Who to Look for in Vegas:
Ashley Goldman and Phillip Kudryavstev
Ballroom dancers--both are very good. She's very spicy and sassy and he's very serious and strangely doesn't talk much. As she said, she does most of the talking.
Kaitlyn Rodriguez
Her 16-year-old brother had to step in and learn a routine in 3 hours because her partner couldn't make it. She showed a lot of technique in her salsa. He was really good as well! The were more impressed with him than her, and the fact that he learned the routine so quickly. But she did get the "hot tamale" from Mary.
Jennifer Jones
Awful music choice...not my cup o' tea. She was a decent dancer, but she didn't wow me the way she wowed the judges. I found her a little creepy and I think she wears way too much makeup.
Tommy Tibball
I've never seen anyone with toes pointed that much, wow! He danced with a lot of power, passion and emotion. His kicks were so high. He is crazy flexible for a guy! I really enjoyed watching him.
Jennie Begley
Her spins were incredible. She had very beautiful lines. She was hitting the beats so hard. Really unique.
Jason Kidd
He's so cute! He's great at what he does. He makes his body jiggle in places you wouldn't think possible. I enjoyed watching his face and how he performed to the music. I'm a little surprised the judges put him straight through to Vegas, but good for him.
Shannon "Shizzy Shake" Tarantino
She's just a tad strange. Not quite sure what to think about her. Her dancing was exceptional, but her personality was kind of annoying.
Elena & Gene Bersten
Husband and wife ballroom duo. Both were very good, but nothing really stood out to me about either of them. They seemed to dance a bit slow to the music. It seemed like it was more upbeat and they should have been dancing a little more peppy.
Alexis Juliano
I'm sorry, I'm just not a fan of tap dancing. She did have some cool moves, though.
Anthony Savoy
He looks so familiar. I feel like I've seen him somewhere else. He has really long and skinny legs, my goodness! He's very flexible and he just floats across the floor.
Kate Kapshandy
Her look is so fake! Really annoying! Her hair looks fake, her face looks fake. She was good, but I didn't think she was as good as the judges thought she was.
Toshihiko Nakazawa
He does not understand or speak English well...at all! He is a very strange, funny dude! That hair and outfit, my goodness! He described his dancing best when he said it was like a video game. He was really all over the place at times, and so many different styles. Not really sure what to think...very unique. I wasn't as impressed as the judges were. I'm really surprised they didn't send him to choreography. I highly doubt he can do much else.
Honorable Mentions:
Natalie Fields
She danced with a very large lamp shade...I didn't really get it. Best line of the night from Nigel: "Are you going to turn yourself on?" It was just very bizarre, at some points you couldn't see her head, she was a headless lamp shade. Other than the weirdness, she was a good dancer.
John Tesoriero
He works with a beat-boxer...very cool. Lion's tail--not so cool. It was very cool how every one of his moves matched up exactly with his beat-boxing partner.
Ernest "E-Knock" Phillips
I totally remember this guy from Season 3! It's been a long time since we've seen him. A lot has happened to him personally since we last saw him. His dance was an incredible tribute to his cousin who died a couple years ago. Part of the music was actually a tv report about his death. Wow. That was incredible! So emotional. Not a dry eye in the house. Totally gave me goosebumps. First of all, I can't believe that performance didn't send him straight to Vegas, and second of all, I can't believe they didn't send him to Vegas after the choreography round! From what they showed us, he was nailing it! I don't know how they didn't think that that was good enough. Ridiculous!
Un-honorable Mention
Anthony Bryant
I remember him too! The feminine ribbon dancer from Season 1, and then the mad, upset guy in camo from Season 4. So this season, he looks like he's wearing a dress. I didn't see anything that impressing. It was just really strange again from him. The music stops and he keeps dancing slowly, and it just was weird. He gets really good critiques, and they praise him on how much he's grown and matured. All is looking good, until they say they would like him to go to choreography. He immediately replies "Oh, I don't want to continue then." Really, dude?! Some attitude! That's always been his problem. I think he might be bi-polar or something. He is not all there.

The Bachelorette, Ep. 9.1
Sean's reject is now America's new Bachelorette. It's time for Desiree's, aka Des', fairy tale journey to love...or maybe not (we know the track record of the show, right?). Des' theme for the season is "rags to riches" and basically a Cinderella story. We hear about her humble upbringing, and I'm betting this isn't the only time this season that we'll be hearing about it. And there it is...she said she feels like "Cinderella in the flesh".
I really hate how they drag out the opening episodes. So, we get to see Des drive around in a new car they are letting her drive, and she's roller blading down the street. We need to see this, why? Now, she's sketching on the beach and going down a sliding board...wow...this is so cheesy! And from cheesy to crazy...she literally just screamed and chased after some seagulls on the beach.
Des sits down to talk to Chris before the guys show up. Cue "Cinderella" reference #2...blah! And it's time to get ready to meet the guys! Do we always see the lead getting dressed and doing their makeup? I don't think so...that's usually just at the end when the final 2 are getting ready. Wonder why they think we need to see that. Let's just see these guys already!
And here we go...

