Survivor, Ep. 28.10

After Tribal
Jefra thought it was a good time to go with Jeremiah and go against Tony, but she changed her mind.

Kass blamed Spencer for not playing the idol for anyone but himself. He is blaming himself for using the idol wrongly, and how they are now "David" going up against "Goliath". He and Tasha are an army of 2...and what an army they are! They are so strong in challenges, but is that enough.

Treemail tells them that the food auction is coming up. Tony knows there will be some kind of advantage in the immunity challenge, so he knows he has to get it so that Spencer and Tasha don't.

The Voice, Ep. 6.19 & 6.20

Can I just say that I LOVE RIXTON'S "ME AND MY BROKEN HEART"!!!! I have literally been obsessed with this song for weeks and I have it on repeat. I have to listen to it a couple times a day. (OK, maybe not that much, but when I hear it on the radio, I have to play it again and again on my phone...and watch and rewatch the video. Obsessed. OK, rant and embarrassing statement over. On to the show!

Kat (Team Adam)
"Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac
She sounds amazing. It was nice to see her do something that was a little more subdued. Her last notes were huge! She is so talented.
My Score: 9

Tess (Team Shakira)
"Ain't It Fun" by Paramore
This is kind of a different choice for her. Hopefully because it is a popular song right now, that will help her with the votes this week. I think she spent too much of the song in her lower register. I think overall that she gave a really strong performance.
My Score: 8

Audra (Team Blake)
"You Lie Here" by The Band Perry
That girl has some pipes! I think she gets stronger with every performance. She showed a lot of emotion and vulnerability in that song. It was really beautiful.
My Score: 9

Josh (Team Usher)
"This Is It" by Kenny Loggins
I am not digging this song at all. It was probably a good choice for his voice and his style, but I found it really boring. I think he's proven himself in previous weeks, so I think he'll be safe this week, but this was not one of my favorites at all. I hated the song. Vocally, he didn't miss a note, but I just couldn't get past the horrible song.
My Score: 7

Christina (Team Adam)

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 18.7

Hello Ricky Martin, and hello to beautifully bare abs and shaking hips! It's Latin night!

Amy & Derek - Rumba
For the first time, her legs looked a little awkward in the dance. The Rumba is so sensual, and her stiff legs didn't allow for the fluidity you would normally expect. That said, it was still very romantic and she danced it well. I would have liked to see a little bit more of a connection with Derek, though. [We just found out that Amy injured her back during the dance and is being looked at by doctors.]
Score: 36

James & Peta - Samba
OK, I hated Peta's outfit at first. But whoa, when he ripped off her overalls...holy moly! Oooh and there goes James's shirt! Hallelujah! Who cares that he is dancing perfectly because he looks just so amazing doing it! Hot, hot, hot! Their chemistry is insane. The choreography was amazing. I will be SUPER bummed if he goes home.
Score: 35

Danica & Val - Salsa
Poor Danica! I was so worried when I heard she broke her rib earlier this week. Val tweeted that they had missed 3 days of rehearsals. She is a real trooper to even be attempting this! The way she's shimmying you would have no idea that her rib is broken. How the heck is she doing that?! She looks so hot! I love the hip-hop moves. It totally suits the music. Val's choreography on this one is exceptional! That has to hurt so badly when he pulls her arms or twists her...or lifts her...oh my goodness!
Score: 33

NeNe & Tony - Argentine Tango
The tweets have spoken, and the people want Tony to dance with his shirt off! A whopping 90%! Woohoo! I love this song. How I would love to be NeNe dancing with all those hot guys right now! NeNe is really ruining this hot dance for me. I loved the guys...could have totally done without her part. I was so distracted by Tony's abs that I wasn't really watching to see how she was at doing the actual dance.
Score: 31

Charlie & Sharna - Paso Doble
Just like James...I'm going to be very sad if Charlie is voted out tonight. He is bringing a lot of passion, but he isn't quite all there. His leap could have been bigger and better. He seems a little off-balance and a little behind the music. That's so unlike him. He ended on a big note with running and catching her by the neck. Whoa! Oh, and he lost his shirt too!
Score: 36 (10 from Ricky)

Candace & Mark - Argentine Tango

I have to say, I'm entirely shocked that Candice isn't in jeopardy tonight. Candice looks great tonight! I think her meeting with the therapist helped her. She let it all go and didn't seem to have stage fright. She hit every move with her legs, which is so important in this dance. She captured the mood and the feel and her legs were amazing. They had some really great lifts. Way to go Candice!
Score: 35

Meryl & Maks - Salsa
No doubt that this was going to be hot. I love when he just throws her around. This routine was so fast and sexy beyond belief. She even showed off a lot of moves on her own away from Maks. There just really isn't anything she can't do.
Score: 39

Team Dances

Team Vida: Charlie & Sharna, James & Peta, NeNe & Tony
Whoa, guys flipping guys! They definitely have some strong male presence on their team. Nene seemed to be shaking in all the wrong places! The team stuff didn't seem to be too in sync, but the solo portions were all really good.  Unfortunately, they seemed to spend a lot of time everywhere but the dancefloor. I thin Charlie actually stole the show with his solo. I expected James to be the one to do that. The ending was really strong, but It seemed a little too slow. It felt like it should have been jumping and jiving all over the place. It just kind of seemed to drag in places.

I didn't even think about it that all of them in this dance are the 3 teams that are in jeopardy. That doesn't seem like a coincidence at all does it?
Score:35

Team Loca: Amy & Derek, Meryl & Maks, Candace & Mark, Danica & Val
How awful! Because Amy is hurt, none of them get to perform the dance live. They will be showing their rehearsal footage instead. I was so looking forward to this dance because I thought they were going to kill it. We all know that rehearsal footage never scores high. And poor Derek, he is undefeated in team dances. This could put an end to that.

They seem to all be doing well together and are in sync. They all look so amazing! I liked their transitions from one couple to the next. That's Derek's choreo for you. Wow, Mark had Candace upside down and spun her around! That was incredible. Ending it up with Meryl & Maks...could those 2 be any hotter? The caliber of this team is just so much higher than the other team. There really is no comparison. And we're seeing the rehearsal! Just imagine how good it would have been live! They performed it just about as good....couldn't even tell it was the rehearsal. I sure hope the judges score appropriately here. Shouldn't even be a close score. And how cool that the ones who could dance did for the audience. Love this group!
Score: 39

The Results

In Jeopardy: James & Peta, Charlie & Sharna, NeNe & Tony
The only outcome I will be happy with is if NeNe goes home. In absolutely no way, shape or form do James or Charlie deserve to go home before her.

