Guy Talk
Jeremy and Judd think that the BBMVP is going to be a girl every week because people always like the girls. So, Jeremy thinks he needs to cozy up with every one of the pretty girls to make sure they like him. He doesn't think it should be too hard because he is very charming.
Girl Talk
The girls (Aaryn, Jessie and Kaitlin) start talking about the cute guys in the house. They decide to come up with nicknames for some of the cute guys...
David=Ken
Nick=Manhattan...scratch that--Big (that one just doesn't even make sense...it would make more sense for Jeremy)
Jeremy=The Sailor (um...I think people will figure that one out)
Rachel, Rachel, Rachel
All the houseguests are talking about Rachel and doing Rachel impressions. It starts to really get under Elissa's skin. It's all she can do to sit there and not say anything.
Alliance Talk
Nick and Jeremy talk in the backyard. Nick thinks that he, Jeremy, Howard, Spencer and McCrae should be in an alliance because they are all challenge threats and are seem very trustworthy. Jeremy couldn't be happier about this, because he already has a secret alliance with Howard and Spencer.
I sure hope someone is keeping track of all these alliances and sub-alliances, because this is getting confused.
I like that Nick is taking charge with all these alliance invitations, but if he's too social and too in control, that could put a target on him later in the game. He is so smart, figuring out the odds of being safe now that 3 people are going on the block.
And the name of this alliance is "The Moving Company". I LIKE IT!
Shomance: Aaryn & David
Aaryn tells David that he might need to save her in these competitions. She's in luck because he's totally ready to come to her rescue. He thinks she is smarter than him, so it will be good to work with her. Not only that, but he said he came into the competition for more of a showmance than the money. Seriously, dude? Dude...I mean...like...come on.
Showmance: Jessie & Jeremy
Jessie has a crush on Jeremy and she thinks that he looks like Jacob from Twilight, and she is like Bella. Oh my...so immature. I mean, I love me some Twilight, but that's just crazy. Poor Amanda has to listen to her go on and on about her having crushes on Jeremy and Nick and wanting Amanda to go talk to the guys for her and not wanting to make them jealous. Amanda really could care less about this stupid high school crap. Jessie: GROW UP!
The Secret Is Out!
Judd...who was going to keep the secret he knew about Elissa being Rachel's sister...he tells McCrae. Oh well...EVERYONE else in the house is talking about it. Well, everyone except David that is. He's all like "who's that?". So Aaryn explains who Rachel was, and he's all like "Aaryn is one smart cookie" for figuring that out because he had no clue. Holy crap, what an idiot!
They all think that she should have just been up front about it. Since she hid it, they wonder what else she's hiding. They also thing it's insulting if she thinks they won't figure it out. So, Elissa=instant target.
Eventually, she confides in McCrae and tells him who she is because she's afraid people are figuring it out...but yet she doesn't want him to say anything to anyone. McCrae isn't sure what he wants to do. As a superfan of the show, he is excited to play with Rachel's sister. But, on the other hand, he might become a target if he doesn't take her out.