The Voice, Ep. 4.18 & 4.19
Team Adam
Amber
Great song: Adele's James Bond song: "Skyfall". Something very different for her, but she has a big voice, so I think she can handle it.
Right from the start, she actually looks kind of like Adele with her hair like that. As she starts to sing, I can tell it's going to be amazing.
Judith
She is singing a song by Will.i.am and Justin Bieber. I don't even know what to think about this choice. I don't think I'm going to like it, mainly because I haven't liked anything that she has done so far. Another negative is the fact that I've never heard this song before: #Power.
I will say that it is refreshing to hear her attempt something so different from what she has been doing. Wow, I actually kind of like it, I'm shocked. Oh wait...I have heard this song before...duh. And can we talk about her hair again this week? Girl has got a major hair crisis going on. Every week it is completely different and never in a good way. She has a lot of it to work with, but she really needs some help. This week, she is going for the Sanjaya faux-hawk...not cool.
Sarah
This should be very interesting: Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know"...can't wait to see what she does with it. This will be something very different for her.
I'm hooked from the very first line she sings. This is 1000% better than her screaming choice last week. This shows off all of the perfect and cool things that she can do with her voice. This was just about as perfect for her as "The Story".
Team Blake
Danielle
I just love listening to her voice, it's just so pretty! Her vibrato is amazing and so effortless. Really good performance, as usual.
Holly
Another new side for Holly. This time she is doing something very up-tempo. I think it's a The Band Perry song.
Holly looks really good tonight. I really like this performance. I always tend to forget about Holly, but then she sings and I'm always blown away by her range and vocal tone. She killed it! She looked so comfortable and confident on that song. She's proved that she can do a lot of different things very well.
The Swon Brothers
Very nice a capella harmony at the beginning. I like the campfire and stars and moon in the background...very cool. OK, so these guys are really growing on me at an alarming rate. I thought they would be one of the first ones to go, and look at them now...last men standing as 1 act among 7 solo girls! Really great performance. I loved the harmony throughout the song, it was absolutely on-pitch the entire time.
Team Shakira
Sasha
Popular song, but an interesting song choice for her: David Guetta and Usher's "Without You". She changed the song up a little bit from the original. I think she did the right amount of belting it out on the song. She tends to really oversing everything, but she kept it controlled for the most part and didn't go overboard, except for the end.
Team Usher
Michelle
Love the song again this week for her: Bruno Mars' "Grenade". This is going to be amazing!
Wow, she hit some crazy notes at the end...it was really good...again! She never disappoints. Usher could not have been happier with her, he was shouting "Yes! Yes! Yeeessss!"
After hearing everyone perform tonight, I seriously have no idea which 2 are going to be eliminated tomorrow. I usually have some idea, but they all did so incredible tonight, and there were no missteps with song choices like the last 2 weeks. It is literally anyone's game right now.

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 10.3
Who To Watch For In Vegas:
Auditions in L.A.
Alex Kessinger
I love how she interpreted the music. Great song choice to show off her spunky personality. She had a lot of unique moves and it wasn't just your typical contemporary routine.
Sebastian Serra
High energy , but I didn't see a lot of connection to what he was doing to the music, and I didn't see a whole lot of actual choreography or moves. But, I guess it doesn't matter what I think, they sent him straight to Vegas.
Maria Lebedeva and Misha Smagen
Latin ballroom dancers. Both were really good, hot and spicy. The judges loved them both and sent them both straight to Vegas.
Emilio "Millie" Dosal
He went to classes given by Phillip Chbeeb, and Phillip asked him to be part of his crew. They are now actually roommates as well. Phillip saw something in him, and I can see why...he's very talented. He even faked a broken wrist! He hit every beat, it was really cool! He advanced to choreography, and eventually got the "yes" to Vegas.
Makenzie Dustman
Pretty boring because of the music, but she showed a lot of flexibility.
Auditions in Texas
Hayley Erbert
She was really good and really fun to watch. She used the emotion of the song very well.
Donovan Gibbs
Typical b-boy, not really any new, interesting moves. His last move was a fall straight backwards, with one leg up...that looked really hard to do! The coolest thing happened after his audition...they invited his dad down to battle him on stage. His dad looks the same age as him! And his dad was awesome! Wow.
Dannon O'Brien
He was kind theatrical, but he was also very talented.
Shane Garcia
The Lazaro of SYTYCD. He uses dance to mask his stuttering. He is so talented! He does hip-hop and some bone-breaking as well as animation. His movements are so fluid, and he's so intense! I can't take my eyes off him! Not a dry eye in the house!
Daniela Bustillos
Very beautiful dancer with a scary backstory. Her mother moved her family to the US from Venezuela after they were held captive at gunpoint in their home for 2 days without food and water.
Nick Muckelroy
He is so strong and powerful! Ridiculous! And he did a jump into a split! Whoa!
Hampton "The Exorcist" Williams
He awed the crowd last season, but didn't make the finals. His daughter would be a perfect match for the other 4-year-old cutie that "auditioned" earlier!
Honorable Mention:
Nicholas "Slick" Stewart
He's a bone-breaker. Quite possibly the sickest one I've ever seen! His arms dislocate and go 360! Whoa! Seriously...they've had a ton of guys on the show that do this, but I've never seen someone turn their shoulder more than 360 and then their arm and then their hand and then fall on their arms. OUCH! That was uncomfortable to watch!
J Freeze
Cutest 4-year-old "auditioning" for So You Think You Can Dance:
Nigel: Did you know you have to be 18 before you can do anything on the show?
Kid: Yes
Nigel: How old are you?
Kid: 18
Nigel: Are you in high school or college?
Kid: Uh, high school.
Nigel: What are you studying in high school?
Kid: Everything!
Nigel: Are you married?
Kid: NO!!!!!!

The Voice, Ep. 4.18 & 4.19
Team Adam
Judith
She seems to never sing songs that I'm a fan of. And the queen of big out of control hair was at it again. I have no idea what she was going for with that 'do. Vocally, she was on point again, but still not a fan of her style.
Amber
Tough song for many people, but she nailed Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway". She proves yet again that she is more than just a country artist.
Sarah
A very big departure from what we've seen from her. Wow. I have to say, I don't like this as much as I do her rock ballads. This was way to heavy-metal-esque. Way too much screaming.
Team Blake
Holly
Very interesting choice: Blake chooses an old Gospel song "How Great Thou Art". That's definitely a first. She started off very reserved, but by the end she was blasting it out! Wow, so much power and such a clear tone.
The Swon Brothers
They are slowly starting to grow on me. I feel like they are really coming into their own. They were always good, but there's just something more special about the way they have performed in the last couple of weeks. I can't quite put my finger on what's different.
Danielle
I've said it before, and I'll say it every week: this girl is way too talented to be 16. She is so consistent. She never hits a bad note, and she always gives a great, strong performance.
Team Shakira
Sasha
Wow, this song is going to be perfect for her. I love this song: Emeli Sandé's "Next To Me". It was nice to see her do something more upbeat and not just a power ballad.
Kris
It's nice to hear a more upbeat song from him. He sang it really well, but it was a little on the boring and predictable side.
Team Usher
Josiah
Such a tough song to be given: Coldplay's "Clocks". This is just a song that no one but Chris Martin can sing. It just doesn't sound right when anyone else sings it. I think he did about as good of a job as he could with this song. I actually liked it more than I thought I would. It still doesn't compare to the original, though. I liked what he did with the end of the song to make it a little more his own.
Michelle
I love that she's doing another Pink song, and this is such a good one. Great performance! I think she should sing Pink every week. She sings with such emotion, it's crazy!

