that song. Whoa...that was a high note he just hit! Dude can definitely sing!
Devin
I've always loved his voice. Unfortunately, he picked a very boring, unrecognizable song. Following Curtis didn't do him any favors either. I don't think it's going to quite cut it, even though vocally, it was really good. He also doesn't have a very memorable personality...I just don't think it's going to work for him.

I find this guy very, very annoying. He sounded like he was really sharp, and his high notes were really screetchy. For someone who has a headache (me) this did NOT help. I find him very similar to Curtis in style, voice, etc. and I think Curtis beats him on every point. I'm actually surprised...I figured the judges would love it, and they didn't.

Survivor, Ep. 26.4
After the Last Tribal
The Fans are reeling from another loss, and Sherri starts to lose it a little bit. Eddie and Reynold realize they were fooled and they are now circling the drain. Will anyone grab them and pull them out, or will they continue their downward spiral right out of the game? I'm hoping for the latter.
Favorite's Camp
Phillip decides that Brandon has worked his way up and has proven that he can be an asset to the alliance. So, he gives Brandon name in the Stealth-R-Us alliance: The Conquerer! Full induction ceremony and everything! Brandon: "I'm lying to him! This agent sucks!" Brenda is also made an "official member" and her name is Serenity. Apparently Erik also gets a name: The Silent One. Umm...Phillip...that's your entire tribe!
Reward Challenge
Cochran sits out for the Favorites.
The challenge was to transport a couple of people across some planks in the water being held by other tribe members. Once all were across, the entire tribe had to climb on a small platform and get every member above the top rung.
Laura is proving to be just about worthless. She can barely just walk over the planks...it can't be that hard! The Favorites start gaining while Laura takes forever. The Favorites quickly started climbing up and the Fans were getting close too. Shamar got on bottom and told everyone to climb/stand on top of him. Within seconds, the Favorites were only waiting on Corinne. The Fans had a problem: Matt was on the outside. He's a big dude! There was no way he was going to be able to get up and stay up.
And it's the Favorites again!!! Haha Shamar thinks they won and he starts celebrating! How does he know...he was on the bottom and couldn't see what was going on. Phillip is like, um no...WE WON!
Reward
A tiny little bushman named Tata, came to the Favorites camp. Malcolm called him a "Philipino Gollum"! He showed them some cooking techniques and kind of put on a little show for them. It's not like they need much help...they seem to be getting by pretty well for themselves. The Fans on the other hand...
Fans Tribe
The poor Fans are getting pretty depleted. Shamar went back to being himself and went right back into the shelter to lay down. It was pretty obvious that he was looking pretty ill, even for him. And then he scratches his eyeball! Please tell me he is the one who is going to have to be medically evacuated!
The tribe is getting even more annoyed with him than usual. Do I think they are smart enough to vote him out: no, probably not. The only way he's leaving is if he quits or is medically evacuated. I'll take either of those options...just as long as he goes!
Night time comes and the wind starts kicking up and there were tons of rats climbing all over them...yuck!
Shamar is slowly going insane, he's just rocking back and forth. Just give up dude! The medics come out to look at Shamar's eye, because it is really puffed up and red. The medic says that there is a divet in his cornea, and wait for it...there is nothing they can do on the island he needs to be pulled to be looked at by a specialist! Not to be mean, of course it's not good for anyone to have an injury, but I gotta say I'm happy to finally be rid of him.
Immunity Challenge
Corinne and Dawn sit out for the Favorites (I would have sat out Andrea or Brenda before Corinne)
Right off the bat, Erik takes a major header into the tires! Didn't seem to slow him down too much, he was still in the lead. Sherri on the other hand, can't break the key loose on the 1st try and has to go for a 2nd try.

He was knocking those things down like it was nothing! And he got the last one, while Reynold still had about 4 left. That was amazing! Reynold really held his own and brought them back in it. There was nothing he could have done better. It was Phillip's to lose and if he had missed on just a couple more tosses Reynold would have got him. Who knew Phillip could be so good in challenges?! He either was holding back on his season, or he's been practicing.
Prep for Tribal
The poor Fans tribe is now going to lose another member.
Matt and Michael start talking and Matt realizes that Eddie and Reynold are a major factor in keeping them close in challenges. Michael is pretty hesitant about going against their alliance. Laura is pretty clearly their weakest link, so she's on the chopping block.
Matt talks to Reynold about his plan, but Reynold really doesn't know if he can trust what he's saying because they've lied to them the past couple of Tribals. Reynold thinks he might be better off playing the Idol tonight just to be safe.
Matt then goes to Sherri, and she doesn't like this plan either. I don't see how it's going to fly. They are probably going to be dumb and get rid of one of their strongest, and they are going to continue to lose. However, at the rate they are going, they are going to have to switch up the tribes because they aren't going to have anyone left. So really, their best move might just be to take one of them out (even though that's the last thing I want to happen).
Tribal Council
Laura brings some words of wisdom: predicting the future-we might end up on different tribes soon. Yep, that's right. But I still don't want to lose Eddie or Reynold. I hope Reynold knows he best be playing that Idol this time, or he's going home with a souvenir.