Big Brother UK 14: Week 2 Recap
Nominations for Week 2:
Dexter: 10 votes
Gina: 8 votes
Jemima: 5 votes
The housemates each nominated 2 housemates, and Dexter, Gina and Jemima received the most votes. Dexter was nominated because they think he listens in on conversations and spreads rumors which result in arguments. Gina was nominated because she doesn't do much to help others in the house and isn't getting much out of the experience. Jemima was nominated because many feel that she likes Sam more than as a friend and it makes others uncomfortable and that she isn't polite when she asks for things.
Saved:
As a result of public votes, Gina was saved because she had received the fewest votes for eviction. That meant that either Dexter or Jemima would be evicted. In their pleas to be saved, Dexter said he should be saved because he has more to show and he wants to continue to make friends to take outside of the house, and Jemima said she has more to show as well and more entertaining things to do in the house.
Jail:
Big Brother told the housemates that some of them had violated the rules by talking about nominations. As a result, the rule-breakers would have to spend some time in jail. The offenders were: Joe, Hazel, Jackie and Jemima.
Zombie Virus:
The housemates were awoken one morning with a loud alarm and Big Brother telling them that there were zombies outside and infected crew had entered the house. There were only 6 gas masks and they had to decide which 6 would get them. The remaining housemates would be exposed to the virus and would have to be put in Quarantine. They decided that Callum, Hazel, Daley, Charlie, Joe and Wolfy.
The 6 safe housemates needed to try to cure as many of the infected housemates as possible to get food in their shopping task.
The first antidote would be administered to Gina. She had to drink an awful concoction of sheep eyes, fish, and other gross stuff, and then be tipped upside down! I couldn't believe she attempted it, let alone completed the task. She was then cured and allowed out of Quarantine.
Next was Dan, and he was to be subjected to poisonous, creepy animals (snakes, cockroaches, etc.). He was strapped in a chair and blindfolded while Callum and Hazel used fake objects to touch him, causing him to scream in sheer terror. It was actually really, really funny...only because it wasn't really happening to him. He was then cured and let back into the house.
Jack and Jackie were chosen next by Charlie and Joe. They were to have hair samples taken, which meant shaving a strip of hair right down the middle of their head. Jack did it, but was very upset afterward. Jackie refused and was sent back to Quarantine.
After 24+ hours in Quarantine, all were allowed back into the house. I think this whole thing was just cruel. They were locked away for an extremely long amount of time, under some pretty terrible conditions, and then were subjected to some really awful punishments.
More Trouble:
Gina got herself into some more trouble because she hid some alcohol in the house, which is not allowed. She did it because of what happened to her in Quarantine and how awfully she was treated. Big Brother told her to go to jail, but she refused. Because she refused, the food won in the shopping task was not going to be delivered to the rest of the house. She didn't even care...very selfish.
Game of Hide and Seek:
Big Brother challenged the housemates to a game of hide and seek with Jack and Joe. All the housemates were to one by one slip away, unnoticed into the storage room. Wolfy was last and she pulled it off by leaving Jack and Joe in the tree house while she said she was going to the bathroom. They eventually got tired of waiting for her and went into the house and found it completely empty. Eventually, they found the entire house hiding in the storage room.

Big Brother, Ep. 15.1
It's a new season of Big Brother and I couldn't be more excited. I've watched every single season, and now my obsession has taken me to the likes of Big Brother Canada and Big Brother UK. The Canadian version ended it's very first season about a month ago, and the UK version started it's latest season just a little over a week ago. That means, I'm pulling double duty with both the US and UK versions at the same time. Wish me luck!
Now onto the first night in the very newly renovated BB house! Expect the unexpected!

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 10.8
And so the competition begins! Week #1 of live shows:
Mariah & Carlos - Jive
Crazy flips and lifts! They both had really good energy and it looked like their technique was pretty good. Their kicks and flicks were a little out of sync in a couple places, but overall it was really good.
Jasmine M. & Alan - Contemporary
Yay for Travis Wall! I love the routine already, before even seeing it. OMG they're blindfolded!!! You can feel their chemistry, even though they are blindfolded (Mary noticed it too!). I love the story. Travis always does such an awesome job telling a story that's easy to figure out, and then picking great music to compliment it. These 2 have really great technique and absolutely sold the piece. Great job! That trust fall (or drop, as Wayne Brady said) at the end was crazy!
Malece & Jade - Jazz
Another Travis routine! What a great beat in the music. They are working very well together. It's a very different routine from what Travis usually puts together, but it's very entertaining and fun to watch even though it's on the more serious side.
Jenna & Tucker - Broadway
I think Jenna might be my favorite girl this season. There seems to be a lot of messing with the props and lots of frantic moving around, but not a whole lot of dancing going on. That's disappointing because these 2 are such good dancers. The dancing they did was great, but there wasn't much of it. They definitely played their parts and characters well.
Brittany & BluPrint - Afro Jazz
It wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. I think they did a good job with the choreography they were given, but it was a bit boring in places. Which sounds odd for an Afro Jazz piece.
Alexis & Nico - Hip-Hop
Love Christopher Scott, and welcome back Cyrus! This routine really played to both of their strengths and gave them each a chance to shine in the spotlight. When they came together in unison, they were together just about the entire time. there was a ton of very intricate hand movements and other really technical moves and they handled it all so great! (I obviously watched something different than Nigel did.) I love these 2!
Makenzie & Paul - Viennese Waltz
Very beautifully danced. They looked like hey were floating. All of their moves and lifts flowed seamlessly from one thing to the next. I liked the story and the props, it helped it not to be just a boring ballroom dance.
Jasmine H. & Aaron - Jazz
Love Sonya! Jasmine's legs bend in ways that just shouldn't be humanly possible! These two were just made for this routine. They both have incredible power behind every move they do. The entire dance was mesmerizing and awesome. Enough said.
Hayley & Curtis - Hip-Hop
Those 2 brought the chemistry. Very slinky and sexy hip-hop. They were in sync and each did really good.
Amy & Fik-Shun - Contemporary
Yay for another Sonya piece! I love Fik-Shun! I think he's amazing. For such a small guy, he can really do the lifts well. I love the emotion they both have. Wow, that slow cartwheel he just did was amazing! I don't know how they can hold some of those moves for so long. Absolutely amazing. Loved it!