Round 1: Judges' Picks
Jacoby & Karina - Len helps with the Jive
Doing the splits right off the bat! I love watching his feet! They just crack me up! I think Len's advice of "kick the peanut" helped him! I think he looked a little behind at the beginning of the dance, but I think by the end, he was right on it! Fun as always!
Judges' Scores: 27
Aly & Mark - Bruno helps with the Samba
Aly looks hot tonight! Why is Mark wearing a tail? The song is "Hips Don't Lie" by Shakira, and let me tell you, they were both really shaking those hips like there was no tomorrow. She had so much personality in this one...she's really becoming quite the performer!
Judges' Scores: 28
Kellie & Derek - Len helps with the Quickstep
Another extremely fast and hopping quickstep for Kellie! She's great as always. And they conquered what plagued them the last time: the space between them in hold.
Judges' Scores: 30
Zendaya & Val - Carrie Ann helps with the Samba
Poor Val...Zendaya whacked him in the face in rehearsals and he was bleeding all over. His eye is really bruised and swollen. Maks tweeted that he will need stitches...but AFTER the show. I love that they picked a Juanes song! I think she improved from the last time she did the Samba.
Judges' Scores: 30
Round 2: Cha-Cha Relay
Kellie & Derek-A little slower than I would have liked to see for a Cha-Cha, and not as sharp, but still really good.
Jacoby & Karina-In the transition, Jacoby comes in jumping over Kellie & Derek!
Aly & Mark- The best so far, I think. Her hips are her biggest asset right now.
Zendaya & Val-Really good, lots of quick moves.
The Judges' Rankings:
Honestly, how do you rank these guys? They are all so equally good!
5 pts--Zendaya & Val
4 pts--Kellie & Derek
3 pts--Aly & Mark
2 pts--Jacoby & Karina
Round 3: Supersized Freestyle!
Jacoby & Karina
It's a huge New Orleans Mardi Gras party! They come out marching and chanting, that's pretty cool. Flip after lift, after flip, my goodness! Little kid tap dancers, oh my! Crazy! There was so much going on, that that it kind of took the spotlight away from them.
Judges' Scores: 27
Aly & Mark
Mark: a vertical bar? I think that's called a pole. I love the costumes! Very cool light effects also. Whoa, what a split lift! The poles were really cool! Love it!!!! So unique...definitely a first on the show! Great job Mark! Now THAT'S how you do a freestyle!
Judges' Scores: 30
Kellie & Derek
Now for the performance I can't wait for all season long: Derek's freestyle. I can't wait to see what he has in store for Kellie. I love that they are going by the "power of the dance and not the production". Just beautiful. Definitely not what you think of in terms of the freestyle in the finale, but you can't deny that it was an absolutely stunning dance. It may not have had all the big theatrics, but it wasn't boring and dull or lacking creative movements and HARD choreography like some have done in the past. Incredible!
Judges' Scores: 30
Zendaya & Val
I love that they put in a ton of different dance styles. It shows just how versatile she is. I also like the fact that even though they chose to have background dancers (in this case a bunch of talented kids), that they only had them at the very end so they were able to showcase Zendaya at the beginning.
Judges' Scores: 30
Final Leaderboard
Zendaya & Val: 65
Kellie & Derek: 64
Aly & Mark: 61
Jacoby & Karina: 56
Part 2
Couple Eliminated and placing 4th: Aly & Mark (Wow! I am shocked!!! Absolutely shocked! As much as I love Jacoby, I thought it would be him)
Round 4: Instant Dance
Jacoby & Karina - Salsa
Whoa! Crazy lift/spin! And then those bow-legged shimmies I love so much! And of course, gotta end it with a jump over her head.
Judges' Scores: 30 (Total of 86)
Kellie & Derek - Jive
Absolutely crazy and insane! I just love these 2 to pieces. I want to watch them dance forever! She matches him for every kick, like a true professional.
Judges' Scores: 30 (Total of 94)
Zendaya & Val - Jive
Zendaya is fabulous as always. She too, matches Val step for step like a professional. This is going to be a close one.
Judges' Scores: 30 (Total of 95)

3rd Place: Jacoby & Karina
2nd Place: Zendaya & Val

Judges' Scores: 30 (Total of 95)
The Results:
3rd Place: Jacoby & Karina
2nd Place: Zendaya & Val
WINNER OF SEASON 16: Kellie & Derek!!!!!! Yay! Perfect ending to this wonderful and awesome season!

Celebrity Apprentice, Ep. 13.12: The Finale
Team Penn
We resume with finding out how Penn decides how to make the video less than 60 seconds. They decide to cut out the punchline which was Dennis. They will do the reveal of the trick during their presentation.
It's time for the event. He has Wayne Newton, showgirls, Gilbert Godfried, George Wallace, the Blueman Group, Taylor Hicks, and of course Teller.
The former mayor of Las Vegas brings a check for $250,000!
The presentation with the video and the reveal of the trick was awesome and very well done. What started out as a big bummer, turned out to actually be perfect.
Team Trace
Trace gets Tim Tebow, who is bringing $200,000 with him!
Gary is going to reprise his role as Buddy Holly...oh boy. Trace isn't sure what he's going to get from him...he's a loose cannon. 10 minutes left, and Tebow is stuck in traffic. Trace is calm, but Marilu is freaking out! But wouldn't you know, he makes it just in the nick of time.
Billy Ray Cyrus brought $50,000!
I have to admit, I was a little worried about Trace's video, but it actually turned out really good.
As part of his presentation, Trace performed a song. He then turned it over to Gary...it was just a little scary to say the least. I can't believe he ever played that role.
The Boardroom
Penn: $503,655
Trace: $564,000 (he had $664,000, but $100,000 was late!)
Trump handed out $20,000 to all the players who didn't win any money.
Walgreens decided to give $100,000 to the winner of the best selling ice cream. The winner is Penn and the Magic Swirtle!
And Trump isn't done! He calls Lil' Jon down and he gives his charity $100,000!
And the winner of Celebrity Apprentice is...TRACE ADKINS!