Going Home: NeNe & Tony
I AM SHOCKED!!!!!! I thought for sure with her fan base that she would probably beat out James. I'm so glad that his talent has spoken for himself and the fans have rallied to support it. Hallelujah! My momma will be happy! She can't stand NeNe and was so ready for her to go. She's done well, but it was time to go.

Amazing Race, Ep. 24.9

Leg 9: Rome Italy -> Chiasso, Switzerland
Brendon & Rachel lead it off.

Dave & Connor are STILL bitter for Brendon & Rachel U-turning them. Caroline & Jennifer can't understand why they didn't U-turn the cowboys instead.

Brendon & Rachel make it to the train station. There are only a few minutes left until its departure. Leo & Jamal, Caroline & Jennifer, and Dave & Connor arrive and just barely make it on the train as it's pulling away. Unfortunately the 2nd place team, Jet & Cord, got a little lost, and they are now in last place. Boo!

On the train all of the teams conspire to get out Brendon & Rachel. That's so mean! It's a game people, grow up! Then they start making fun of them. Again, that's just mean. I'm so disappointed in the childish behavior of those teams. I thought they were better than that. Their new name is the "Accidental Alliance". This is because they just kind of fell into an alliance by all hating Brenchel.

The teams make it to the William Tell statue, and it says to wait for sunrise to see William Tell. This means that all of the teams are together again.

The teams take off for the next destination. Brendon & Rachel were in the lead, but made a wrong turn. Leo & Jamal laughed as they made the right turn and found the right bridge, because of their built-in GPS. No!!! All the rest of the teams chose the right bridge, and not Brendon & Rachel are in last.

American Idol, Ep. 13.30 & 13.31

Top 6 Theme: Country and Rock & Roll; they will each be singing 1 song from each genre

Jena
Rock Song: Heart's "Barracuda"
This is a pretty good song choice for her. She still does way too much screaming and not enough singing for me.
My Rock Score: 8

Country Song: Carrie Underwood's "So Small"
This is a nice choice. I prefer her softer, quieter songs. This song sounds so incredibly different than the original with her strange voice. I just know her fans are going to eat this up. When you know what the original sounds like, and you hear something so different, you're either really going to like it or really not like it. I just didn't really care for it that much for some reason. I think I just don't care for her voice. It's really hard for me to like her performances.
My Country Score: 8

Overall Score: 8

Sam
Rock Song: Imagine Dragon's "It's Time"
I love this song, but it's a very interesting song choice. Probably not one I would have thought for him. I don't like the backing music. I think he's so much better on his own. I think he rocked the song, and did a really good job. I always enjoy listening to his voice. The longer the song went on, the more I liked it. He really started feeling it, and it was really believable. Sometimes it seems like he's just singing the song, but on this one he was really feeling and believing what he was singing. (Whoa, J. Lo just said the same thing!)
My Rock Score: 9

Country Song: Shania Twain's "You're Still The One"
Interesting that he chose to lose the guitar on a country song. I'm not sure that was the best move. I will say that his voice actually sounded different without his guitar. You could tell he was really trying to connect with the audience since he didn't have to worry about the guitar. He even moved around and touched some of the fans' hands. The last time he did that, it actually really hurt his performance. This time it was really pretty good. I think I would have liked to have heard him sing this more softly and sweetly. He almost sang it too forcefully. Harry was right...it was all one volume. It needed to have some loud and soft.
My Country Score: 8

Overall Score: 8.5

C.J.
Rock Song: Lenny Kravitz's "American Woman"
First notes: out of pitch. Just when you think C.J. made a turnaround, he reverts back to his old self. Every time he sang "American Woman" it was flat. Some of the other parts were OK, but it made for a very uneven performance. I just don't see this as being something he would normally sing...it just doesn't really suit him in any way. It was upbeat, and everyone knows the song, so that still made it relateable.
My Rock Score: 6

Country Song: Zac Brown Band's "Where It Is"
Ouch, there were some ouchy notes. His voice fell off on the low notes, and he was barely audible. He was really feeling the song, but man, it was very hard to listen to.
My Country Score: 5

Overall Score: 5.5

Survivor, Ep. 28.9

After Tribal
Jefra asked who flipped and they found out it was Tony and Woo. Trish said she wished she knew ahead of time, but she realized that he had to do it and she still trusts him. Jefra is worried that because she didn't know, that means that she was on the bottom of the 6-person alliance. Spencer knows that Tony is a loose cannon and they have to get him out sooner rather than later.

Solarrion Camp
Tony knows he now has a target on his back for back-stabbing LJ. So now, he is in full-freakout mode. He is working on the blueprint for his 2nd "spyshack". He built this one next to the water because he knows everyone gossips at the water. His first victims were Jefra and Trish. They were talking about how Tony could win an award for his acting. He doesn't trust Jefra because she doesn't trust him. He said the only people he trusts are Trish, Woo and Kass.

Reward Challenge
2 teams of 4 collect paddles in the water; 2 team members will arrange the paddles to spell out a word. Winners get a nice food reward.

Teams:
Orange: Kass, Trish, Tony, Woo
Purple: Tasha, Spencer, Jeremiah, Jefra

Let's see if these teams are better at rowing than the Favorites from last season!

Jeremiah has to throw Jefra into the canoe! Tasha gets the first paddle for purple, and Woo and Tony get #2, as they pull ahead. Tony just lost a paddle! He had to get in the water and go after the paddle. He told them to go, but Jeff said he had to be in the boat to finish. Despite the goof, the 2 teams are still neck-and-neck.

Purple just paddled past their next box and have to come back. Orange makes it to the beach first, but purple is right there with them.

Spencer and Tasha work on the phrase for purple. Kass and Woo work on it for orange. Tony is spying on the other team again.

Spencer thinks he knows what it is and they change their strategy. Tony tells at Kass and she thinks she's right. It doesn't matter because Spencer was right and purple wins! Tony was all like "I told you so."

I bet the orange team is wishing they wouldn't have voted out LJ, the puzzle master.

The Voice, Ep. 6.17 & 6.18

A note before we get into the first live show:
Rather than make a specific post for this, I just thought I would pass along the 2 new confirmed coaches for next season, who will be joining Adam and Blake. CeeLo said after last season that he wouldn't be returning any time in the near future, and it was unclear if Christina would be coming back. Well, it's confirmed that Pharrell will be taking CeeLo's place, and Gwen Stefani will be taking Christina's place.

Now, onto the Live Shows!