The Fans are reeling from another loss, and Sherri starts to lose it a little bit. Eddie and Reynold realize they were fooled and they are now circling the drain. Will anyone grab them and pull them out, or will they continue their downward spiral right out of the game? I'm hoping for the latter.
Favorite's Camp
Phillip decides that Brandon has worked his way up and has proven that he can be an asset to the alliance. So, he gives Brandon name in the Stealth-R-Us alliance: The Conquerer! Full induction ceremony and everything! Brandon: "I'm lying to him! This agent sucks!" Brenda is also made an "official member" and her name is Serenity. Apparently Erik also gets a name: The Silent One. Umm...Phillip...that's your entire tribe!
Reward Challenge
Cochran sits out for the Favorites.
The challenge was to transport a couple of people across some planks in the water being held by other tribe members. Once all were across, the entire tribe had to climb on a small platform and get every member above the top rung.
Laura is proving to be just about worthless. She can barely just walk over the planks...it can't be that hard! The Favorites start gaining while Laura takes forever. The Favorites quickly started climbing up and the Fans were getting close too. Shamar got on bottom and told everyone to climb/stand on top of him. Within seconds, the Favorites were only waiting on Corinne. The Fans had a problem: Matt was on the outside. He's a big dude! There was no way he was going to be able to get up and stay up.
And it's the Favorites again!!! Haha Shamar thinks they won and he starts celebrating! How does he know...he was on the bottom and couldn't see what was going on. Phillip is like, um no...WE WON!
Reward
A tiny little bushman named Tata, came to the Favorites camp. Malcolm called him a "Philipino Gollum"! He showed them some cooking techniques and kind of put on a little show for them. It's not like they need much help...they seem to be getting by pretty well for themselves. The Fans on the other hand...
Fans Tribe
The poor Fans are getting pretty depleted. Shamar went back to being himself and went right back into the shelter to lay down. It was pretty obvious that he was looking pretty ill, even for him. And then he scratches his eyeball! Please tell me he is the one who is going to have to be medically evacuated!
The tribe is getting even more annoyed with him than usual. Do I think they are smart enough to vote him out: no, probably not. The only way he's leaving is if he quits or is medically evacuated. I'll take either of those options...just as long as he goes!
Night time comes and the wind starts kicking up and there were tons of rats climbing all over them...yuck!
Shamar is slowly going insane, he's just rocking back and forth. Just give up dude! The medics come out to look at Shamar's eye, because it is really puffed up and red. The medic says that there is a divet in his cornea, and wait for it...there is nothing they can do on the island he needs to be pulled to be looked at by a specialist! Not to be mean, of course it's not good for anyone to have an injury, but I gotta say I'm happy to finally be rid of him.
Immunity Challenge
Corinne and Dawn sit out for the Favorites (I would have sat out Andrea or Brenda before Corinne)

Top 10 Girls Perform, America Votes
Zoanette
Big surprise, I find myself wondering, again, why in the world this girl is in the Top 10. In a season that has heavily featured girl singers, do you mean to tell me that there wasn't just one more girl who was better than her? Anyone who thinks her high-pitched shriek at the end of her song is actually singing...wow...how wrong you would be. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: SCREAMING IS NOT SINGING! Being over-the-top is just a cover-up for the fact that she can't sing!
After watching the whole episode: does anyone else see what a joke she is compared to every other girl in the top 10, who can actually sing? She looks like she's giving some sort of weird audition.

I don't know the song, so I'm not really digging it. She's got a decent voice, but I'm not impressed at all. The ending was terrible, and the rest was just extremely boring.

This is a really good song choice for her. I think it really suits her voice.Still not outstanding, but BY FAR the best so far (which I guess isn't saying much since the first one was awful and the 2nd wasn't that great either).

I don't know this song, and I'm not really sure how I feel about it or her for that matter. Parts of it are really good. In comparison to Janelle's song, this song seemed really short. Even though she did a good enough job, I don't think she's very memorable.

Just gonna say it...she is by far my favorite girl, and my favorite singer this year, period. Going out on a limb (and I hope I'm not gonna jinx her), but I think she's gonna win. How awesome is it that she is singing a Colton Dixon song?! Love it!!!!!! I can't praise this girl enough. I seriously love everything about her: her voice (obviously), her talent, her look, her personality, her song choices....the list just goes on and on and on.

Hate the song choice. She can really sing, so that kind of made up for the terrible song. But is she memorable? I don't know about that. The judges certainly thought so...standing ovation. I don't think it was that good. She had a ton of runs (maybe a few too many). The 2nd half of the song was much more enjoyable than the 1st half. That's a hard song to stay on pitch, especially with all those runs, and she managed to do it, so kudos to her.

I'm so excited for a new season of Celebrity Apprentice. This time, it's the All Stars! We're sure to be in for some major drama, backstabbing and fighting...because if we've learned anything from previous seasons of Celebrity Apprentice, it's that celebrities will do A LOT to win for their charities. Amazing Race, Ep. 22.3
3rd Leg: Bates/Anthony lead it off
But first, we have to check in with Dave/Connor. He needs to have a sonogram to tell for sure what the status of his leg is. Until then, he was given some crutches to use.
Off to New Zealand, and the hometown of host Phil Keoghan.
John/Jessica hand over the 2nd Express Pass was given to Dave/Connor in honor of the alliance that was made. They decided to honor their pact because they obviously really did need it the most now, with Dave's injury. They think no one saw the exchange, but Bates/Anthony saw it.
Dave/Connor visit the hospital and he does have a torn tendon and muscle. They get a boot for him, but they are doomed because he's not going to be able to do much with the boot and crutches. They meet up with the rest of the teams and give them the verdict. Everyone feels really bad for them.
All of the teams are on the same flight to New Zealand. Uh oh...Chuck/Wynona are about to be left behind on the connection...they don't see any other teams.
All the teams drive themselves to a lake and pull off numbers for boat tours. Somehow Dave/Connor get their first. Chuck/Wynona are in last. The tours start in the morning, so they spend the night in tents on the beach.
Detour: Rev It Up or Reel It In
Dave/Connor get to Rev It Up and see that they have to drive with a clutch. Dave says he can't do that, so they change to Reel It In, which is catching fish. They give it a go, but when they don't catch anything for awhile, they use their Express Pass to skip the task.
At Rev It Up, teams need to take turns running a course around cones. They need to have combined times under 83 seconds. Lots of combined times in the 100s. It took most of the teams several runs to pass. Who would have guessed that Katie would be much better than Max? Poor guy, he just couldn't handle it.
Besides Dave/Connor, Chuck/Wynona are the only other team to choose the fishing task.
Road Block: Shemozzle Race
Oh boy, this looks like it could be very wild. Collect 12 chicken eggs (as many as you can carry safely at a time) while going through an obstacle course of getting covered in molasses and then getting covered with feathers. Then go down a big slip-and-slide into some disgusting water. Phil Keoghan tweeted that you don't even want to know what's in the water: "ignorance is bliss"...yuck, I can only imagine!

You just never know what to expect from the Turbinator. He always surprises me, and somehow I always forget how good he is. I didn't care for the song at all, but dude can sing. He's definitely unique, that's for sure.

What is with all of the old-fashioned music? Seriously, people...something within the last decade please! This was just painful.And what's with copying Randy Jackson's glasses? The song was so bad it was hard to listen to his vocals. I guess he sounded good, but I don't care for him at all. I guess it was good because all the judges gave him a standing ovation.

I've always really liked him. I hope he can make it this year! I think he did a really good job with it. A little on the boring side, though. Fingers crossed!

You just don't expect it to sound as good as it does, and his deep tone...wow! He always starts a little timid and shaking, but by the end, he has so much emotion and strength in his voice. That guy can bring me to tears every time! There's no way that you can't root for him.