Dear American Idol...
Dear American Idol,
I can remain silent no longer. There's just some things that have to be said. American Idol is in it's 12th season. For 11 years, I've enjoyed the show, as have millions of other people. The past few years, there have been some things that I've lived with, but was still able to enjoy the show. However, this year, things have gone too far. American Idol is no longer my favorite reality singing competition, and right now, it might not even be my second favorite. The ratings dips suggest that others agree with me. The show is turning into the butt of jokes, and fewer and fewer people are taking it seriously. The sad thing is, with just a few changes, the show could easily go back to the great show it once was. But will anyone listen? Or will the show continue down this awful path, causing viewers to jump ship.
Here Are Just 4 Things Wrong With American Idol:
1. The judges are horrible
2. The weekly themes are boring, dated and overdone
3. The mentoring is a joke
4. The show seems rigged

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 10.2
Auditions: Detroit
How fun was it to see Twitch on the judging panel?!
Who to watch for in Vegas:
Jade Zuberi
His specialty: slow motion animation. His classical music choice was awful, but his performance was great.
Amy Yakima
She's a very good contemporary dancer. She's very flexible and dances with a lot of power and emotion. She got a triple standing ovation from the judges.
Morgan "Mo" Williams
I love the James Blunt song choice! He has very long and skinny legs for a guy. They didn't really show much of his dance...it seemed really short. Nigel wanted him to go to choreography, but Mary sent him through to Vegas.
Tyrone Cobham, Jr.
He's a tapper from Toledo, OH. His music choice was awful...hated it! I'm not really a fan of tap dancing, so I didn't find it that great. It's about as good as what we've seen from other tappers on the show.
5 members of the Fame Dance Crew from Detroit auditioned...
These 2 were asked to choreography:
Darryl "Smilez" Harrell
He is one funny dude! He said he was in his momma's stomach crumpin'! As Lil' C would say "It was buuuuck!" That was some good stuff. He unfortunately didn't make it to Vegas.
DeFonte "Prince Charming" Thomas
Another funny dude! Prefers to dance without his shirt and loves o dance for the ladies. He was siiiiick! So much fun.
Honorable Mention:
Will "Sysko" Green
His style is the Legit which comes from Detroit. It looks like B-Boy, Hip-Hop, Crunk, and a bunch of other random styles all rolled into one. It is so high-energy...I don't know how he can breathe after all that. After his audition was done, they talked him into doing a hip roll. This involved Mary sitting on a chair and him doing all kinds of belly shaking and him getting very up close and personal with her. And yes, there was a lot of screaming! He is only invited to choreography, though. Then he was abruptly let go for free-styling during the choreography performance and almost injuring his partner.

American Idol, Ep. 12.37 & 12.38
It's finally here, the Finale. All I have to say is that I'm glad tonight's show is only an hour. I don't know if I could handle 2 hours. I'm sad to say that this entire season has pretty much been a downer for me. I haven't really enjoyed it all that much. Any way, here's how the finale shakes out:
Each girl will sing 3 songs:
#1: Simon Fuller choice
#2: Winning song
#3: Favorite song of the season
Kree
#1 Country version of Sarah McLachlan's "Angel". Pretty, angelic, and...boring. She shows so little emotion on her face when she sings. She hit a couple of weird notes. It could have been a really good performance, but it was just pretty ordinary.
My Score: B+
#2 "All Cried Out". I actually like this song. It started out a bit slow, but it got better. She sang it really well. It's a little too country for my taste, but still pretty good. Not blown away, though.
My Score: A-
#3 "Up to the Mountain" I don't think this was the smartest choice for her. I'm not really sure why this would be her favorite song. Again, she sang it beautifully, but this time she did add a little bit of umph to it, which made it more exciting. Her best performance of the night.
My Score: A
Final thoughts: I think she's fighting an uphill battle. Everyone is assuming Candice will win, so she's coming in as the underdog. She's singing first, so that's another hill she's got to climb. I think they didn't do her any favors with the first 2 song choices either...they were not memorable. They should have leveled the playing field and let her sing last, especially since Candice sang last last week (at least I think she did). I think all of her songs tonight were too similar, and I don't think she was at her best on any of the songs. I honestly don't see how she can win this, unless her country fans pull off some sort of miracle.
Candice
#1 "Chasing Pavements" by Adele. Her low notes, don't sound very good. I don't like the arrangement of this version. Most of it was sung in such a low register, it was just weird. The chorus was good, though. She sang it very safe and didn't really do much with it.
My Score: B+
#2 "I Am Beautiful". This is much stronger than Kree's song. This is more her style than her first song. Vocally, it was beautiful.
My Score: A
#3 "I Who Have Nothing". I think this was a smart choice. This was one of her most talked about performances the last time she sang it. The a capella at the beginning was so haunting. There was so much production behind her on this, and you knew she was going to blow the house down with as much power as she could muster.
My Score: A+
Final Thoughts: I don't see any way she loses this. The judges have praised her from day one and made sure that America knew that. She isn't the most likable person on the show, so I think they went over the top to praise her vocals so that everyone would love her. The show gave her every opportunity to win this, by having her sing last. Of course America will remember that performance, because it was the last performance of the night, and it was loud. I think the produrcers picked better songs for her than Kree as well.

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 10.1
Season 10 begins tonight! Auditions from Los Angeles--here's a recap of who to watch for in Vegas:
Du-Shaunt "Fik-Shun" Stegall
Whoa, lots and lots of crazy animation! Similar to Twitch and Cyrus...just incredible
Malece Miller
Best move? A back walkover, flip right to the ground. Wow.
Paul Karmiryan
Won "So You Think You Can Dance" in Armenia. Whoa, what?! He shouldn't even be allowed to participate. But oh well, he's a very fine Latin Ballroom dancer. He's got a lot of personality.
Elijah Laurant
Freaky guy who wears a tutu around his neck and rolls his eyes backwards. Boy can he jump!
Taylor Ward
She was warming up and dislocated her knee! Holy crap! It actually popped itself back in place and she got out there and danced on it just a couple hours later. She was beautiful, and other than her wrapped knee, you would never know that anything was wrong. Couple that with the fact that she used to be a collegiate softball player who recently gave up her scholarship a few months ago to start dancing. Wow. And after dancing amazingly, they didn't send her to Vegas right away, they sent her to choreography.
Armen "Armen Way" Avetisov
He raps and he ballroom dances. Interesting. He's pretty good. Didn't really see anything outstanding, so it will be interesting to see how he does with other styles.
Honorable Mention...Did Not Make It To Vegas
Eric & Lorenzo Chapman
3 brothers who started a Hip-Hop dance program for kids to keep them out of trouble. They are so creative! It's cool to see them dance with each other and what they can do individually as well as together.