Bria (Team Usher)
Adele - "Rolling in the Deep"
I love the rock edge that she accentuated in this song. It suits her voice and her style perfectly. I wish she would tone down the "wobble" vibrato just a little bit. She tends to do it a little too much for my liking. Other than that, it was a great performance. She really added her own spin to the ending, and it was definitely not karaoke, that's for sure. I really liked it!
My Score: 9

Delvin (Team Adam)
The Righteous Brothers - "Unchained Melody"
For an old song (which I'm usually never a fan of), I have always liked this one. Delvin has the chops to tackle this one and hit those amazing high notes. His voice transcends time and space. When he hit that high note...wow...just...wow. That was ridiculous and unhuman. It was a beautiful performance.
My Score: 8

Dani (Team Shakira)
Pink - "Just Give Me a Reason"
I think Dani might just be a dark horse in this competition. She has been gaining speed with every performance, the last couple of weeks. Last week was incredible. I kind of wish she would have done it on the piano like her last performance, but I get it that she can't do the same thing every week. Unfortunately, there were a few pitchy notes. But that big note, was huge! I wish she would have held it as long as she did in the rehearsal.
My Score: 8

Audra (Team Blake)
Juice Newton - "Angel of the Morning"
Her country version of this song didn't sound a whole lot like the original until it got to the chorus. I like the little inflections she does with her voice at the ends of words. But she needs to be careful to not do it too much. I think she gave a great performance. There might have been a few pitchy notes, but overall, it was really strong. The whole performance was a little boring for me though.
My Score: 7

T.J. (Team Usher)
John Mayer - "Waiting on the World to Change"
I'm so glad he's doing something modern this week! As good as he is, I'm finding that I just don't care for his style. I think that's what's keeping me from really liking his performances. I was really hoping I would like this because it's a great song, and it's more modern, and more pop than R&B. But with his style put into it, I just really didn't care for it. It was OK, and his voice sounded great, but I wasn't blown away.
My Score: 7

Christina (Team Adam)
Katy Perry - "Dark Horse"
I am not a fan of this song, but I think she sounds great. I think I like her version better than the original. I like the darkness she brought to the song. She really rocked it out at the end. Her voice is ridiculous on those high notes!
My Score: 9

Sissaundra (Team Blake)

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 18.6

Theme: Party Anthems
I think this is going to be a lot of fun! Can't wait to get the party started! I'm really loving all the theme weeks. It makes it so much more exciting when there is an overall theme that everyone ties into their different dances. Last week's Disney theme was awesome! I think it makes everyone's dancing better, because I think they have so much more fun.

NeNe & Tony - Salsa
Nelly - "It's Getting Hot In Here"
Look at Tony shimmy! Holy crap, I didn't know he could shimmy his chest that fast! Tony's choreography was really great! It looked like something Derek or Mark would have done. And then he even lost the shirt, which he normally never does! He looked amazing! NeNe definitely busted a move on that one. I didn't really see anything wrong with that; it was a lot of fun! She wasn't quite as fast as Tony, but it was still good.
Score: 33

Candace & Mark - ChaCha
Icona Pop - "I Love It"
I love her look this week! She seems to be thinking a little too much, and her face doesn't always match what she should be feeling. It got better the further it went. By the end, she was really rocking it out and feeling it. I think it was a pretty good performance.
Score: 32

James & Peta - Quickstep
"You're the One That I Want" from Grease
He is the perfect Danny, and she is the perfect Sandy! I know I say it (or at least think it) every week, but geesh, he looks so hot! The Quickstep is always so fast, I can never tell if they are missing steps or not. He seemed to be keeping up pretty well. I will say, I don't know that it was my favorite dance of his. I really wanted to love it. I think maybe it was too short...I think it was just so jam-packed...and even for a Quickstep...it was just so rushed. But, he's just great...love him!
Score: 35

Danica & Val - ChaCha
Whitney Houston - "I Wanna Dance with Somebody"
They are just way too cute together! She nailed every turn and every hand placement. She did really well on the parts where she was separated from Val. She owned the dance and had a blast with it. Great performance! She didn't seem to be thinking about the dance, she was just moving and going with what she was feeling.
Score: 36

Meryl & Maks - Tango

Amazing Race, Ep. 24.8

Leg 8: Rome, Italy
Brendon & Rachel lead it off.

There is a U-Turn in play, and Brendon & Rachel want to use it on the Cowboys so that might force them to use their Express Pass. But...the Cowboys said that this is the last leg that they can use their Express Pass, so it looks like they would probably want to use it any way.

Caroline & Jennifer and Dave & Connor continue to work together. The girls pick up tickets for the guys since they left just a little ahead of them. Dave was driving and lost the girls. He didn't do it on purpose, but the girls thought he did.

Detour: Donkey Run or Donkey Build
In Donkey Run, they have to ride a donkey around a ring 3 times before the band stops playing. In Donkey Build, they have to assemble a donkey.

Brendon & Rachel were going to build a donkey, but ended up at the Donkey Run instead, so they decided to do that. They tried to find fast donkeys, but Rachel's was too fast (thinking that the fastest donkeys were the ones who pooped)...she totally got dumped! Brendon fell off trying to slow down to help her. Dave & Connor asked where they got their hats, and Brendon & Rachel didn't answer. I was worried that Brendon & Rachel were going to have problems, but once Rachel laid down on her donkey, they were able to finish pretty quickly. After 4 attempts, Dave & Connor finish. In the meantime, the girls still haven't arrived and Dave feels bad.

Jet & Cord decide to use their Express Pass.

American Idol, Ep. 13.28 & 13.29

Top 7: Competitor's Picks
The contestants will be picking songs for each other. Each one picks a song for all of the other singers. From those suggestions, they pick one to sing.

Caleb
Kings of Leon - "Family Tree" (Alex's suggestion)
I'm not loving this song (I've never been a fan of Kings of Leon). He actually sounded a little off-pitch at the beginning (that's a first). He eventually found his groove and rocked it out, like only he can. It was another great performance.
My Score: 8

Jessica
Miranda Lambert - "Gunpowder and Lead" (Sam's suggestion)
Interesting start to the song...not really like the original (or what do I know, it's a country song). I am familiar with the song (because just about every country singer wannabe has sung it on their respective reality show). I really like this song for Jessica. It's a little bit rock, it's a little bit country. It's all of what Jessica does best. She did a great job with the song. I really enjoyed it.
My Score: 9

Sam & Alex
Passenger - "Let Her Go"
I love how collaborative some of the contestants are with each other. First Caleb and Alex, and now Alex and Sam. It really shows how talented this group of idols are this season. They take the music into their own hands instead of just being told what and how to sing. Sorry...went off on a tangent there.

I like the vibe they gave to this song. The original is a lot slower and not nearly as upbeat. The original is kind of a downer. This version works really well, to. I think they both sounded great together. They are both very different, but they also have some similarities. I think that might be the best duet of the season so far.