Pretty good. Not mind-blowing, but better than some of the girls from last week, that's for sure. She stayed in tune, and it was really nice.

Can we go just one season without hearing "Natural Woman"? Please? Ugh, I hate that song.Very boring, but she ends with a very big note.

First girl to play a guitar. It looks way too big for her. She has a very different sound and style from the rest of the girls this season. She's not really country and she's not a big power ballad singer. It's really refreshing.

I will say that tonight was probably her best performance, but it was enough for me to know for sure now that I don't ever need to see/hear her again.

I don't know if she's just a joke or what. I just know that she is NOT the amazingly talented, unique creature that all the judges make her out to be. Guaranteed she is going to be the singer who doesn't go away this season. I will say that tonight was probably her best performance, but it was enough for me to know for sure now that I don't ever need to see/hear her again.

After the Last Tribal
It hit the fan! Matt was the monkey in the middle and the line has been drawn. Shamar continues his reign of terror on his tribe.Laura: "Do us a favor and shut up." Well said Laura, well said. 2 episodes in and I already can't stand him and don't want to hear him talking any more.
Side note: Shamar's tatoos really look strange in the night vision...they almost glow black! You barely see them during the day because he's black, but with the whole night vision thing, they are so dark black...weird!
Fan's Camp
Reynold and Eddie: "We're in a tight spot", "Revenge of the nerds", "We got our heads chopped off". Queen bee Sherri gives Shamar his orders for the day: do your best to let it roll off your back. Shamar: "It's not really worth it to me." Good, then go home!
Whoa, is he REALLY considering leaving? I was just kidding when I said "go home"...I didn't think he'd actually consider it! How awesome would that be? I don't think we can get that lucky though. He's all of a sudden not happy and realizing that he doesn't want the money that bad. He said the money isn't worth his unhappiness. Laura and Sherri try to persuade him to stay. He then decides because they have been loyal to him, that he should be loyal to them. Love Reynold's take: "he becomes a hero for unquitting?" Exactly!
Favorite's Camp
Ah Phillip...he sees Brenda working out, flexing with a coconut...so he starts working out...with a coconut. And then we hear about what a stud he thinks he is on the basketball court. OK...
Malcolm and Corinne set off to find the idol. Gotta say I like this pair. I think they are going to work really well together. And...yep...you guessed it...they got it! Woohoo! The only problem is they are so close already, and starting to draw attention. As long as they can keep winning challenges, they'll be OK.
Oh my...what is Phillip wearing on his head? Balancing a huge bowl or something? He just kills me!

Mad dash of all Survivors in the water! Cochran...I don't even know what to call what he was doing, but it wasn't really swimming...poor guy. You can really see who the good swimmers and who the not-so-good swimmers are.
Favorites get into their cage first, but not much ahead of the Fans. And it's the Fans to get the chest out first and start to take it to shore.
At the beach at the same time! Malcolm and Reynold, head-to-head for the 3rd time in a row! It's Reynold beating him again. Malcolm does better the 2nd time around though...go Malcolm! Brandon vs Eddie...so close over and over, and it's Brandon!!! Favorites win!
Prep for Tribal
Shamar: "I have contacts, I needed the goggles man." Always about him, isn't it?
The big alliance decides to try to flush out the idol by splitting their votes...3 Eddie, 3 Hope...uh oh. Me no likey this plan. It should SO be Shamar. But I see why they want him...no one will vote for him in the end.
Shamar spills the beans to Hope about what's going on! Hmmm.....after his big talk about loyalty? The others find out what he did and they realize he can't be trusted and he's not planning on helping any of them. Laura seems to have switched sides and it now seems like everyone's plan is to get Shamar out. We all know things never go as they seem, so we shall see.
Tribal Council
Shamar's temper is the first thing Probst brings up. Hope says what Shamar told her that she was going home. He says that's not what he said. He now is just playing the victim, when he's anything but.
Ha! I love that Shamar spelled Eddie's name "Eddy"...who spells it like that?

Date in the market. Painted baby chicks? Animal cruelty...romantic? How about some exotic grasshoppers and chicken feet? Yikes!
Side note: Sean's skin tone matches his pinkish-orange shirt...ha!
On the beach they are attacked by little monkeys! How cute were they? Oh my!
Dinner date discussion: he asks if she would move to Dallas if they got engaged and she said "yes". She kept waiting for the right time to tell him that she loves him. And, she's just about to get up the nerve to say it, and they get interrupted by some locals surrounding them with music and dancing.
The Fantasy Suite Card: Yes
Sean says that she could be his best friend...and then she says she wants to tell him something, and then awkward silence...and then more awkward silence, and THEN she finally said it: "I love you." Better late than never, just ask Lesley.

How much do you want to bet, AshLee will declare something with both arms in the air at some point during their date? Another bet...she will mention something about being abandoned.
They take a boat ride to an underwater cave. AshLee is terrified: "I don't do caves.". Oh...she referred to being abandoned 3 times before they even got in the water! It was pretty scary and "rocky" but Sean led her to safety. They reach the beach on the other side, and guess what...arms in the air! OK, so she didn't declare anything, she was going sort of for a hug, but I'm still holding out hope that it's coming at some time during their dinner.
Deja vu....she says she doesn't take this lightly...Lindsay literally said the same thing.

Their date included a boat ride, and what appeared to be them remaking the Titanic scene with Jack and Rose at the front of the boat.

Catherine admitted to Sean that she was not very happy about everything that her sisters said to her on their hometown visit.
Lots of swimming and kissing in the rain...
During dinner, Sean asks where she sees herself in 5 years, she said they would be married. She says that she's very traditional about marriage and she, like AshLee gave a lot of thought to the Fantasy Suite.
The Fantasy Suite Card: Yes
She talks about being insecure and that she was often made fun of when she was little. She didn't think that someone as "beefy" as Sean would ever be with someone like her. Sean: "You are smokin' hot...I'm the lucky one." Aw...what every girl wants to hear.

Sean says he knows who he's sending home. He never thought he would be sending this girl home and he hates having to do it.
Time to stare at the girl's photos...and then some videos from the girls. Now he says he has "an idea" of who is going to send home. AshLee's video was kind of hard to watch because she kept crying. It seems like they should have edited that out for her. It hit Sean pretty hard and he got a little emotional while watching it.
Rose Ceremony
Whoa, there's a first! Sean reaches for the first rose and Lindsay says under her breath "Oh Sh.." and gets bleeped! Really? He ends up calling her first. And then, could he have possibly stood there holding the last rose any longer before finally calling Catherine's name?