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 16.17 & 16.18
Kellie & Derek - Argentine Tango
I loved the shadowed silhouette at the beginning...very cool. Derek just picks her up and spins her like it's nothing. I loved the lifts. The split spin was perfect. The whole thing was just cool.
Judges' Scores: 30
Kellie & Derek - Flamenco
Love another shirtless Derek performance! You would think he's Latino the way he's making this dance look so easy! The fake mustache helps too. Holy crap! That flip at the end scared the crap out of me! It came out of nowhere and he just flipped her end over end! Wow!
Judges' Scores: 28
Ingo & Kym - Samba
He seemed very rushed through this whole dance, like he was always behind the dance trying to catch up. I think his moves were good and he got the feel of the dance, but it wasn't quite all together. It was a bit too herky-jerky.
Judges' Scores: 24
Ingo & Kym - Charleston
I love when he brings some goofiness to his dances. This was definitely goofy. There were some crazy lifts! He looked a little bit lost at times, but it was so much fun!
Judges' Scores: 27
Mark & Aly - Rumba
I love their song choice: Bruno Mars - "When I Was Your Man". Perfect song to dance the Rumba to. Aly looks beautiful tonight, and she is doing a such a good job with such a romantic dance. It helps that she's a gymnast and she's able to really put a lot of flexibility into it.
Judges' Scores: 30
Mark & Aly - Afro-Jazz
I love the stuffed animal lion. I love the outfits. Those headdresses are crazy! So much energy and power in those movements! This reminds me of one of the dances Shawn Johnson did (I think it might have been the trio with both Derek and Mark). So many fun things to watch! Loved every second of it!
Judges' Scores: 29
Jacoby & Karina - Argentine Tango
Tango: another dance that suits him perfectly. I'm a little surprised that the quick foot hooks aren't as good as I thought they would be. I guess it's because his legs are so long. His hooks tended to look a little loosy-goosy instead of quick and sharp. Other than that, I think he did a really good job.
Judges' Scores: 30
Jacoby & Karina - Lindyhop
There's those crazy Jacoby legs! Look at him go! Ooh and he pulled out the splits again! Whoa, now on the judges' table! I love when it looks like he's just having fun. Holy lifts and flips! This routine definitely have a little bit of everything. Classic fun Jacoby.
Judges' Scores: 29
Zendaya & Val - Quickstep
Holy crap are they flying! No wonder they came out in race cars. I'm convinced there isn't anything she can't dance well and expect a 10 for. Crazy good. Except apparently, the judges don't agree with me. Maybe it was so fast that I couldn't tell that they messed up.
Judges' Scores: 25
Zendaya & Val - Hip-Hop
Love Val as kind of a dork! He was so worried about doing Hip-Hop, but I knew he would be great. I always thought he looked like he would be a natural Hip-Hop dancer. They were so in-sync. Great performance...very cool.
Judges' Scores: 30

The Voice, Ep. 4.16 & 4.17
Team Adam
Sarah
She is singing one of my favorite songs! I think she'll really be able to rock this out, because I think it really suits her voice well. It will let her do all of the things that she loves to do with her voice: falsetto, growl, etc. Really good performance, exactly what I expected.
Judith
Not a fan of this song at all. But then again, I'm not a fan of her style either. Vocally it was amazing, but hard to enjoy just because the song is not one that I like.
Amber
I know Amber's a country singer, but I much prefer her singing pop or country-pop crossover songs. I don't think she sounded her best tonight. Her high notes seemed strained and not quite on pitch. Otherwise, it was still a nice performance.
Team Blake
Holly
I think it was a pretty strong performance, but I think the beginning was a little weak. She really picked it up at the end and hit some crazy, powerful notes.
The Swon Brothers
Oh my, didn't know he could play piano! That's definitely different. It's nice to see them change things up and do a slow ballad with piano and guitar. For being a country song, it was really good. Their harmony was really good as usual.
Danielle
Nice Carrie Underwood song choice. This girl is just amazing. Not much else to say. She is so consistent and just doesn't give a bad performance.
Team Shakira
Garrett
I'm so excited to hear him do such a great Backstreet Boys song! No one sings their songs! I can't wait to hear him make it into a rock song! Very interesting take on the song. He's just got something special. Love him! It probably wasn't his best performance, but I love that he's taking risks and not being ordinary.
Sasha
I love "Alone" by Heart. I think this will be a good song for her. She started out really emotional, it almost sounded like her voice was breaking. I loved the bass, it was a nice touch. Talk about emotional, she's got tears in her eyes. It was almost too emotional for me. Vocally, it was stunning though. Wow.
Kris
I don't normally like singers like Kris, but there's something different about him. I always enjoy listening to him sing. I'm not sure what it is about his voice. He truly has a talent.
Team Usher
Vedo
I'm not a fan of this Michael Jackson song choice. For the first time, he seems to be really sharp. He's not really nailing his notes like he normally does. His high notes at the end were much better.
Josiah
Another great song choice for Josiah: "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" by The Script. I love that he can sing a lot of different things, and still be himself. I am loving his performance, it is so good! I like the kind of stripped down vibe with him just sitting, playing the guitar. I'm a sucker for a guy playing a guitar...gets me every time!
Michelle
I don't know this song, and I don't really like it. She seems to be really out of breath. She didn't seem to have all the technicality of her singing like she usually does. Tonight it seemed more like she was shouting.

Celebrity Apprentice, Ep. 13.11
We're down to the final 4, but it's about to become the final 2. Crazy! These last 4 are all really strong. I think Penn is a no-brainer. I think Trace has lost it, so I don't think he will make the final 2. That leaves Lil' Jon and Lisa. I think with all the money that Lisa has raised so far, I think she has the edge. We'll see...
Boardroom to Determine Final 2
The final 4 make their cases for why they should be in the final 2.
Trump says he's going to fire 1 person from each team. I don't necessarily think that's the most fair thing to do, because I think a case could be made that Penn and Lisa are the stronger of the 4.
On Team Plan B, Trump fires Lisa
On Team Power, Trump fires Trace
The final 2 ends up being 2 big guys with ponytails. Ha!
The Task
Create a new flavor of ice cream and hold an event and a video
Teams
Trump picked the people for each of the teams. Penn gets Lisa, LaToya and Dennis and Trace gets Lil' Jon, Marilu and Gary.
Team Trace
Trace loves red velvet and maple macadamia nut so they went with those. And then Gary went on a sugar rush and started singing about macadamia nuts. When he crashed, Trace said that he put a tranquilizer in Gary's ice cream.
After the taste-test, they choose to go with: Maple Macadamia Nut Mash-Up
For the video, Lil' Jon suggests that Gary do a Busey dance and then in the video it becomes a craze.
Team Penn
They come up with a "Swurtle" which was the combination of a chocolate swirl and pieces of chocolate/caramel turtles. LaToya said "Swurtle" accidentally, and Penn loved it! The other flavor was called "Sin City"
After the taste-test, they choose to go with: Magic Swurtle
For the video, Penn uses Penn and Teller and a bunch of Showgirls. They run into a problem when they can't get the video to less than 60 seconds.