C.J.
John Mayer - "Gravity" (Caleb's suggestion)
I think this is a pretty good song choice for C.J. I wouldn't really have ever thought of him doing a John Mayer song, but it actually makes a lot of sense. If my ears don't deceive me, I think C.J. might actually be on pitch! This actually just helps to prove that Caleb is an all-around smart singer and musician, for picking this song, and showing us that C.J. can actually sing. That was his best performance by far. Wow!
My Score: 9

Survivor, Ep. 28.8

After Tribal
Tony calls Spencer out for trying to get him voted out. Tony said Morgan got voted out because she wasn't worthy of being there. He didn't understand why he, a balding 40-year-old is seen as a threat, when Woo is younger and more athletic. Even though his alliance has 6 going against the alliance of 3 sitting ducks, he knows that he could still be going next.

LJ and Trish notice how paranoid Tony has become and how he's really scrambling around erratically. Trish hopes that he can be patient and doesn't do anything stupid.

Tony sees LJ as a threat, but he's also a key member of his alliance. He is hoping to get LJ into a position where he has to lie or break a promise to another member of the alliance...basically because he doesn't want to have to make the move. He told LJ that Woo could have an idol and that makes him a threat. He is planting the seed and is hoping that it will turn everyone against LJ. I guess if LJ would start talking about going after Woo that would make everyone else mad. He's just stirring up trouble.

Reward Challenge
They break into 3 teams:
Orange--Jefra, Trish, LJ
Purple--Kass, Tasha, Woo
Green: Jeremiah, Tony, Spencer

Reward: spa day

Jeremiah puts his team in the lead. LJ is next. Woo finally got his sand bags released. Jeremiah continued to do well throwing his sandbags, but LJ was even better and didn't miss one.

Tony pulled his team ahead by getting his sandbags bounced into the basket one after another. And it's Green team for the win!

Tony knew going into the reward that often at rewards people make bonds because they have time away from the rest of the tribe at camp. He said he's going to talk to Jeremiah and Spencer about blindsiding LJ. Nooooooo! Not liking Tony right now!

The Voice, Ep. 6.16

The last night of the Playoffs...next up is the live shows.

Team Usher

T.J.
Rufus & Chaka Khan - "Tell Me Something Good"
His voice is so clear and smooth. Not my favorite song choice, but he sounded incredible. It got a little boring towards the end. I wish he would have done something a little more interesting with the song.

Melissa
Beyonce - "Halo"
She has a beautiful voice. Her voice cuts like a knife. She showed a range of high and low, and loud and soft. At the end she did a routine of complete acrobatics! Those notes were all over the place. Maybe a little over the top, but wow, that was quite a feat to tackle.

Stevie Jo
B.B. King - "The Thrill Is Gone"
I wish he would have picked a more modern song. I don't know why all these people think they have to sing such old fashioned stuff. That said, I love Stevie Jo's voice, and I think he sang this song so well. He did make it sound a little more modern. He showed off everything that he is good at. He sounded great. Towards the end, his voice sounded a little bit ragged, like he was sick or something. It sounded pretty forced. Since Adam didn't pick Jake and Morgan last night, Usher better pick Stevie Jo!

Bria
Rolling Stones - "Wild Horses"
She is so talented beyond her years. She knows how to perform a song. I love all the different things she can do with her voice. She can be sweet and soft, and then she belts out this heavy rock with grit and rasp. The pain and feeling she has in her voice sounds like she should be 40 years old. It's ridiculous that she's able to make her voice sound like that at such a young age. Wow. That was so good!

Josh
Bruno Mars - "It Will Rain"
This should be a pretty good song for him. I like the way his voice sounds on this song. It really gives it a different feeling than when Bruno Mars sings it. It seemed to drag a little bit the way he slowed it down, but it was still really good. He had some great, big notes. He nailed them pretty good (better than what it sounded like in the rehearsal). He lost me a little bit when he got down on his knees. When he got down, his notes seemed to miss just a little bit, but on his way back up to his feet, he found the notes again...and discovered some very nice high falsetto notes. Overall, it was pretty good.

Usher's Final 3: Bria, Josh, T.J.
No!!! I really wanted Stevie Jo!

The Voice, Ep. 6.15

The Playoffs continue...the remaining judges must narrow their 5 singers down to 3.

Team Shakira

Kristen
Carrie Underwood - "Two Black Cadillacs"
I am always surprised by her country voice. It's a classic case of 'voice doesn't match the body'. I do not care for her style at all, and because of the disconnect, it just always seems weird to me. She has a decent voice, but as with most country singers, you could say that most of them all sound the same. I didn't hear anything that stood out, except for a few really long notes that she held. The pitch on those notes was spot-on. I like Carrie Underwood's version so much better. It's actually a country song I like, and still I was not as blown away as all of the judges were.

Deja
Jordin Sparks - "Battlefield"
I love this song! I hope it's not too big for Deja. She has a tendency to be very meek. This is a really, really powerful song. She needs to bring it! (Side note: this is the 2nd American Idol song of the night...hmmm.) She looks so different this week with bangs...I don't think I like it. She started out really good, but she really needed to blast that chorus! Her second time on the chorus was a little better, but it still needed to be bigger. Jordin really blows the speakers on that song, and it's really hard to match. I think Deja did an OK job, but the song was just a little too big for her. It was a step in the right direction though. I think she needs to continue to do songs like this that will really push her.

Tess
Christina Perri - "Human"
This is a great song, and I think she's going to do it really well. Wow. I love how slow and softly she started the song. Then she slowly built it up to an amazing ending. I have been so impressed with Tess in every round, and she has been let go twice (and stolen twice), which just blows my mind because she is so good. I think she's one of my favorites in the competition right now. She has perfect pitch. She knows how to use her volume so well. Some people only have quiet or soft, and she can do both so well. I loved that performance. Adam pointed out all of the things that I love about her: pitch, power, control...the list just goes on, and on, and on.

Patrick
Ray LaMontagne - "Trouble"
Sadly, I don't even think Patrick would have had to sing tonight, because regardless of how well he performs, Shakira has a soft spot for him. I think he absolutely gets a spot. I'm not blown away by him. We've seen/heard guys like him on the show before. I don't think he's anything too special. He's still too inconsistent for me. When he's good, he's really good. But he still tries to hit high notes that are too far out of his reach, and it just screeches like gravel on glass, and it's really painful.

Dani
Lady Gaga - "Edge of Glory"
She sounded amazing, and her piano playing was a nice touch. Wow. Just wow. That was an absolutely amazing performance! I think I counted her out, but she brought down the house with that performance. She could not have done any better. She had so much emotion, and it added to her performance. I love how she decided to do the song. It was a great choice for her.