The Bachelorette, Ep. 9.5
The guys and Desiree are in Munich, Germany. Drama, drama, drama...can't wait to watch it all go down...
One-on-One Date: Chris
Not much is happening on their date, but they seem to be having fun doing things in the city. Chris says he doesn't think that anything could go wrong on the date...
Meanwhile, back at the house...Bryden is still struggling. He thinks something is missing and things just aren't progressing the way he thinks they should. I'm wondering why he bothered to go all the way to Germany. He was feeling this way before the last rose ceremony, and had even contemplated not accepting the rose. So now, he can't wait any longer, he is going to go find Des on her date with Chris and tell her he is leaving. He thinks she will appreciate him doing it sooner rather than later. I think, he's now ruining her date with Chris. She isn't thinking about Bryden right now...it could have waited until after their date was over.
They are dancing and having fun in the street, and then there's Bryden. They have a brief conversation and she says goodbye to him. She did have fair warning since he talked to her about his feelings at the last rose ceremony. She was a little upset, but she didn't want to let what happened ruin her time with Chris. She said she didn't really need to talk about it...yet...she kept talking about it, quite a lot.
And then at dinner, Chris brings it up. OK, let it go already! So, moving on...Chris wrote Des a poem on the plane ride to Germany. She definitely liked it, and he had her in tears. And, he got the rose.
After the dinner, guess what, the date isn't over...shocker! What Bachelor/Bachelorette date wouldn't be complete without a private concert by a semi-famous singer/songwriter. Tonight's "special' performance was by Matt White.

Big Brother UK 14: Week 1 Recap
It's been an eventful first week in the house. Especially since it appears that there is a BB episode every day of the week, which is different than the US and Canada versions. Here is a recap of the biggest events this week.
On the premiere, we were introduced to all of the housemates, and we were informed that Michael was not a true housemate, but an actor there solely to do the bidding of Big Brother and the public.
Michael was given a few special tasks, including:
1) As Head Housemate, Michael was to make 3 nominations, which would be based on the public's votes. He nominated Gina, Sallie and Dexter.
2) Based on the least number of eviction votes by the public, Michael was to save one of the nominees. That person was Dexter.
3) The house had a food challenge, Michael's job was to sabotage it so they lost, and he was successful.
Other hi-lights from the week:
Warnings were issued by Big Brother to:
1) Gina - for threatening and lunging at Sallie
2) Sallie - for her foul language
3) Jemima - for making some comments that could be seen as racist and/or offensive
Showmance:
Callum and Charlie have been getting pretty close. I'm not sure they can be classified as a showmance quite yet, but I think it's coming.
Evicted: Sallie
Also Evicted: Michael
Big Brother revealed Michael's secret and owned up to all of his antics, stating that he was only carrying out the public's wishes. Big Brother also revealed that the housemates' suitcases are all safe and will be returned to them.

Big Brother Season 15: Twists and Cast Bios
Big Brother starts in 6 days!! Get excited people, I think it's going to be a great season. Earlier this year, we were teased with the idea that this season was going to be supersized--more is always better! They supersized the number of days in the house to 100, and the cast of 16 would tie for the most ever.
Season 15 Twists:
Yesterday, CBS revealed the 2 major twists for this season:
1) Instead of 2 people being nominated each week, there will be 3!
2) America will vote each week for an MVP, who will then have a special power that isn't being revealed until the first episode.
Anyone familiar with Big Brother UK will notice the similarity of the 3 nominees. The producers note that the MVP twist will help to eliminate floaters. Since the MVP is supposed to be who America thinks is playing the best game, this will force people to change their strategies. Floaters who do nothing in the house will not likely win America's vote. Since we don't know what the MVP's "secret power" is, judging by how much the producers think this will affect gameplay, I'm betting that the MVP might be able to save themselves if they find themselves on the block that week.
House Changes/Updates:
Also changing this season is the house. The BB house got a MAJOR makeover. Lots of changes in look and style, but a change that might be a little more subtle, but has a lot to do with twist #1--the 2 nomination chairs in the living room have been replaced by a small couch instead, that would seat...about 3. Here's your first look inside the house:
Season 15 houseguests:
Now, what we've all been waiting for...today the cast was announced! BB alums have been tweeting rumors for days, and today we get to see which of those rumors are true. I think only one of them: BB13 winner Rachel Reilly's sister is a houseguest. Love her or hate her, the female half of "Brenchel" was definitely a character. I for one, am hoping that Elissa is a lot quieter than her sister. This world only needs one Rachel. One way that Elissa will be entering the house differently than her sister, is that she is married. So, we can only hope that that means that she won't be going around the house yelling "No one's gonna come between me and MY man!"
And without further ado, let's meet them, shall we? Following the bios, look for my first impressions.
These are the 16 people we will be spending the summer with:

The Voice, Ep. 4.24 & 4.25: The Finale
The Finale
Danielle
Song #1: She re-sings "Maybe it Was Memphis". Beautiful and amazing as always.
Song #2: Ditto above. No need for me to just write the same things over and over and over. Love her...enough said.
Michelle
Song #1: She re-sings her Taylor Swift song. I think she did better than the first time she sang it. She could have been a little stronger on the high notes in the chorus, but overall it was a pretty good performance.
Song #2: Singing in the mirror again...oh wait...the mirror isn't moving with her...that's weird. I'm not loving this song for her. It's kind of flat and boring, there's not a whole lot going on. This song seems to last forever! Vocally it might be one of her best performances, but the song was not my cup o' tea.
The Swon Brothers
Song #1: Yuck...not liking this song choice at all. It's very different for them, I hope it doesn't hurt them too badly. Vocally, it's very good as always, but it might be straying too far from their country roots.
Song #2: They re-sing "Danny's Song" from last week. This may have been a great performance for them, but I think maybe their turning point was a few weeks ago. They could have picked any number of songs to re-perform I think. Not sure why you'd want to do one from just last week. Great performance, nonetheless.
Who's Going To Win?
I've been saying for weeks that I think Danielle has this in the bag. She's been a clear front-runner the entire competition. She has not had one single bad performance. She's easily been the most consistent. She's totally likable and relatable, and she's been doing very well on the iTune charts. I would be surprised if she doesn't win. However, The Swon Brothers have continued to amaze me every single week. I had them out the first week, and the week after that, but somehow they managed to keep getting the votes, and they really grew on me. I'm a fan. Michelle has also been surprising. I see why people vote for her, but I don't really think she can win. Vocally, I'd say she's the weakest of the 3. But, what she lacks vocally (sometimes), she more than makes up for with heart and passion in her performance.
And the Winner of The Voice Season 4 Is.....

The Boys are off to Atlantic City
Whoever said "Des is gonna be there" should be sent home right now. Wow.
One-on-One Date: Brad
I cannot figure out who he reminds me of. It's been bugging me for weeks, and I can't put my finger on it. Maybe after his date it will come to me.
They spend some time walking around and riding rides. They go to get some salt water taffy. But Des smells chocolate, so they go on the hunt for where the smell is coming from. This included going where it doesn't look like normal people are supposed to go. They walk right into the production line and pick some of the chocolate right off the assembly line. Yeah...that's not planned at at all.
Time for dinner and it couldn't be more boring. He just really doesn't have much to say, ever. They don't really seem to have anything to talk about. She could ask him questions about his son, or pretty much anything about his life to get him talking, but she doesn't really seem to have any interest.
After dinner, they climb to the top of the lighthouse...where she dumps him. Nothing like an awkward walk down that lonely spiral staircase...all alone. And no, I still can't figure out who he reminds me of ...darn it!
Group Date: Brooks, Bryden, Zack K., Kasey, Drew, Juan Pablo, Zak W., Mikey, Ben, Michael, Chris