Survivor, Ep. 26.14: The Finale
And then there were 5! Tonight we find out who the sole Survivor is! The previews from Thursday's show hint at an evacuation, and I sure hope that isn't true--unless it is either Dawn or Sherri (not wishing an injury on anyone, but if there is one, I'd rather it be someone who doesn't deserve to win any way).
After Tribal
They make their way back to camp, and Erik is not OK. He was feeling very dizzy and things were spinning. Out of nowhere, Probst shows up. They lay him down and the docs check him out. They think he is malnourished and dehydrated. Eddie is an EMT, so he's telling Erik what's happening to him. His blood pressure is too low and the doc says he's going down fast. He makes the decision to not let him go back to camp, and they pull him from the game. I feel so bad for him! He was so close! Being voted out is one thing, but to have to leave because of medical reasons just sucks! And that will haunt him forever...(and I didn't realize until the Fallen Comrades section, that he left in exactly the same spot as last time he played: 5th).
And then there were 4...and never in a million years would I have imagined that these 4 would be the final 4.
Reward Challenge
Build a house of cards...with one hand...while holding a bar that's balancing the base of the tower of cards. Good luck!
Win the challenge and earn an advantage to the Immunity Challenge (plus food).
Cochran is out early, but his takes a tumble. Dawn and Sherri take the lead, but Sherri's goes down. Eddie is taking it slow and steady. He's making a move on Dawn. Eddie's falls and Dawn's falls with only 1 card needed at the top. Dawn loses her stack as Probst says "Dawn is in the lead". It's all back and forth. Sherri's hands were shaking uncontrollably the whole time. She got so close, and then it all fell down! And it's Cochran! Win #3 for him! He's becoming quite the challenge dominator!
Strategy
Cochran is glad that he won the challenge, so that Dawn and Eddie didn't win it. Sherri talks to Eddie and says she would rather sit next to him and Cochran in a final 3 than with Dawn. She's played the sympathy card with all the crying and talking about her 6 kids, etc.
Dawn is breaking down...again! This time it's a "catatonic breakdown" according to Cochran. She's paranoid and she wants Cochran to "spend 20 minutes reassuring her". Cochran says that she thinks that she deserves a fast pass to the finals for some reason, and he doesn't know why. Me either! I'm so sick of her! He's so tired of it, he's ready to dump her. Oh, if only it were that simple! I really think it doesn't matter who he sits next to in the final because neither fan has a chance, meaning Dawn is the only other person with any kind of shot at winning. At this point, it's not even that great of a shot for her either. If Cochran wins Immunity, I think he is a lock to take it all. BUT, that's only if he doesn't win immunity, or they turn on him and decide to vote him out.
Fallen Comrades
The finale staple...a walk down memory lane, remembering those who have had their torches snuffed. It kind of feels like forever since some of these people have played.
Immunity Challenge
Climb a huge set of stairs and mazes, to retrieve bags of puzzle pieces, then build the puzzle
Cochran's advantage = he doesn't have to untie the bags of puzzle pieces
Cochran has his last bag, as all the rest are only on their 2nd bags. This is a significant advantage. Sherri stumbles in last place. Everyone has their pieces out and he has NO PIECES in place yet?! Come on! Sherri and Dawn start putting pieces in, and Eddie just stands their looking puzzled (like he has for most of the game). Eddie finally gets his first piece, and he grins from ear to ear like it's some big accomplishment. He calls out when he gets another one, and Probst says "and that's...2". And it's Cochran!!! Wow!
Who To Take to the Final 3?
Cochran has a dilemma? He knows he's bringing Sherri, but who deserves to go to the final between Eddie and Dawn. Dawn has been an emotional wreck. Eddie is a cocky young kid. I think he's stupid if he takes Dawn. Dawn has a slight chance of winning. There is no way that Eddie or Sherri wins, so it should be a no-brainer. I think he's stupid if he thinks he has a better chance of beating Dawn than Eddie.
Tribal Council
Eddie's talking a really good game...by belittling himself. He's pointing out just how little he did in the game. Cochran would be stupid to not listen to him.
The Votes
Dawn-1
Eddie-3
As Cochran votes, he says "I think you're the only one who can beat me, so you have to go." Why does Cochran think Eddie is the only person who can beat him? I don't get that AT ALL!!! How is he rationalizing this? Everything Eddie said was true: he made no moves, had no strategy and Dawn will play the sympathy card and cry, and people will fall for it. I really hope Cochran doesn't come to regret this decision.
Not to be mean, but crying and having meltdowns and needing to be consoled and reassured for 39 straight days does not a "Survivor" make. She may have outlasted, but she sure didn't outwit or outplay. Let's hope the jury thinks about that.

Top 12 Results:

America saves: Amber Carrington and Judith Hill
Adam saves: Sarah Simmons
Leaving: Caroline Glaser
Team Blake
America saves: Danielle Bradbery and Holly Tucker
Blake saves: The Swon Brothers
Leaving: Justin Rivers
Team Shakira
America saves: Kris Allen and Sasha Allen
Shakira saves: Garrett Gardner
Leaving: Karina Iglesias
Team Usher
America saves: Vedo and Michelle Chamuel
Usher saves: Josiah Hawley
Leaving: Cathia
Overall, I'm very pleased with the results tonight. I'm a little concerned that Garrett and Josiah were in the bottom 2 of their teams. But I'm so incredibly happy that Shakira and Usher chose to save them! The one surprise of the night is the Swon Brothers. They continue to slip through each round. I count them out every week, but there they are. They did have a very good night last night, though, and Justin didn't seem to have that star power, so I guess it's not that surprising.