Shakira's Top 3: Tess, Kristen, Dani
I am SHOCKED she didn't pick Patrick! But I'm so happy! Dani absolutely deserved to get picked after her performance.

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 18.5

Theme: Disney Night!
Guest Judge: Donny Osmond

Drew & Cheryl - Quickstep
Theme: Aladdin
They are dancing with the Genie! How cool! Cheryl makes a really good Jasmine. Drew did a great job with the theatrics and his face always says 1000 words. It was a fun routine, and he did it really well!
Scores: 28

Charlie & Sharna - Jazz
Theme: Mary Poppins
They weren't quite in sync right at the start. It did get better, and there was so much going on! They had the canes and umbrellas to work with which made the dancing even that much more crazy. Charlie dropped the cane once, but got right back into it and didn't really miss a beat. It looked like they popped right out of the movie, it was incredible! That was a tough routine, with a lot of very quick steps!
Scores: 37 (10 from Len, and Len's first 10 of the season)

Danica & Val - Quickstep
Theme: Beauty & The Beast
I love the candles on the floor at the beginning! I will never understand how they can make it come to life like that with just lights! Danica looks gorgeous, and Val is certainly no beast! She did a great job. There was one little part at the end where it looked like she lost her place a little bit and didn't get her hands going at the same time Val did. Other than that, it was beautiful.
Score: 39 (10s from Carrie Ann, Donny and Bruno)

Amy & Derek - Waltz

Amazing Race, Ep. 24.7

Leg 7: Sri Lanka -> Rome, Italy
Leo & Jamal lead it off

I'm shocked that the Cowboys immediately knew where the "eternal city" clue was without even asking. Meanwhile, Rachel shouts "Ethiopia, Africa!". Oh boy...I sure hope they ask someone.

It looks like all the teams are going to be on the same flight.

Seat placement was key on the plane. Several teams were in the back and got stuck, and couldn't get off the plane. John & Jessica, Brendon & Rachel, and Leo & Jamal all got off quickly, while the rest of the teams were stuck in the back of the plane.

Speed Bump
Caroline & Jennifer have to go to the Pantheon, get a typewriter, carry it to a building that looks like a typewriter, and place it on a pedestal.

Detour: Gladiator or Charioteer

American Idol, Ep. 13.26 & 13.27

Top 8 (again), Theme: 80s

The Idols get to work with David Cook! He's one of my all-time favorite Idol alums! He is so talented and I love his music. He had some great advice for the contestants.

Jena
Joan Jett - "I Love Rock and Roll"
I like how she slowed this song down at the beginning and played the piano. I think this when she sounds her best. This is one of my favorite performances of Jena's. She didn't seem to be forcing it so much like she has on some of the rock songs she's done in the past. It was well done and she rocked the vocals. I always thinks she sounds off-pitch (even though the judges never seem to think she is), but tonight, she sound right on. So, again the judges and I disagree on Jena, because they criticized what I loved about it.
My Score: 10

Dexter
Georgia Satellites - "Keep Your Hands To Yourself"
I love that David pointed out that you can't understand the words that he's saying. It must have been the help from David this week, because Dexter was a new man! Whoa! What happened?! He sounded great, and he had energy. He moved around the stage and actually showed some personality. I am absolutely blown away! Where has this guy been all season?! This is what I've been looking for from him all season. I'm speechless, how much I actually enjoyed that!
My Score: 9

Sam & Alex
Michael Jackson - "The Girl Is Mine"
I like this duo. It was much better than both of their duo pairings last week. I hated the song, but they sounded good together. However, it sometimes sounded like they weren't singing in sync, and were kind of stepping on each other vocally. Other than that, I think they did a good job.

Malaya
Chaka Khan - "Through The Fire"
I am not crazy about this song, but I think she sang it really well. Her voice was so big and open, and we heard her do some high notes that I didn't know she could hit. It was borderline over-the-top, but not quite. She reeled it back in and kept it under control. It's definitely not my favorite performance of hers, but it still shows how much she's grown since the beginning of the competition.
My Score: 8

Caleb & Jena
Bryan Adams & Tina Turner - "It's Only Love"
Caleb sounded amazing, as usual. I didn't really care for Jena on this song. They seem like they would be a good pair, but Caleb just dominated her. I actually liked the second half of the song better than the first half. It was a pretty good performance overall.

Jessica
Blondie - "Call Me"
I think this is a great song for her. She is doing an amazing job at picking songs. I am totally distracted by the fact that her striped shirt is exactly the same stripes as the letters in her name in the background. Wow, that was weird. On to the song, I think she did a great job. David told her to make contact with the camera and the audience more, and she did that. She moved around, she showed more emotion and she looked like she was enjoying herself, which David also mentioned.
My Score: 9

Sam
Cindi Lauper - "Time After Time"
I can't wait to see how David's advice will help Sam. This was a very interesting arrangement of the song. I'm not sure I love it. His voice sounds great, and because it's such a stripped down version of the song, you can hear his voice really well. I loved when he really kicked it up another notch. I wish the whole song would have been like that. It was a good performance, and the girls who were 5 feet away from him really seemed to like it. One thing that bothered me was that you could tell he was trying to look and connect with the audience like Harry told him last week, but his eyes just kind of dart from one side to another, and it was a little distraction.
My Score: 8

C.J. & Malaya
Aretha Franklin & George Michael - "I Knew You Were Waiting"
C.J. already struggles with pitch, and you get him walking around, and it doesn't help. Malaya also doesn't do too well when she's moving around so much. This was not great. They were kind of all over the place. Individually, they weren't too bad, but their harmonies were not really clicking, with the exception of the last notes, which sounded pretty good.

Alex
The Police - "Every Breath You Take"
Great song choice again for Alex. I look forward to what he's going to do every week. I think David will really click with Alex because they are actually very similar, in that they are really good at rearranging songs and making them different. I am not crazy for the way he arranged this song though. There's never a question about his vocals though, he's always spot-on. The song is almost unrecognizable, the melody and everything is completely different than the original. I love that he takes risks and is skilled enough to even think about such different arrangements. I don't think this was the best arrangement he's come up with, but I will never fault him for making things his own, because that's what I love about him. I think I'm just so used to the original, and there wasn't really anything of the original left. He still sang it well.
My Score: 8

Dexter & Jessica
Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers - "Islands In The Stream"
Dexter started out way too low and soft, and his pitch was not good. What is up with the nice jacket, jeans and then the backwards hat? That just looks weird. Jessica sounds great, but Dexter can't harmonize with her at all. The last line of the song sounded really good. Parts in the middle seemed a little off-tempo, but it came together in the end, and wasn't a bad performance overall.