Big Brother UK, Ep. 14.1 & 14.2
Oh, I'm so excited! I've never watched BBUK before, and I can't wait! I find British accents so fascinating, so this should be great.
First impressions as the houseguests, or I should say "housemates" enter the house:
1. Jack & Joe--they are twins entering the house as 1 housemate; one is gay, one is straight...they're hilarious. One of them totally slipped going down the stairs going into the house!
2. Sallie--whoa! apparently the UK gets away with a lot! Lots of side-boob showing with that outfit, and those shorts...yikes!
3. Jemima--she looks really fake, like she's had a lot of plastic surgery, and her eyes really creep me out. She's dressed like she's entering the Miss Universe pageant, not the Big Brother house. She said she's looking for love and is a self-proclaimed gold digger. Watch out guys!
4. Michael--he thinks he's sort of cute and nerdy. He doesn't think he'll be a threat to the guys because he's not an alpha male. His job is a postman...haha! BUT WAIT!!! The secret of the season is just revealed...he says that everything he has just said about himself is a lie! He is actually a professional actor who was picked by Big Brother to work for the viewers, as the "People's Puppet". He is there to stir things up and create chaos. He doesn't have housemate status, so he can't win the show...he's only there for our entertainment. Oh boy...love it!
5. Callum--what a cutie! Finally someone good-looking to watch! He sounds, and looks, like quite the charmer.
6. Wolfy--what? Seriously, is that her name? She is quite the gal. She needs a serious makeover! Her look just screams "yuck!" And...she's a lesbian fisherwoman...yeah. If you have trouble remembering who she is, just look for the large girl with the big bandanna, fish tattoos and no shoes.
7. Sam--he looks like he's 12! He also looks quite a bit like Harry Styles. Good luck trying to understand anything he says! Wow! If I heard him right, he's actually deaf and wears hearing aids. That explains part of the reason why it's extra hard to understand his Welsh accent.
8. Sophie--this blonde says she's not a dumb blonde. She works in her dad's scrap yard and has a black belt in karate.
9. Dexter--what a player...literally, he is/was a male prostitute!
Let's get it started...
Big Brother calls for someone to go to the Diary Room. Everyone in the living room watches as he is told that he is the Head Housemate. He then has a choice: keep his suitcase, and all of his housemates' suitcases will be destroyed, or save all the housemates' suitcases and his will be destroyed. He chooses to keep his suitcase, and the rest are to be destroyed by a giant shredder. Most of them are extremely kind to him about his decision. Sallie wasn't as OK, and she suspected foul play. We then learn that it was all a joke (big surprise; could they have really left them all in there with no change of clothes?).
My first thoughts on night 1:
It's going to take some getting used to the very different house, referring to the Head of Household as the Head Housemate, etc. The UK version is just all around very different than the US and the Canada version. So far, I'm loving the twists and the overall fresh take on the show (since I've never watched the UK version). I can't say that I'm blown away by the housemates...yet. The last BB season I watched was BB Canada, and it was totally awesome. It will be very tough to beat that season. I'm also hoping that I can keep up with the episodes, seeing as our very own US version starts on the 26th.
Part 2...
6 more housemates will be entering the house to join the 9 that already entered last night.
10. Gina--another completely fake looking lady! What is with these girls and their fake hair, tons of make up and skimpy, skimpy clothes? She thinks there should be a maid in the Big Brother house...spoiled much? She came out to more boos than anyone, I think...even more than Dexter. Wow, I think she might be the most annoying person we've met so far. All she could say when she entered the house was "Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God..."
11. Dan--another cutie! Yay! He's a police officer (or was) and has a son, and he's...gay! What?! Darn it! Sounds like he lives a pretty reckless lifestyle for a police officer.
12. Hazel--another pretty girl, and she's a model. She's definitely the prettiest of the group and she doesn't wear too much make up. Thank you!
13. Daley--he's an undefeated professional boxer, and not too bad to look at either. He seems like a pretty normal guy with a good head on his shoulders.
14. Charlie & 15. Jackie--mother/daughter; they've had a tense relationship in the past, but seem to be doing better in the last year. Their almost like twins...they laugh and talk in unison. Interesting that they get to play as individuals, while Jack and Joe are 1 housemate.
Michael, the People's Puppet, gets another assignment. The public voted online for his task. Big Brother calls him into the Diary Room again. Big Brother tells him that he can have a pizza and a beer as a luxury, but he would sacrifice the 6 new housemates' suitcases. The public voted for him to save the suitcases. Oh, and all of the other housemates watched the entire conversation in the DR (even though BB told him it was just between them...but he obviously was in on it the whole time).
His next secret is that as Head Housemate, he is immune from nominations for the week plus he will be the only one nominating 3 housemates for eviction. (Apparently, in the UK version, all housemates make nominations every week, so this is not something that normally happens?). So, once he makes his nominations, the public votes on who is evicted (also something that is different than the US and Canada versions...where normally it's the houseguests who vote each other out). Can't wait to see who he nominates.