AshLee looked pissed when he didn't call her name! Most people are upset and emotional, but she gave him the look of death and bolted out of there! He had to call out to her and stop her so he could explain himself. She didn't say one word, she just glared into his eyes. I don't think she blinked once! That is not the reaction I expected to get from her at all. I figured she would be an emotional wreck. Once in the limo, she finally broke down. Then she awkwardly tried to turn away from the camera as they continued to zoom in on the back of her head. That was just strange.

Amazing Race, Ep. 22.2
2nd Leg: Jessica/John lead it off
For a "Fight Club", the 6 members of the club sure do an awful amount of talking about it. I don't see this lasting very long.
Detour: Pick a Pearl or Take a Trunk
Seems like most teams are going with Pick a Pearl. Oops! Dave/Connor forgot to get the snorkel and fins before they left the shore. From first to last, just like that.
Spoiler Alert: Idries/Jamil are afraid of water! Guess you should have worked on facing that fear before you signed up for the race. They whine and complain and can't decide if they want to try the task or take the penalty. Lots of quitting and we're only on the 2nd leg of the season! After some discussion, they do decide to try it after all. Sort of...they really let the fear get the better of them. Nothing like 2 black guys flailing about in the water, having no clue what to do.
Pam/Winnie were stuck on the jetski for what seemed like forever. They were looking at the map and not moving...at all. Seriously girls, it can't be that hard!
Road Block: Kick a Coconut
They have to wear stilts to kick a coconut. Sounds easy, right? Joey was first to try, and Jessica and Connor were right behind. After 3 teams make it to the pit stop, Joey is still there trying. Max struggles and Pam (or Winnie...can't tell them apart yet) struggled and also ripped some major skin off her feet...ouch!
Run to the finish...Dave thinks he ruptured his Achilles...oh boy. His fate for the rest of the race is unknown.

American Idol, Ep. 12.12
10 of the Top 20 Guys perform, 5 will go home
Paul Jolley-I've loved him from the beginning. He started a little off and not as good as he has been in the past. I don't think it was the right song for him.
Johnny Keyser-I've loved him since last season when I thought he should have made it further than he did. He picked a great song, but I don't know if it was the best one for him (and what's up with his little kid hairdo...he looks like he's 5). It got much better when he got to the chorus. The further into the song he got, the better he got.
JDA-sorry but he/she scares me...not my cup o' tea. Unfortunately, the vocals are really good....just can't stand to look at him/her. Tons of drama and theatrics.
Kevin Harris-aka "Butter"; Is it just me or does this guy look 40. He has a decent voice, but it's not outstanding...very forgettable.
Chris Watson-Never been a fan of this guy. I absolutely hate the hair and the bandanna. The vocal was OK, nothing to get excited about.
Devin-His deep voice always surprises me. Best vocal of the night so far.
Elijah-He has a surprisingly high voice, but his falsetto was pretty shaky. I don't care for his attitude, but his voice is pretty good.
Charlie Askew-I don't know why, but I can't get enough of this kid. Normally kids like this drive me nuts, but for some reason I like him. Not a stellar vocal at the beginning, but about halfway through he starting feeling it. Loved the jumping and spinning around. Definitely not his best, I don't know if it was good enough to keep him around. Nicki loved it though.
Jimmy Smith-He started out pretty shaky. It was OK, but nothing outstanding. I've heard him do better.
Curtis Finch, Jr.-Hated the song choice. He's got a decent voice, but oh, that song was just awful.

American Idol, Ep. 12.11
10 of the Top 20 Girls perform, 5 will go home
Jenny Beth-not impressed, lots of off-key notes
Tenna-good song choice (one of my all-time favorites-"Soulmate" by Natasha Bedingfield), but it was way too slow and boring; did not think it was as good as the judges did
Adriana-yucky song choice, ugh! I guess she sang it fine, but hated the song
Brandy-another country girl, another bad country song, she's flat and boring
Shubha-plays piano and does Lady Gaga-a little slow and awkward at the beginning, but she's been a stand-out for me from the beginning; I think she did a really good job and it was nice to see someone liven things up; I do agree with the judges that the runs were out of control
Kamaria-not the right song, don't like the way the sounds come out of her mouth...kind of sounds a little like a mush mouth; not great vocally
Kree-another country girl, another slow and boring country song; at least her vocals were better than some of the others, and rightly so...she's been featured a lot in these early rounds