C.J.
Tom Petty - "Free Fallin'"
I love this song, and I'm anxious to hear him sing this. Finally, a song I can relate to from C.J. He tends to pick such strange, random songs I've never heard of. Right away...major pitch issues...again. Why can't he sing in tune? I don't get it. I like what he did with the song, by slowing it down, but it really exposed his lack of being in tune. It was kind of painful at times. Poor guy. How long will his fans keep him in the competition? At this point, he just needs to go. As much as I like him, and generally enjoy his performances (despite the pitch problems), he's technically the weakest singer in the competition.
My Score: 6

Caleb
Journey - "Faithfully"
Did you realize that Caleb has sang either 2nd to last or last in the last 3 shows? How'd he get so lucky to get such prime real estate? I am SO happy that Caleb listened to what the judges have been begging him for: a "ballad" and not just him rocking out. He can be whatever they want him to be, and he can sing whatever and however they want him to. I knew he had this kind of a more subdued performance in him. His voice sounded absolutely amazing (like there was any doubt). I know this is his favorite song, but it just happened to be the ABSOLUTE BEST SONG CHOICE for him this week. I am in love with this performance! I am just in awe of his greatness right now. Holy crap! I think he's destined for stardom, and I hope I'm right about him winning this season!
My Score: 10

My Bottom 3: C.J., Sam, Malaya
Most Likely will be the Bottom 3: C.J., Sam, Malaya
My Pick to Go Home: Malaya
Most Likely will Go Home: Malaya

The Results:

Bottom 2: C.J. and Malaya

Going Home: Malaya

Survivor, Ep. 28.7

After Tribal
Spencer congratulated the other alliance for making a nice move. He said he wasn't mad, but he told Kass she made a bad move. Kass told her new alliance that she hopes they look out for her. I love that Spencer was saying how embarrassing it was for her to be talking about strategy. From what I've read from former Survivors, there is not one person who thinks what Kass did was a good idea or strategic in any way.

Kass is whining about Morgan being rude to her. Kass likes to talk down on drama, but she whines and gossips just as much as everyone else! Morgan thinks Kass needs to go, and she thinks she's just a bitter old lady. Ha!

Reward Challenge
2 teams race through obstacles in the water. They drag a chest to the top of a large tower, where a puzzle will be completed. Reward: Outback Steakhouse food, margaritas and desserts

Orange: Jeremiah, Morgan, LJ, Jefra, Spencer
Purple: Tony, Trish, Tasha, Woo, Kass

Woo falls off the balance beam! What?! He's known for his balance...what happened? He was the only one from either team to fall. That holds up the rest of the team because they can't go until he gets across.  But he made up a ton of time by flying up the wall!

LJ and Spencer on the puzzle for Orange and Kass and Woo on the puzzle for Purple.

LJ and Spencer were flying! Woo and Kass started getting frustrated, and their pieces just weren't going together. And it's Orange for the win! Again, LJ is on the winning side of a puzzle...he is just dominating!

The Voice, Ep. 6.14

The first episode of the Playoffs - The 5 members of each team will perform a song they choose, the coaches will then pick 3 of them to move on to the live shows.

Team Blake

Audra
This was a perfect song for her. I think she sounded amazing. She performs with a nice balance of country and pop and doesn't go too far into the country side which lets her show off her really big voice. Her last notes were really strong.

Ryan
I am so impressed with his song choice. I absolutely love this song, and it's so not what we've seen from him before. I like that he kind of went away from the country stuff and took that into rock, while still keeping a little of the country in it. I think his voice is just a little too high and too nice for this song. He didn't quite rock it out like I would have liked to have heard this song done. It was still pretty good, and he sang it well, with some really big, long notes that were quite impressive. One thing I noticed at the end was that he seemed to be running out of air and he was cutting off the ends of the words.

Madalyn
She is just too cute! I think the song got a little too big for her. There were times that she was just too wimpy (for lack of a better word). She could have really pushed it, but she was just a little to nice about it. I don't know if it was the nerves getting the best of her, or if it was just the song choice or what. I've heard her better and I've seen her more confident than this. It was an OK performance, but she just didn't seem to be connecting with the song. It was kind of lazy. Adam said it perfectly when he said she needed to let go more and not be so worried about being perfect. It looked like she was thinking too much about hitting the exact perfect notes.

Jake
Oh man, he's back to the full-blown, cowboy hat style of country.  I hate this kind of country, and I did not like the song. If he's going to sing songs like this, he can't leave this competition soon enough. I will say that vocally, he sang it well, it's just not what I like to listen to. I don't see anything about him that sounds any different than any other male country singer. He just doesn't stand out as unique and he isn't overly impressive vocally.

Sissanudra
I didn't care for this song at all, but she sang the crap out of it, just like she does everything. It took me forever to even figure out what song it was. It seemed to go on forever, and not in a good way. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an earthquake recorded during that song because she is so loud, I'm sure everything just shakes. And I also did not care for the weird run of notes she did at the end.

Blake's Top 3: Sissaundra, Audra, Jake

The Voice, Ep. 6.13

The Battles, Round 2

Team Adam

Dawn & Hawkes vs. Kat - KT Tunstall's "Suddenly I See"
I think this song is right up Dawn & Hawkes' alley, but yet it also suits Kat really well too. I wasn't really digging Dawn & Hawkes part of the song. I think Kat was really killing it. Even though the song suited them both, their styles didn't really mesh together well. I think Dawn & Hawkes were pretty boring, even though their vocals sounded good. I think Kat should win this one. Blake said it perfectly: it was almost like Dawn & Hawkes were backing Kat up. They really didn't have a moment to shine like Kat did.
WINNER: Kat

Britnee vs. Jake - Usher's "Climax"
The 2 Usher steals going head to head, doing an Usher song. I love Jake...go Jake! I am not a fan of this song at all. I think it shows off Britnee's vocals, but it doesn't show off the best of what Jake can do. I hope this song choice doesn't do him in. There's way too much falsetto in this song.
WINNER: Jake

Team Blake

Kaleigh vs. Ryan - Rascal Flatts' "Easy"
I just realized that he sounds a lot like the guy from Rascal Flatts...which is funny, because that's who they're singing. I had to look up who sang this song, after I had just typed who I thought he sounded like. I think they sounded really good together. I don't think either one stood out over the other, they were pretty equal vocally. Kaleigh's voice is just so pretty. I hope she wins.
WINNER: Ryan