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 10.6
The 159 dancers who made it through the audition round, now move on to Vegas...
I don't think it's worth recapping every dance we saw, so I will just recap notable eliminations.
Round 1: Solos
The dancers perform solos in hopes of getting a room key to advance to the next stage.
Right off the bat, they eliminated 53 dancers, including some of the dancers I liked the most and that I thought had a really good chance of going far:
Donovan Gibbs
Caleb Brauner (one of my absolute favorites!)
Kaitlyn Rodriguez
Shane Garcia
Round 2: Choreography
In this round the following memorable dancers were eliminated:
Toshihiko Nakazawa (casualty of the hip-hop round)
Shanshan Qiao-Rothlisberger (casualty of the jazz round)
Tommy Tibball (casualty of the ballroom round)
Round 3: Groups
A few cuts were made, but no one memorable from the audition round.
Round 4: Choreography
Eliminated:
Jennifer Jones
Misha Smagen
Final Cuts
Armen Way
*There were obviously a lot of other cuts made, but if they didn't say/show their name, I don't remember their faces enough to know who they were, or if they were someone we saw in the auditions.
33 dancers are left and will face the Green Mile next week, and the top 20 will be announced.

The Voice, Ep. 4.22 & 4.23
Team Adam
Amber
Song #1: Katy Perry is a different song for her. It starts out WAY too low. I know she needs some room to be able to hit the high notes, but she's gotta be able to sing the low notes audibly. This is the first performance of Amber's that I just really don't care for at all. She sounds very off-key. She just pulled out her ear-bud, so I am wondering if she can't hear herself. She's always spot-on and amazing. And she can sing everything from country to Adele, but this was just bad. Yikes. I wonder if the coaches will be honest, or if they will say it was good. Nope.
Song #2: She is singing one of Adam's songs. This song sounded off really shaky as well. But it did get better. It still was not one of her better performances though. Adam said she did it justice and was overjoyed with how she performed the song he wrote.
Team Blake
Danielle
Song #1: Wow. Little Danielle is growing up right in front of our eyes. She looks so grown up tonight. She just doesn't have a bad performance. She is simply amazing. She just makes everything sound so effortless, like she isn't even trying.
Song #2: Another really good performance. Enough said. She is singing like she's already got this show beat and she's coming back to the show to perform.
The Swon Brothers
Song #1: This is a great song for them. I love the dark stage and just a few lights, it really gives a cool vibe to the song. And then the explosion of lights as they hit the chorus with a bang! Very cool. Great performance. The more I hear from these guys, the more I like them.
Song #2: This isn't my favorite song, but it's still a good performance. I like that they are so versatile. They have the whole straight-up country thing where they just jam away on the guitar, and then they pull out the more mellow harmony with piano. Very lovely.
Team Shakira
Sasha
Song #1: She starts off really shaky and it just sounds awkward. The arrangement was a little too slow and boring. It definitely got better as it went on, but I didn't think overall it was that great.
Song #2: Another different look for her. She's really grown into quite the performer. There were parts of this that I loved, and parts that were just kind of annoying. For the most part it was a lot of fun because it was really upbeat.
Team Usher
Michelle
Song #1: I'm starting to feel like she's singing the same songs, in the exact same way every single week. I'm ready to see/hear her do something a little different. She needs to work on the beginnings of her songs. She tends to start off kind of weak, and then build up to make the ending really great. If you listen to the beginning, she often cracks and her voice really fades in and out. It was a good performance, but not outstanding.
Song #2: She took my advice on her 2nd song, and had a much stronger beginning. This was a really good performance for her.
The Results:

The Bachelorette, Ep. 9.3
Can't wait for the drama tonight! We are going to learn about Brian and his big lie...
Group Date: Chris, Brian, Drew, Michael, Brooks, Brad, Mikey, Brandon, Zack K., Ben
We know this date is going to end badly for 2 reasons: (1) They are playing dodgeball, so this means that this physical competition is bound to be painful and possibly get out of control, as they literally "fight" for Des (2) We see Brooks being taken away in an ambulance in the previews.
They are playing against professionals, and those guys throw bullets! That's gotta hurt! Chris Harrison comes in to "save the day" and tells them it's time to stop getting pummeled. They are now going to play against each other. Winners get to continue the date with Des and the losers go home.
The randomly assigned teams are: Red--Mikey, Michael, Brooks, Chris and Brandon and Blue--Ben, Drew, Zack, Brad and Brian.
Not only do they have to compete against each other, but they are competing in front of a very large crowd. The guys come out with some serious game faces on. You would think they were fighting to the death. The red team even had their own little chant to get amped up. Blue countered with their own chant. Pretty funny stuff.
Game 1: It comes down to Chris (red) vs Drew (blue) and Drew wins! So it's Blue-1, Red-0
Game 2: Red came back with a vengeance and Brandon got the winning shot for the Red team. All tied up at 1-1.
Game 3: Right off the bat as they scramble for the ball, Brooks is on the ground and they think he broke his finger. The paramedics told him he needed to go to the hospital to get it reset. The game resumes and it's down to Chris (red) and Zack (blue). Zack finally hits Chris and the Blue team comes away with the win for the game and take the prize of the after party by winning 2-1. But...after the game, Des announces that she is going to take both teams to the after party because it's still early and she needs more time with each of the guys.
We check back in with Brooks and he says he passed out and woke up with oxygen tubes in his nose. He looked like he was in pretty bad shape, but that bad from just a broken finger?
Back at the after party, Brad gets the first one-on-one time with Des. He's been wanting to talk to her and tell her that he has a 3-year-old son named Maddox. He has custody of Maddox and his mom and his brother help him a lot. His relationship with Maddox's mother wasn't good. She was an alcoholic, and one night, she stole his keys and he tried to stop her and he was the one arrested. Then he tells Des that if she wasn't the Bachelorette, he wouldn't have done the show. Big stuff from Brad tonight.
Chris was worried he wasn't going to get to talk to her, so he decides he needs to make a big move. Somehow, he finds a "secret spot", which was basically the rooftop...and he just "happened to find it". He thinks after his talk that he has the rose in the bag.
Next a limo pulls up and it's a very disheviled-looking Brooks with his wrapped up finger. He knew he had to show up because he didn't think he would get another chance to talk to her before the cocktail party, before the Rose Ceremony. She's very happy to see him, and they both said that they've missed each other. Of all the guys, we only see her make out with Brooks.
Finally, Des hands out the rose, and wouldn't you know, Chris gets it! His rose means some bonus time with Des, and they get serenaded by Kate Earl (no idea who she is, but I like her performance!). Meanwhile, the rest of the guys aren't that far away, and they see them kissing.
The Drama....duh duh duh (insert ominous music)

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 10.5
Memphis Auditions
Who to watch for in Vegas
Dorian "BluPrint" Hector
He is a part of the Dragon House crew that Cyrus came from last season. He's very good, and hits every beat of the music. He says his style is like a robot that is malfunctioning. I can see that. I'm not sure that it's more creative than other things we've seen, but it was still good nonetheless. Mary thought he was good enough to be on the hot tamale train.
Curtis Holland
He's a very fast tapper. He brought a lot of excitement and high energy, that's for sure! I enjoyed his facial expressions and that he moved around and used the whole stage...which is what most tappers lack. I usually find tappers rather boring and dull, but not him.
Tucker Knox
He showed a lot of strength and control, which is amazing after hearing about the horrible accident that he had. When he did that forward flip and landed sitting up perfectly, that was just incredible. Wow...that was absolutely incredible. One word I would use would be "breathtaking", and Mary just used the same exact word!
Courtney Thurston
She's kind of a tiny girl, but she danced very big and with a lot of heart. Her jump into a side split was ridiculous! She was very cute and had a lot of personality.
Shanshan Qiao-Rothlisberger
She did a traditional Mongolian dance with balancing bowls on her head. Very beautiful and elegant. The moves she did while keeping the bowls on her head was incredible. She went to choreography and was a surprise to move on to Vegas.
Nico Greetham
His jumps and flips were incredible! His legs were so flexible...way over his head! Loved it!
Elyse Frelinger
She's a flying trapeze artist as well as a dancer. I love the crazy pose she had at the beginning of the dance. She was so flexible, and she had beautiful lines. She got some really good compliments from the judges for not having danced very much.
Jenna Johnson
She danced the Cha-Cha. Her legs were incredible. She's got a great personality and I think she could do really well in the competition.
Novien Yarber
His dancing was very surprising based on how he looks. You would think he would do hip-hop, but it was more contemporary. His flexibility was ridiculous! He pulled his leg all the way to his head! His jumps and leaps were incredible!
Caleb Brauner
At first I just thought he was a very weird dude, but he's really funny and very talented! He would be fun to watch in this competition. I hope he goes far! I loved the comedy in his routine. It wasn't gimmicky, it just added to the great performance.
Jasmine Harper
She dated Cyrus! She was really good. Very graceful, yet powerful.
The 200 dancers from the audition rounds are now off to Vegas week, next week!