Survivor, Ep. 26.2
The Favs are reeling from the Tribal Council that sent Francesca packing after 3 days for the 2nd time in her very short Survivor career.
Brandon: "This Tribal Council sucked!" "I'm a honey badger dude." "You'll still lose because of that stupid move." He just startee flying off the handle. "I'm gonna go Russell Hantz style." "I'm feeling revengeful." He wants to make camp life miserable."This is a game. I'm going to play diiiiirrrrttttyyy and I'm gonna go out with a bang! Oh boy, here we go...
Does anyone else think that Brandon might be bi-polar? I mean, seriously. Dude has some really high highs and some really low lows. One minute he's really happy, the next he's going on a rampage, the next he feels horrible for how he acted/reacted. It's just a constant cycle for him. His unpredictable behavior is becoming very predictable.
Dawn cries because Brandon was mean to her. So much for her not crying this season.
OK, commercial break. So can I just go back to all those crazy quotes...what the heck is a honey badger? And...we're back...
The Fans seem to be taking on Survivor camp life, full steam ahead....except for Shamar. He's having a ball just watching everyone use their energy. He thinks that if he doesn't look like he cares, he won't seem like he's a threat. Not a totally bad plan, but boy, it sure doesn't make him any peach to be around camp with.
The popular kids are in trouble because the other 6 have decided to band together to take them down. Sherri seems to be running the show. She wants Shamar around and she wants him to keep running his mouth so that the others don't see him as a threat. She said that he is in her back pocket.
The next day, Brandon has a change of heart and tells Cochran that he was planning to sabotage the tribe, but has changed his mind because he doesn't want to be known for that. Cochran sees him as being very unpredictable and that scares him.
Phillip joins the conversation. Brandon wants to know if Phillip thinks he can trust with information. Phillip says "I don't think I have enough data yet, I think I'm gonna pause." He uses the analogy that Brandon is at mid-management with him. Basically that means, he's on a "need to know basis."
Brandon thinks Phillip is Special Agent Pink Panther and he's a bully...he wants to cut the head off the snake.
Immunity Challenge, Reward: fishing gear
Oh....my...gosh. Tribes walk in, and Phillip awkwardly knocks over their tribe flag. Ha! Nice move, Specialist!
Fans decide to sit out Laura.
Erik, Brenda and Andrea on the rafts for the Favs. Julia, Hope and Sherri on the rafts for the Fans. Brandon, Corinne and Cochran were pulling the rafts for the Favs, and Shamar, Matt and Eddie for the Fans.
OK, so why Cochran on the ropes? I would think he would be a better ring tosser?
The Favs started out strong, but Shamar's rope pulling sling-shotted the Fans to pretty much get them neck-and-neck. In the water, Erik was flying pulling out the planks to release the rings. The 3 of them did very well at taking turns and quickly released all the rings and were on their way back. The Fans really struggled and quickly fell behind. Malcolm started tossing the rings for the Favs and my first thought was "oh no, not again!" He quickly got one and struggled to get his 2nd. Again, Shamar's rope pulling caused the Fans to catch up quickly. It was Malcolm vs. Reynold...again! Next up, Phillip started tossing against Michael and FINALLY Phillip lands the 3rd and final ring. The Favs win!
Back at camp, Phillip describes the birth of the Stealth-R-Us Inc alliance, which began on Redemption Island and for "unforseen reasons" has expanded it's operations to the Philippines. Gosh, I love him. He has given each member of the operation a nickname:
Malcolm: The Enforcer. In any challenge that any man or woman be taken out of commission. Love it! He says he's happy to play along with this for a few days if it makes people happy, but he says if he has to do it for the whole game he's going to hang himself...please don't!
Cochran: Intelligentsia Attache
Dawn: True Grit
Corinne: The Dominatrix (so creepy how he says it)
Andrea: The Eliminator (I don't get that one at all)
And, Phillip of course, is The Specialist.
Back on the Fans side, Reynold calls out Shamar about his behavior, and an argument ensues.
Matt thinks that he and Michael should go with the popular people. Those 2 are obviously the swingers. Whichever way they go, they decide where this game goes.
Reynold starts looking for the Idol...and he's got it! Nice job! He pulled it off before any of the Favs found theirs!
HOWEVER...oh no...his bulge has been seen by Laura. Out in the middle of the beach, he is seen putting his pants on, and Laura says she "noticed the bulge". So much for being discrete.
Tribal Council
The foursome is called out in front of everyone. And then...Laura says she saw "a bulge" in someone's pocket. She said she wouldn't say who, but she was looking right at Reynold, as Probst kindly pointed out. And THEN he comes clean and says he does have it, because his pants were too tight, he obviously couldn't hide it. For some reason, many of them thought that they were voting unanimously as a family. Laura wonders why he brought it to Tribal if he thought that. He says "because it's Survivor!" Well duh, people. He makes a big statement and says he will be playing the Idol tonight.
The Vote
Reyonld slips the Idol back in his pocket...good move.

The showmance is cut short for Reynold and Allie. Big day for Reynold: he finds immunity but loses his cuddle buddy.
Brandon: "This Tribal Council sucked!" "I'm a honey badger dude." "You'll still lose because of that stupid move." He just startee flying off the handle. "I'm gonna go Russell Hantz style." "I'm feeling revengeful." He wants to make camp life miserable."This is a game. I'm going to play diiiiirrrrttttyyy and I'm gonna go out with a bang! Oh boy, here we go...
Does anyone else think that Brandon might be bi-polar? I mean, seriously. Dude has some really high highs and some really low lows. One minute he's really happy, the next he's going on a rampage, the next he feels horrible for how he acted/reacted. It's just a constant cycle for him. His unpredictable behavior is becoming very predictable.
Dawn cries because Brandon was mean to her. So much for her not crying this season.
OK, commercial break. So can I just go back to all those crazy quotes...what the heck is a honey badger? And...we're back...
The Fans seem to be taking on Survivor camp life, full steam ahead....except for Shamar. He's having a ball just watching everyone use their energy. He thinks that if he doesn't look like he cares, he won't seem like he's a threat. Not a totally bad plan, but boy, it sure doesn't make him any peach to be around camp with.
The popular kids are in trouble because the other 6 have decided to band together to take them down. Sherri seems to be running the show. She wants Shamar around and she wants him to keep running his mouth so that the others don't see him as a threat. She said that he is in her back pocket.
The next day, Brandon has a change of heart and tells Cochran that he was planning to sabotage the tribe, but has changed his mind because he doesn't want to be known for that. Cochran sees him as being very unpredictable and that scares him.
Phillip joins the conversation. Brandon wants to know if Phillip thinks he can trust with information. Phillip says "I don't think I have enough data yet, I think I'm gonna pause." He uses the analogy that Brandon is at mid-management with him. Basically that means, he's on a "need to know basis."
Brandon thinks Phillip is Special Agent Pink Panther and he's a bully...he wants to cut the head off the snake.
Immunity Challenge, Reward: fishing gear
Oh....my...gosh. Tribes walk in, and Phillip awkwardly knocks over their tribe flag. Ha! Nice move, Specialist!