American Idol, Ep, 12.35 & 12.36
Each girl will sing 3 songs, chosen by different people: Jimmy Iovine, production and the judges. One thing is for sure: for the most part the songs are going to be good and better than what they would have picked on their own. And let's hope that they are all something from the last 20 years.
Kree
Jimmy Pick: Pink's "Perfect"--Perfect song for her. She sounded really good on this song, and it really suited her voice. She didn't do that much with the song, though. It was kind of flat and even the whole way through...there wasn't anything that exciting to wow anyone. Oh my...Randy almost stole my critique word for word!
My Score: B+
Judges Pick: Rascal Flatts's "Here Comes Goodbye"--I don't know this song, but she's singing it very well. At least with this song it's not so flat and boring. It was beautiful.
My Score: A
Production Pick: The Band Perry's "Better Dig Two"--Definitely a country song that's for sure. Wow, she's doing a really good job. It's pretty obvious she only feels comfortable singing country songs. Not that that's a bad thing, but artists who can do more than one thing are more versatile. She sounds good singing just about anything, but she sings so boring and flat and looks like she'd rather be anywhere else when not singing a country song. I'm kind of surprised the judges didn't really like it...I figured they would love it.
My Score: A-
Candice
Jimmy Pick: U2's "One"--Strange choice. She sounds flat or sharp or something, but not hitting the right notes. Her high, loud notes are very strained. I did not care for that at all.
My Score: C
Judges Pick: Emeli Sande's "Next To Me"--I love this song! This should be a pretty good song for her. That was much better than the first song. She did a really good job with the song.
My Score: A
Production Pick: "Somewhere" from West Side Story--Why oh why, would they pick this for her? This is not something that should be sung on American Idol. Yes Candice, we know you can sing loud. We get it. But can you be likable? Don't think so. I don't think she nailed the last note, but it doesn't matter because it was loud, right?
My Score: A
Angie
Jimmy's Pick: Elton John's "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word"--Oh my gosh I love this song! It's even better when the group Blue performs it with Elton. Her beautiful clear voice sounds so amazing on this song! 100x better than either Candice or Kree!
My Score: A+
Judges Pick: Pink's "Try"--OMG I love this song. Of course she's going to sound amazing on this song! So good! That is all.
My Score: A+
Production Pick: Emeli Sande's "Maybe"--Absolutely beautiful. I've never heard this song, but she performed it like a pro. It was nice to see her at the piano again. She played and sang with such feeling. It was amazing.
My Score: A
After 3 rounds, they basically gave the round win to the person who performed last in that round. The judges and audience would give Candice the win of the night because she performed last and sang it loud. I don't think that's right. Angie was by far the best and most consistent on every single song. She didn't have a bad performance. The judges tried to make excuses for the misses by saying it was the song choice, but hey, everyone had their songs picked for them, and I truly believe that a true performer can make any song sound good. Angie did that.

Survivor, Ep. 26.13
Erik's Downward Spiral
Erik's 70th day of Survivor was a tough one. He is so miserable and hungry. He's acting like he might just give up. He decides to climb like the tallest coconut tree there was. He's going nuts! What I want to know is: why is he so hungry? Andrea won them a bunch of rice and beans. They shouldn't be completely starving.
Family Visit Time
I thought Dawn was going to lose it! Maybe this is just what Erik needed! Maybe this will be like Lisa's visit from her brother last year. It completely rejuvinated her and she had a completely different outlook on the game.
The visits included:
Brenda--her dad (after 26 seasons, Jeff actually cried when Brenda met her dad)
Erik--his brother
Sherri--her husband
Cochran--his mom
Eddie--his dad
The winners: Brenda and her dad
She chooses Dawn and her husband (obviously) to go to the barbecue.
But wait! There's a surprise...a 2nd loved one! Brenda could choose another survivor/loved one pair to coe along or choose to give up her loved one visit AND Dawn's to let all the others get to go to the barbecue. She gave it all up for the others. Wow...that had to be a tough choice to make. Poor Dawn, she thought she was going to get to spend time with her husband, but Brenda just took it all away. But yay for Erik...he gets to eat!
Dawn was understandably upset and frustrated. Brenda tried to talk her out of her meltdown.
Immunity Challenge
They have to hold on to a rope that continually gets longer and lowers them closer and closer to the water.
Cochran is the first in the water. Eddie goes in next. Erik is out and it's down to the 3 women. Yes, Sherri is out!
Brenda and Dawn talk about a deal. Dawn says she doesn't want to be up there 4 hours and she hasn't won one, so she was hoping Brenda would give it to her. Brenda didn't bite. She wants to test herself. How ironic is it that it's down to the 2 who didn't spend time with their families and have a big meal.
Brenda falls and Dawn wins immunity.
Strategy
Cochran would like to go after Brenda. Sherri is thinking the same thing. They think tonight is the night to blindside her because she will never see it coming. Brenda's giving heart might get her sent home because now people think she's too likable. Man, some people are too evil, some people are too nice...how are you supposed to play this game?
Tribal Council
Eddie is so sure that he is going home. He said he's come to terms with it and is just grateful for the experience. Everyone agrees he is the easy vote, and that Brenda is "untouchable" right now.
The Vote
Eddie-2
Eric-1
Brenda-3
Oh no! Why do all the ones I like get voted out? She was pretty hurt. I think after hearing what they had to say, she kind of thought it might be coming. Eddie looked stunned and clueless as usual. I think he must have voted for Erik, because he obviously wasn't aware of what was going on. I always love watching the jury. Malcolm spread out his arms across the players on either side of him as if to say "hold on tight, here we go!"
Yep, when the votes are revealed at the end, it was Eddie who voted for Erik. The votes against Brenda were Dawn, Cochran and Sherri.
I am just so sick of Dawn and Sherri...why can't their names come up as targets? I feel so bad for Brenda. She really trusted Dawn. But she should have known better because whoever gets close to Dawn seems to be getting blindsided.