The Voice, Ep. 4.20 & 4.21
Team Adam
Amber
Song #1: I really liked this performance. I love that she is so versatile and doesn't always have to sing the country songs. Last week Adele, this week Skid Row.
Song #2: I am not crazy about this old song choice. Vocally, it was a masterpiece, and her last note was beautiful, but not my style at all, so it was actually pretty painful for me to listen to.
Team Blake
Holly
Song #1: I didn't really care for this song at all. It's really "country". Most of it was sung way too low. I don't think that's where her sweet spot is. I think she did a decent job singing it, but it wasn't my favorite.
Song #2: I don't care for this song that much. The phrasing and repetitive notes at the beginning were just weird. The end was better than the beginning, but I'm not so sure about it.
Danielle
Song #1: Classic Danielle. All-around good performance.
Song #2: Another really good one. Even though it's country, I still enjoy her performances. Her last big notes were really amazing! It just proves what an amazing voice she really has.
The Swon Brothers
Song #1: Nothing new and exciting on this song, just another solid performance of what they do best. I don't think it was the best performance they've given though.
Song #2: You can't get much more country than this song. It's a good thing they are good performers, and have a fun charm about them, or I probably would have hated this.
Team Shakira
Sasha
Song #1: Slow, boring, old-fashioned and most likely her ticket out of the competition. Vocally it was really good as always, and she sang the heck out of it at the end, but it's not going to get people to vote for her.
Song #2: It must be country night, or just an attempt to try to steal some of the country votes from the 4 country acts, because the one person furthest from country is singing a Carrie Underwood song. Very interesting take on this song, and quite an interesting dominatrix-esque type outfit she was wearing. Overall, I liked this performance. It was much better than the first. I don't know if it will be enough to save her tomorrow though. Or...I could be wrong, judging by how loud the audience went nuts.
Team Usher
Michelle
Song #1: I love this song: Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know". This is kind of a different song for her. It started kind of slow (like usual), but she really got into it, and it ended up being a really good performance (like usual). I don't think it was as good as her Pink songs, or her Bruno Mars song last week, though.
Song #2: Michelle gets a surprise visit from Taylor Swift, since she is singing her song this week. Anyone who knows me, knows my dislike of Taylor Swift. Michelle should be giving singing lessons to Taylor, and she proved that she can sing better live than Taylor could ever dream of. Taylor: take some notes...and some vocal lessons...please and thank you.

The Bachelorette, Ep. 9.2
One-on-One Date: Brooks
Brooks scores the first one-on-one date. I didn't have the best first impression of Brooks, but he seems to be pretty genuine.
They go to a bridal store and she jokes with him that he needs to try on a dress. He looked less than thrilled, but he was game for it. Luckily, she was only joking. They had fun trying on dresses (only her) and lots of different colored suits (him). At the end, he carried her out of the store in a wedding dress, and then they went to look at wedding cakes. Is it just me, or do we see the lead take someone to some sort of clothing store every single season? Not all that original, if you ask me.
Next, they go on a winding drive up into the hills, and she surprises him by taking him to see the Hollywood sign. Copycats! Not original at all...Ali and Frank went there a couple seasons ago. They shared quite a bit as they sat on the sign (the 2nd L, to be exact). He was sweet and gave her his jacket. Finally, he ended up with the first kiss from Des. I'd say this date is going quite well.
The evening portion of their date is also a repeat: a dinner on a bridge, with a chandelier hanging over top. This is a copy of Kalon and Lindzi's date on Bachelor Pad. (Are they really out of ideas, so they have to recycle everything they've already done?)
Things get emotional when they talk about their families. This is the first date and they are already getting into some deep topics. Brooks is going to have a huge lead on all the other guys. He obviously gets a rose. And, the date isn't over yet...they get a private concert by Andy Grammer (one of their better musical choices...as this is another thing that happens every season).
Group Date: Dan, Juan Pablo, Zack K, Will, Brian, Drew, James, Mikey, Zak W, Nick, Michael, Brandon, Ben and Kasey