The Bachelor, Ep. 17.8
Hometown Date Week with the Top 4
AshLee - Houston, TX
For their "date", all they did was sit and talk in the park...pretty boring.
AshLee's dad didn't waste any time letting the questions fly. She breaks down crying when she talks about doing the polar bear plunge and why she did it for him. The parents did not look happy when she said there was a lot of romance in St. Croix. Ooh, if looks could kill...eek!
One-on-one with Mom: "Are you going to break her heart?" Geez lady! I get being protective but ease up a little bit. One-on-one with Dad: "Are you in love with my daughter?" The one question he was afraid to answer...of course. Sean fires back with questions about signing permission to let her get married at 17. And then he pops the question....to Pops: "Would you be OK with me proposing to your daughter?" Pops gives his blessing.
Tough questions aside, her parents did seem very sweet, and both seemed very OK with welcoming Sean into the family.
Catherine - Seattle, WA
For their date, she shows him some shops in Seattle...oh and they toss/catch fish. Lots of goofiness going on that day. It's OBVIOUS that he is a very different person when he's with her. She's definitely starting to grow on me, and he really seems to be happy with her.
Lots of people to meet on this date...he's definitely out-numbered: 5 girls! Grandma thinks he's handsome! Ha! Everyone's having fun until she talks alone with her sisters. They were very stern and VERY skeptical. She really had to do a lot of defending and a lot of convincing.
When Sean talks to the sisters, they didn't really do a lot to help her out. She was right to think that someone might mess it up for her. They said she's messy, moody and maybe not ready to settle down. Mom wasn't much help either.He asks if she would give her blessing; "We'll see what happens." Ummm....that doesn't really answer the question lady.
He left doubting their relationship.
Lindsay - Fort Leonard Wood, MO
Sean's nervous about meeting her father, who's a general. I would be too! He (and Lindsay) have a hard time coming up with what Sean should call him...Mr. or General...haha!
She takes him to see antiques and they walk around the town. The best part of the date was when she put him in an Army shirt and she started yelling at him like a general and he was trying not to laugh. She put him through the ringer "Drop and give me 20", "faster, faster"...haha...that was great!
Her Dad really didn't look like a general. You can definitely see where Lindsay gets her fun, bubbly spirit from...her Mom is just like her. Mom asks the "Do you love her" question. Sean's answer was very honest about what saying that means to him. Mom was impressed.
Time to win Dad over. Sean handled himself very well with him. Then he pops the question. Dad didn't have an answer at first. He eventually gave his blessing...as long as Lindsay says "yes". If she says "no" the offer is revoked. For a general, he seemed like a really nice guy. When they left, Dad gave him a set of dog tags...aw!
Desiree - Los Angeles, CA
For their date, she takes him hiking in the canyon.
Time to see what all the previews were showing: horrible acting. It's pretty hard to believe that this dude is actually a boyfriend and that he's actually serious. Poor Sean...he seemed to buy it hook, line and sinker. He should know better...he's a jokester himself. And...he even pulled a joke on Emily on his hometown date. She said it was payback for him pranking her on their first date.
Little did Sean know that the actor wasn't the only "tough" guy he was going to meet on this visit. Her brother was way tougher than all of the Dads combined. He had some real issues. He was tough on her too. He said the whole thing was "stupid" (his words). He said "there's no way this can work out". He tells Sean that he doesn't think that he's into Des. He thinks she likes him, but there's no "reciprocation". Sean says he's crazy about her and the brother's response was "you're probably crazy about a lot of girls, right?". Yikes! He's not afraid to say what he's thinking, is he? Whoa...awkward silence. Oooh...he just said that he thinks that he's "a playboy" (his exact words). Sean said tried to tell him that that's not who he is, but the brother flat out said he wasn't buying it. He said he thinks he is just going to go after girl after girl. Wow. He doesn't even know him...he has no right to make judgments like that. Poor Sean...he really wanted to tell him off. Then her sweet parents were embarrassed and her Dad starts talking about the weather and how they have 4 distinct seasons.
Sean leaves, and Des can tell that things were tense. After he leaves, her parents really try to set her brother straight. Her Dad said that he was all wrong about Sean, but he stood firm and said that he thinks Des is going to get hurt. Poor girl. That probably just sealed her fate.
Her parents were very strange, and I'm sorry, but they were really dorky! They didn't really show much of Sean's conversations with either of them. We didn't see him asking for a blessing...that probably means something.
Rose Ceremony
Sean sits down with Chris and he says that he was hoping to get some clarity and he didn't get it. He is not sure who he is sending home. He has it narrowed down to Catherine and Des. His concerns with Des are really just about her brother. If he chooses her, he's always going to be there, and they are probably never going to get along. With Catherine, he's not sure if their lives align. She's really independent, and he's not sure if she's ready to settle down, because she has a lot of goals in her life right now.
Sean gets ready to start handing out roses, but before he does, Des wants to talk to him. She wanted to apologize for the night before. She said that she could tell that he was upset by what happened. He said he understood and that it wasn't her fault. It was her brother.
He calls out AshLee's name and then Lindsay's. He picks up the last rose and then PUTS IT BACK DOWN! What?! That never happens! He wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't sure who he wanted to send home. He was obviously really struggling with the decision. Poor Catherine and Des having to wait all that time.

Going Home: Desiree
Poor Des....her brother gets to say "I told you so." :( As Sean walked her out, he told her she has every quality that he's looking for and that he might wake up tomorrow and regret his decision. That's really got to hurt to hear those words. He hugs her goodbye and he says he's going to miss her so much and she says "then don't let me go." Oh, so sad! In MY opinion...I think it should have been AshLee going home. I think they have the least in common and she seems way too boring for him.

There were 2 flights to Bora Bora--only 5 teams can take flight #1. Team Alabama is first in line.
The first 5 teams form a "fight club" alliance. Whoever wins the Express Pass needs to give a 2nd Express Pass to the team who comes in 2nd. It's like Fight Club because you don't talk about it to anyone else and you don't tell anyone you're in it. Alabama, Brotherhood, Father/Son, Jessica & John and Pamela & Winnie.
Road Block #1: Skydive
Road Block #2: Searching through sandcastles
Knock over sandcastles looking for clues. Any that are destroyed must be rebuilt.The partner that didn't do the first one had to do this one.
Team Alabama misses the bucket with clues. Once there, Wynona seemed in no hurry, and complained the whole time. Idries also was in no hurry. He was quite hot, and just did a lot of complaining. The other teams from the 2nd flight started catch up. Joey had way too much fun...complete opposite of Wynona and Idries. Team after team comes and finds their clues before Idries and Wynona. They could be there all day.
The last 3 teams can't find a clue, so they all decide to take a penalty because they all think they can canoe faster and win on a foot race: Firefighters, Country Singers, and Newlyweds
Firefighters ended up being kind of embarrassed by 2 blonde girls, as they got out-canoed. When agreeing to take the penalty, they thought for sure they could beat the other 2, but unfortunately, they struggled in the canoe.

*Dave & Connor came in 2nd from their "first flight club" and are expecting to receive the Express Pass, but Jessica & John don't sound too sure if they are going to stick to their agreement...this could get interesting.