Team Shakira

Clarissa vs. Dani - Pink's "Perfect"
I don't really think their voices blended together very well. Clarissa sounded off at the beginning, and again towards the end. Dani seemed pretty right on, and I think she killed it. I would definitely go with Dani.
WINNER: Dani

Team Usher

Music Box vs. Melissa - Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire"
I didn't really care for how Melissa over-pronounces every word. They sounded pretty good, but I think Music Box was probably a little better. Melissa had one weird quick high note. She also had some interesting note choices, but I liked what she did at the end of the song.
WINNER: Melissa

Bria vs. Madilyn - The Pretenders' "I'll Stand By You"
I love both of them. I'm glad Blake has a steal, so both of them will be staying. The question is: who will be on Team Usher and who will be on Team Blake. They both sound really good on this song. It's nice to hear Bria do something a little more mellow. Her voice is really amazing. But so is Madilyn's. They both have really good pitch.
WINNER: Bria
BLAKE STEAL: Madilyn

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 18.4

Switch-Up in the Ballroom!
Based on viewer votes, all of the stars will be partnered with new pros (for this week only). Another switch is that no one is going to be eliminated tonight. The scores will be combined with last week's scores and the lowest vote-getter will be sent home next week.

Julianne Hough is the guest judge this week.

Candace & Tony - Quickstep
How cute are they with their pink hair! They look like they are having so much fun! I'm sure Tony is thinking "so this is what it's like to be with a contender". Tony went full-out with this choreography! It was so fast! That was so much fun to watch!
Score: 28 (60/80)

James & Cheryl - Tango
Loving the opening with Cheryl on the throne! James looks awesome with his shirt jacket open. Whoa, he just did a cartwheel! I'm liking him more and more every week. He is totally nailing the stern character. He looks so serious! They look so good together and are so in sync. I didn't know how good their chemistry would be, but that almost-kiss was steamy! Whew!
Score: 35 (71/80)

Drew & Witney - ChaCha
The beginning solo Drew had was hilarious! This is the fastest we've seen him move, and for the most part, he actually kept up. There were a couple times he lost it just a little bit. I think Witney did a great job on the choreography of this dance.
Score: 33 (63/80)

Danica & Maks - Jive
How cool! From one Chmerkovskiy brother to the other! Sweet little Danica was really putting him in his place. Ha! I love her outfit, she looks amazing. They looked like they were having so much fun! I love the character that Maks was playing...he was so cute! This dance was really moving, and I think she did an absolutely fabulous job! Julianne was really brutal in saying that she thought he phoned in the routine so he could get back to Meryl. I think that was really unfair. I thought the choreography and his performance was his normal stellar standards.
Score: 32 (68/80)

Charlie & Peta - Rumba
Finally! Someone has forced Charlie to do something with that unruly hair of his! Not sure it's the best look, but at least it's something different. I never realized it, but he looks a lot like Steve Zahn. I LOVE the color of purple in their outfits! Gorgeous! I wasn't so sure about this match-up, but they worked very well together. And, I mean, Charlie is just really talented. We've seen him dance enough to know that he can dance just about anything. They showed a lot of chemistry and it was a really beautiful dance. It was a little creepy though how their hair looks exactly the same!
Score: 33 (69/80)

Amy & Mark - Salsa
I love how serious Mark is taking Amy's training. It was so cool to see him and Derek comparing notes about how to help her and work with her. This song was really strange...not what I would call a Salsa. The whole dance was a little strange as well. I kind of expected more from Mark. I think she did a really good job with it though. I think it was the song that was really making me question what was going on.
Score: 34 (70/80)

Cody & Sharna - Foxtrot
2 Aussies! How cool! Sharna's putting him in his place! How cool, he's singing at the beginning of the performance! That's never been done before! I hate what the show singers are doing to this Jason Mraz song :/ They look so good together! There's that classic Cody flare...adding in just enough to this classic ballroom style to be respectful of the dance, but also show his personality. That was so cute!
Score: 31 (66/80)

NeNe & Derek - Jazz
What?! This is the ONLY pairing that makes NO sense! There's no way that America picked this pairing! I thought for sure it was going to be Meryl and Derek. I'm so bummed....except their costumes look awesome! What the heck is NeNe wearing?! This is the strangest Jazz routine I've ever seen! NeNe is rocking it though! I think it's like an African Jazz...which Derek has been known to do in the past. This will most definitely be her highest scoring number. And oh my goodness, he just did a jump over her! Whoa!
Score: 32 (63/80)

Meryl & Val - Argentine Tango
Is it a little strange that both girls switched Chermkovskiy brothers? Seems kind of fishy to me. I wonder if Val will be as infatuated with Meryl as Maks is. Yep...he's braiding her hair! OMG! She looks amazing! This tango is so fast! How the heck is he spinning that fast with her?! Oh my, she just did a front walkover over his leg and back. That backbend was sick! Oh my...I can't even believe how good that was! Ridiculous! That better get all 10s!
Score: 39 (78/80)

American Idol, Ep. 13.24 & 13.25

Top 8, theme: Audition Songs

The singers will also be paired up in duets.

Jessica
Her own song "Blue Eyed Lie"
I actually liked her original song in her audition. It sounds even better with the full band. She's so talented. She can sing absolutely any genre and sound amazing. I think she shines even more singing her own song. I think I would have liked it a little more if she wouldn't have been singing stationary on top of that big podium. I think she should have been moving around and really rocking out to it. Either way, it was still a great performance.
My Score: 8

C.J.
The Allman Brothers "Soul Shine"
From his first audition with this song, I was a fan of C.J. since then, he hasn't really lived up to my expectations of him. His pitch continues to be an issue, and I don't think he's going to get a handle on it in this competition. He's lucky that his personality on and off the stage still make him likable. Otherwise, he would have probably been voted out already. This was a good performance, but at this point in the competition, there are so many other good singers, and his talent just isn't quite up to par with the rest. That said, this was one of his better performances.
My Score: 7

Jena & Alex
Pink & Nate Ruess "Just Give Me a Reason"
I love this song, it's one of my favorites. They sound really good together and I like this arrangement of the song.

Sam
Ed Sheeran "Lego House"
I absolutely LOVE this song, and I loved his audition. At first, I wished he would have sung the faster version that he did in the audition. But, the more he sang, the more I liked it. I think his voice sounded great tonight. I think this could be his best performance yet. I'm hoping this popular song will help him get some more votes this week.
My Score: 9

Jessica & Caleb
Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty "Stop Dragging My Heart Around"
Great song for them to sing together. They sound amazing together! They even performed well off of each other and made it a really cool performance to watch. Can they sing a duet every week, please?