American Idol, Ep. 12.9 & 12.10
Hollywood Week 2: Girls
Judging by what we've seen in the audition rounds, it seems like this is the year of the girls. It's been 5 years since a girl has won, and with the number of girls they featured during auditions they seemed to really overpower the number of guys.
Night 1: Solos/ Groups
Major drama, and way too many bad singers made it through...argh!
Kez Ban is just a disaster. She's way too quirky, opinionated, and unwilling to work with others. She had one song she wanted to do and she was going to be so upset if they didn't pick her song. She had an opinion about everything...that poor group.
After Night 1, there were 47 girls left.
Night 2: Solos
Right out of the gate, Angela Miller...oh my goodness was she good! And she sang an original song which was really good. Her performance was so good and noteworthy, that I'm including a clip of her performance here. For those of you who don't remember, she's the girl who has hearing loss.
Candice Glove was also really good.
And then there's Zoanette...words can't even describe her. She decides to play the drums because she heard a beat in her head and they just winged it. I can't stand her attitude, her personality, or anything about her. And I don't even know what she was wearing. I don't know what you can call her "performance". She's just haphazardly banging on the drums, and squealing and then yells to the band to slow it down, an d then she drops one of her sticks. And the worst part? The judges went crazy for it! Ridiculous. The fact that she is still there is just a testament to the poor taste of Nicki Minaj.
And then there's Kez Ban. It says a lot that she is friends with Zoanette. Thank goodness, the judges did not put her through this time! She's so weird in fact, that she didn't want to leave and asked them to give her a job. She thought she could like get Ryan's water for him or hold a microphone or something. They humored her for awhile, but I can't believe that they would be able to stand having her around any more.
Melinda Ademi was really good singing "Price Tag" by Jessie J.
There seems to be a real country presence this season, especially with the girls. It seems like EVERY girl sings country.
A couple girls are asked to sing again, and they finally picked the top 20 girls.
The guys are called back out. There were 28 left, so 8 more cuts needed to be made.
A few guys performed again...the hilight was Josh Holiday totally splitting his pants! Whoa!
Notable final exits: Adam Sanders, Marvin Calderon, David Leathers, Jr.
Gotta say, I'm pretty happy with a lot of the guys who made it through!!! Lazaro, Johnny Keyser, the Turbinator, and Paul Jolley!

Survivor, Ep. 26.1 + Malcolm on "Bold and the Beautiful"
Season 26: Fans vs Favorites is finally here!
I don't think I've ever been so excited for a season of Survivor to start! Mostly because it is the return of Malcolm! We all need a little Malcolm in our lives, don't we? I'm really excited to see some of the other Favorites as well: Phillip, Cochran, Brandon, oh my!
As a side note, before we get to the episode recap...Malcolm was on The Bold and The Beautiful today (all of about 15 seconds). Watch as he plays a guy named Malcolm :) Don't worry, you don't need to watch the entire 20 minutes of the video...Malcolm appears within the first 2 minutes and that's it. OK, moving on to our season premiere, which is entitled "She Annoys Me Greatly"...

The Bachelor, Ep. 17.7
SPOILER ALERT! Tonight is the end of the reign of the evil Tierra! She over-stayed her welcome by 7 episodes. But hey, at least she didn't go all the way to the end. Sean may have had his blinders on for 7 episodes, but at least he pulled the plug before actually proposing to this fruitloop, unlike someone else...hahem...Ben....hahem. We all saw how well that worked with Courtney. Thank goodness Sean had some sense to get rid of Courtney 2.0. Any way, rant over...on to the recap.
The girls leave the cold of Canada, for St. Croix. Tierra decided to sleep on a cot in the hallway over sharing a room with any of the other girls. It just never ends.
One-on-One Date: AshLee
As AshLee's name is announced on the date card, Tierra could not look more annoyed. Poor Tierra, the only girl not to have a date.
Sean asks AshLee about Tierra. She didn't hold back and told it like it is. Finally, he decides to believe what he's being told. He said he trusts AshLee and doesn't think she would lie to him. So wait. Did he think ALL of the other girls who told him something about Tierra were lying?
At dinner, AshLee decides it's time to share something important with Sean. This probably should have come up a little sooner, but she tells him that she was married 15 years ago, when she was 17. It was hard for her to share it, and the more she drug it out, the more scared he got. So, she dated a guy her freshman year, got married her junior year and was divorced by her senior year. Wow...and all because she was having trouble with her mom?
And the date ended with them screaming "Hello St. Croix"...and then AshLee screams "I love Sean!"
One-on-One: Tierra
Finally, Tierra's name is alone on the date card. She's been whining about getting a one-on-one date FOREVER, and it's finally here. So, you would think that she would be ecstatic. Well, if you thought that, you would be wrong! The date card says that her and Sean are going to explore the town. She is not happy that it's going to be crowded and hot and her make-up will run. She wonders why he wouldn't take her boating, because she likes to do things like that. Someone call the Wambulance...wha wha, wha wha....(side reference, watch this video if you don't know what a wambulance is...this seems VERY appropriate for Tierra, given how many times the ambulance has been called for her and how much she whines).
The day of her date arrives, and it's time for her to face the music. Sean has a lot of questions for her, to say the least. Let's see how many times she complains and/or cries during this date.
For some reason, Sean buys her an eternity bracelet...really? You have so many questions about her, and you buy her something relating to the word "eternity"?
He finally starts to ask her some questions about being in the house and with the other girls. Of course, she acts like the victim and says that they purposely do their own thing and don't talk to her (wasn't it her that moved a cot into the hallway away from everyone else? yeah, thought so.). He asks her if she could do things over again if she would act any differently with the girls, and she says "no" and that they aren't going to be around for much longer. Ooh...wrong answer.
At dinner, she tells him that she felt like he was distant and she didn't know why. He admits that it was probably because he was subconsciously thinking about the drama with the girls. She's pissed that the girls tried to throw her under the bus. She then tells him that she is falling in love with him.
At the end of the date, I was very disappointed that more of her true self didn't come through and Sean isn't doubting her as much as he was before.
Group Date: Catherine, Desiree, Lindsay
Sean is one brave guy. He decides to wake the girls up really early. But not just that...he goes in their rooms with a flashlight and a camera! He's lucky he made it out alive. The girls only had a few minutes to get ready. They went to the ocean to see the sunrise...which was totally beautiful. The rest of their date was a journey across the island in order to see the sunset at the end of the day.
They visited a sugar mill, a cafe, a treehouse. Are Catherine and Lindsay really on this date? Desiree seems to be getting A LOT of the attention.
Finally at the end of the day, we see Lindsay and Catherine get some time. He tells Lindsay that they've had quite the journey from her first night in a wedding dress. Catherine tells Sean that if he meets her family, he won't be meeting her dad because he lives in China. She tries to keep in touch with him, but it's hard. He attempted suicide in front of her and her sisters. That poor girl...first a tree falls on a girl and kills her right in front of her and then her dad attempts suicide in front of her. That's quite a lot to handle.
Desiree has a crying meltdown on the beach as she talks to Sean about her family. Not sure why this was so emotional for her.
This is the only date that had a rose to be handed out. The rose went to Lindsay.
Bummer of the day: the plan was to see the sunset. The problem, they can't see the sun...at all. #fail
One-on-One Date: Lesley
On this date, Sean wants to try to bring his relationship to a higher level, because right now, he has stronger feelings for the other girls.
Lesley wants to tell Sean that she's falling for him, but when she should have said something, she didn't. Awkward silence, and then "let's go pick some more fruit." He said it was kind of strange that she wasn't really looking at him when she was talking, it was like she wasn't confident in their relationship. They did finally do some smoochin', but it looks like it's too little too late.
Sean has a visitor: his sister Shay/Drama in the house
While Sean visits with Shay, the drama comes to a boiling point in the house. The scenes go back and forth between Sean and Shay and the girls in the house.
Shay's advice for Sean before he started this journey: "Don't end up with the girl no one likes." Wise words...take heed Sean.
Back at the house, the girls continue to talk about Tierra and she decides it's time to confront AshLee. Oh boy, here we go...the sh** is going to hit the fan and there's about to be some ugly crying. She says that AshLee is sabotaging her."Men love me." Eeek! Tierra flings some daggers like "when I'm 32, I hope I'm married with kids and I don't have to sit around with a bunch of 20-year-olds gossiping." The turn in the conversation came when AshLee said that she didn't say anything to Sean until he asked her and said her name. Oh man, the look on Tierra's face was priceless!
AshLee says that Tierra is rude because she doesn't make eye contact or respond when they are talking to her and she just stares at them with raised eyebrows. Tierra's response was that that is her face and that she hasn't had botox...haha!! She said she can't control her eyebrow and she can't control her face 24/7, because her face "would get frickin' tired". Her parents told her she has a sparkle and not to let the girls in the house take her sparkle. So that's where she gets her "holier than thou" attitude. Should have guessed that her parents would treat her like a princess...hence the name Tierra (tiara...pretty close, don't you think?).
Sean goes to the house during WWIII to get Tierra so Shay can meet her for herself. I sure hope Sean has a bullet-proof vest and a helmet because if he tries to get in the middle of this cat fight, things could get ugly.
Sean gets there just minutes too late to see the fireworks, and he walks in for the waterworks instead. "This is just so hard for me Sean. I'm so sensitive and I have such a big heart." I think I'm going to be sick. She tells Sean that she took what happened on their date really hard, and it's been weighing on her heart. She says that she wants to be honest with him and she says that she confronted someone because she felt like they were sabotaging her. When he asked who, she didn't want to say, but he said "at this point, I think it would be best if you did" (you go Sean!). She said it was AshLee. "She's just out to get me." Waaa waaa. "I hate confrontation and I hate being emotional." If that's true, she must really hate her life, because it seems like that's all she does! In Sean's words: "this is turning into a nightmare". You can say that again. The only solution? Get rid of the problem.
Sean leaves, and then comes back after making a decision. He starts off by saying that his intention coming there wasn't to make her feel bad. He tells her that he flew his sister there and he wanted her to meet her. That's all he said...and Tierra just bursts into tears! I don't care what he feels for her, but if that doesn't make him feel like, 'wow, this girl is high maintenance and has some real issues', I don't know what will.
He says he's cared for her from the beginning, but because of how hard it is on her, he thinks it would be best for her to go home. "I just can't keep you here knowing how hard this is for you." He asks her if she wants to say goodbye to the girls. Um, what do you think? As he walks her out, he asks if she's going to be ok, and she says "no, I'm not". I pity anyone who comes into contact with her in the next 24 hours...she might bite someone's head off.
In the limo, she sobs and says "I can't believe they did this to me. I hope the girls got what they wanted."
Cocktail Party
The girls haven't seen Tierra or Sean for hours. They are worried that she was going to come in with a rose like on the roller derby date. Fortunately, that is not the case...they can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Sean tells the girls that he let her go and he tells them that he isn't looking for drama in his life. AshLee felt like he was looking at her when he said that. She was worried and Lesley thought she should be worried because she was the cause of part of the drama this time. Of course, this is just the show, throwing doubt at us and making even more drama...out of the drama.

Catherine: "If he doesn't want Lesley, what am I still doing here? She has more in common with him than I do. My beliefs are shattered." What? She was so emotional....and she GOT A ROSE!

Hollywood Week 1: Guys
Episode 12.7: The first round is sudden death. You stand in a line of 10 guys, each one sings a cappella and you're either in or out.
The next round is the dreaded group round. This season, the groups were put together by the producers instead of letting the singers pick their own groups.
Overall, there were some really, really good groups. The best ones, were also really surprisingly good because just by looking at them, you wouldn't think they would be very good. Quite a few groups really changed up their songs and made them very unique and original.
After night one, it's down to 43 guys.

In the 3rd round of Hollywood, the guys each had to pick another song to perform, this time with live music.
Again, there were some really strong performances. Of those, and the featured singers to make it through this round were also some of my favorites: Paul Jolley, Lazaro Arbos, Gurpreet, Cortez Shaw, Jimmy Smith, Johnny Keyser, Nick Boddington, Charlie Askew, Burnell Taylor, Marvin Calderon, Mathenee. Gotta say, I'm really creeped out by Jada...eek!
Some notable losses in this round:
Matheus Fernandes-he struggled with the live band and Nicki didn't appreciate his constant joking about his size.
Papa Peachez was a mess on Lady Gaga's You and I...whoa. Nicki was very disappointed that he didn't take her advice to step it up. Good riddance, he had a real attitude. Who did he think he was, saying he doesn't like to sing other people's songs? That's fine, but you do know that that is what the show is about?
Nicholas Mathis took being cut very badly, I really thought he was going to have a mental breakdown....wow. Get a hold of yourself dude.
Kind of sad to see Micah go...
Gabe Brown...really? I'm really surprised that he didn't make it. I thought he had a good, rocker voice.
I was also kind of sad to see Nate go home.

Papa Peachez was a mess on Lady Gaga's You and I...whoa. Nicki was very disappointed that he didn't take her advice to step it up. Good riddance, he had a real attitude. Who did he think he was, saying he doesn't like to sing other people's songs? That's fine, but you do know that that is what the show is about?
Nicholas Mathis took being cut very badly, I really thought he was going to have a mental breakdown....wow. Get a hold of yourself dude.
Kind of sad to see Micah go...
Gabe Brown...really? I'm really surprised that he didn't make it. I thought he had a good, rocker voice.
I was also kind of sad to see Nate go home.
So, after night 2, it's down to 28 guys. We then find out that after the girls perform next week, another 8 guys will be eliminated.