Malaya
Aretha Franklin "Ain't No Way"
I was a little bored with this performance until the end when she started getting into it. I really don't like the song, but she sang it well.
My Score: 7

Dexter
Brett Eldredge "One Mississippi"
So, Dexter promised that he could bring something different if he stuck around. I know he didn't have a choice with the song this week, but he could have done something different with it. He's still boring and mediocre to me. This was better than some that he's done, and it was a little "different" in that the song was more of a ballad than straight up country. But, it wasn't that different. I don't think the judges should have given him quite so much credit for bringing something different.
My Score: 7

Malaya & Sam
Colbie Caillat & Jason Mraz "Lucky"
This is the perfect song for Sam, and it's definitely something different for Malaya. I wasn't sure she would be able to pull off a pop song like this, but she rose to the occasion! They are so different vocally, but they came together beautifully. I did think that she came off a little bit too fake and bubbly, and that made her voice a little high and squeaky in a couple places, and she was pitchy in a few places as well. Overall, it was a really cute performance.

Jena
Adele "Rolling in the Deep"
I do not care for this version of the song AT ALL. I get wanting to make it different than the original. But if you're going to do that, it should at least be good! The arrangement was horrible. It felt like it was just dragging and not going anywhere. It got much better in the second half, and she nailed the big vocals at the end. Not may favorite performance of hers, but it was still decent.
My Score: 7

C.J. & Dexter
Darius Rucker "Alright"
I'm getting beyond bored with these 2. I want to still like them as much as I did at the beginning of the competition, but I just can't. They're stuck in a county rut. I like singers who make bold choices and surprise me every week. I'm never surprised or blown away by what either of these 2 sing...ever. It was a nice performance, just like you could hear at any county fair. Nothing special.

Caleb
Aretha Franklin "Chain of Fools"
Again, Caleb's bold choice shows how he separates himself from the mediocrity, that is a couple other contestants (*cough* C.J., *cough* Dexter). He sang this song, originally sung by a woman, and made it totally his own. And he owned it. His vocals were spot on, just as they are every week. And he doesn't just sing, he puts on a performance. That's what makes him fun to watch, and makes me anxious to see what he's going to be singing every week. I think my pick for him to win it all is safe for another week.
My Score: 9

Alex
His own song "Fairytales"
Alex is so frickin' talented! I can so hear this song on the radio. I loved it the first time he sang it, and this was even better! I think he just gets better every week. And every week, I love him just a little bit more. If Caleb ever gets voted off, I'm changing my pick to win to Alex!
My Score: 10

My Bottom 3: C.J., Dexter, Malaya
Most Likely will be the Bottom 3: C.J., Sam, Dexter
My Pick to Go Home: C.J.
Most Likely will Go Home: C.J.

The Results:
A LOT of people are saying that there is going to be a save tonight. My opinion is that if it is in fact C.J. going home, that the save won't be used. However, if anyone else goes home, I think it is definitely a possibility. I would hope that with all of the judges calling C.J. out for his many pitch issues, that they would see that he's had his fair chance on the show. There is absolutely no need to give him a second chance, for him to just go home next week. I sure hope I'm right about this. I like C.J., but it's time to do...he just doesn't match up to the other 7.

Bottom 3: C.J., Sam, Malaya
Arg! Again, Dexter is safe! What is up with that? I thought for sure I had him right this week. Again, I was so close to picking Malaya as my 3rd bottom 3 person along with C.J. and Sam. I'm always so close.

Going Home: Sam
Seriously?! I know I say this every week, but I was so close to picking Sam to go home. All the blogs and articles I read were so sure it was C.J. this week, so I didn't think I should go too far out on a limb...especially since Nancy was also picking C.J. If she had been right and me wrong, I would move much further down in the standings. Should have taken the risk this time.

And it's unanimous...they use the save! Sam lives to sing another week. Most likely, next week will be a double elimination.

Survivor, Ep. 28.6

Earlier today, Spencer tweeted: "Tonight, in my honest superfan opinion, is one of the most exciting tribal councils in Survivor history". I can't wait to see what he meant by that!

After Tribal
Spencer thinks their group of 6 will run the game if they merge tomorrow. As a group, they decide who to pick off first when they merge. Trish's name was the first one mentioned. But like Kass said, it "sounds" like a good plan. And it only works if they no one flips. [this will be absolutely key later on]

Kass told Sarah she was worried about her or Jeremiah flipping. Sarah was offended and swore she was with them 100%. Sarah said that by Kass not trusting her, that that would make her want to think about flipping.

Solana Camp
Tony is just livin' it up and having so much fun. Maybe too much fun...he might be letting his guard down.

Treemail says to pack up their stuff...the merge is coming!

LJ and Tony secretly go and dig up their idols before they head off for the merge.

The Voice, Ep. 6.12

More of the Battles, Round 2

Team Adam
Adam didn't have any battles tonight

Team Blake

Biff vs. Sissaundra - James Brown "It's a Man's, Man's, Man's World"
Talk about 2 huge powerhouses! They both came out of the gates with their volume set on 15. It would have been nice if they had more than just one volume. They could have started out softly and worked up to the eardrum busting vocals. That said, their voices are undeniably good. They were both equal in every way. Sissaundra's last big note was epic! I gotta think there's gonna be a steal on this one.
WINNER: Sissaundra

Team Shakira

Ddendyl vs. Deja - A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera "Say Something"
I don't really care for Ddendyl's voice, but I'm a fan of Deja. Ddendyl sounds like a little baby when she sings. Deja just has such a beautiful voice. I got chills when they hit the big chorus. They blended really well, but Ddendyl's solo parts ruined the song for me. I thought the song ended really strangely, it was like there was supposed to be something else to resolve at the end and it just kind of abruptly stopped. I sure hope Deja wins this, and Shakira doesn't go for the odd voice of Ddendyl.
WINNER: Deja

Emily B. vs. Kristen - Dixie Chicks "I Can Love You Better"
WINNER: Kristen

Team Usher

Stevie Jo vs. Morgan - One Direction "Story of My Life"
I like these two so much, I don't want either of them to go! I didn't remember that Morgan had so much rasp in his voice. I love Stevie Jo's tone. Morgan tends to be a little shaky and a little flat. Stevie Jo, on the other hand is right on pitch the entire time. Stevie Jo has a really nice range as well. Morgan really rocked the 2nd part of the song. Stevie Jo had amazing vibrato on his last solo parts. As they were going back and forth at the end, they both sounded amazing! Got chills! Stevie Jo did some really cool things vocally to change the song and it sounded really cool. I think I would have to give it to Stevie Jo on this one.
WINNER: Stevie Jo
ADAM STEAL: Morgan