The Voice, Ep. 4.14
Team Blake
Holly Tucker
She has such a pretty voice, but her personality and her performances are really on the boring side. Nothing exciting going on. Towards the end, her high notes were amazing.
The Swon Brothers
Their first actual full-out country song in the competition. It was actually really good. I've been expecting them to get eliminated at every stage and they are still here. This was by far their best performance, I think.
Justin Rivers
I'm not a country fan, but he can sing. Doesn't hurt that he's pretty good-looking, too.
Danielle Bradbery
I still cannot believe how well she sings for a 16-year-old. She is just amazing.
Team Shakira
Garrett Gardner
This kid can do and sing anything. Very interesting seeing him play the piano this time. "Imagine" is going to be a nice change of pace for him, and I think he can do it amazingly. I am such a fan...love him!
Kris Thomas
I absolutely love this Bruno Mars song. He is going to be amazing. Wow, that was so good! He seemed a little bit more nervous than he normally is, but it was still really good. Those runs and high notes were ridiculous!
Karina Iglesias
I really hate this song, and it's even worse slowed down like this. Did not care for this at all.
Sasha Allen
She has such good control. I like that she's starting the song off very soft and quiet. Because you know she's going to belt it out at the end. It's a nice contrast. That scream was something else. I would say it was a bit much, but I think everyone else is going to think it was perfect.

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 16.15 & 16.16
Zendaya & Val - Foxtrot
Such a strange song choice for a Foxtrot-"Don't Worry, Be Happy". It was a cute dance. Not a lot to it, but it was nice.
Judges' Scores: 28
Zendaya & Val w/ Gleb trio - Salsa
Yay for Gleb! Oh my goodness, too much hotness! They are whipping her around like she's a ragdoll! What a fun Salsa! Amazing choreography. Nothing wrong with that at all...should be 3 10s! She is one lucky girl to be in the middle of that Val and Gleb sandwich.
Judges' Scores: 30
Sean & Peta - Tango
Love the wedding theme, and Sean running out on the wedding at the beginning...clever! Look at that intensity! You go Sean! I don't know why the judges have to be so mean to him! The dance was not "ugly" Len!
Judges' Scores: 21
Sean & Peta w/ Sharna trio - Jazz
What a quirky Jazz number! I don't know if Sean quite knew what to do with those 2 beautiful women! He was a little behind the music again...Carrie Ann is going to yell at him for that. I liked it, but I'm afraid it's not going to be good enough to keep him from the bottom 2, or from even going home.
Judges' Scores: 21
Jacoby & Karina - Viennese Waltz
I don't think there is any dance that he doesn't make look good. He makes everything look so effortless. For a big muscular guy, it shouldn't look so good! His frame is huge! I love how he ripped his shirt open when the song said "man's world"! That was great! It's pretty easy to see where Jacoby gets his wacky personality: his Mom is a hoot!
Judges' Scores: 27
Jacoby & Karina w/ Cheryl trio - Paso Doble
This is going to be nothing short than fierce, powerful and amazing. His outfit alone screams 'a good time is on the way'. Holy crap, that was so good! He's jumping over both girls, he's whipping them around. And then at the end, he surprisingly slides under both girls and ends with a little shimmy and smirk at the camera above him. Hilarious!!
Judges' Scores: 25 (That was a ridiculously low score...what the heck is up with that?)
Ingo & Kym - Foxtrot
It makes me sad to see Ingo struggling so much in rehearsals. I think he pulled it off and did well. Not much you can do with a Foxtrot, but I thought he looked good.
Judges' Scores: 24
Ingo & Kym w/ Lindsay trio - Jive
Look at those pants! He definitely looks like he's having fun. I'm not sure the scores are going to be great though. But good job Ingo!
Judges' Scores: 24
Kellie & Derek - Viennese Waltz
I can't say anything other than that dance was so beautiful. She looked amazing, Derek looked amazing. Gorgeous and emotional. Wow.
Judges' Scores: 28
Kellie & Derek w/ Tristan trio - Paso Doble
So excited to see Tristan! He's the perfect hot addition to this trio. I love Derek's idea about creating a parallel universe. Their first dance was angelic, and this dance Tristan is channeling a demon. Wow...a few seconds in, and it is so amazing! Totally gave me goosebumps! What the heck is Len talking about? So intense in the ballroom right now...Len is losing it!
Judges' Scores: 27 (10s from Carrie Ann and Bruno and a 7 from Len)
Mark & Aly - Argentine Tango
Wow, Aly is on fire tonight! She looks hot! Those lifts were crazy!
Judges' Scores: 29
Mark & Aly w/ Henry trio - Jive
Love me some Henry! So fun! Aly is really proving that she is a real contender in this thing. Her personality is coming through so much more than the first few weeks.
Judges' Scores: 29

The Voice, Ep. 4.13
The Knockout Rounds are over and we are on to the Live Shows.
Team Adam
Amber Carrington
I love her Rihanna song choice, this is such a great song. I'm glad she's not singing a country song. She is killing it! So good! Perfect pitch and such a clean beautiful voice. Those high notes gave me goosebumps! Not one single thing wrong with that performance. What a way to start the show.
Sarah Simmons
Sarah McLachlan's "Angel" is perfect for her...she is so Sarah McLachlan! She is just so good! What a haunting performance...just what this song calls for. So angelic and perfect.
Caroline Glaser
There's something about her voice that just confuses me. I really can't tell if I like it or if I find it annoying. I really don't know. I find her much less annoying without her glasses, strangely. This is probably one of her best performances. I like what she did with the song.
Judith Hill
"Feelin' Good" has been done so many times, but man this girl can sing the crap out of a song. I like the way she changed the song and made it a little different than the version we normally hear. I didn't really care for her stopping so much during the song and how she turned around and looked like she was going to walk off stage. Not necessary.
Team Usher
Josiah Hawley
Oh man, I can't wait to hear him do a Muse song! This should be awesome! I really thought the song might be too big for him, but man did he nail it! One of his best performances, no question.
Cathia
Whitney Houston is some big shoes to fill, but with Usher's great pointers I think she can do it. She made it seem so effortless. She was powerful, but didn't overdo it.
Vedo
I continue to love his voice. Great performance. He was a bit strained on some of the high notes, but he stayed on pitch.
Michelle Chamuel
Her voice is amazing. She continues to amaze me every week because I just don't expect that voice to come out of her. You could tell that she connected very deeply with the song. Usher really helped her this week.

Celebrity Apprentice, Ep. 13.10
The Task
Transform a suite at the Barclays Center promoting Foxwoods Resorts and throw a party in the suite.
Team Plan B
Project Manager: Lisa
Lisa and Penn quickly decided to use the Joker for their theme, and Penn knows a lot of "Jokers" to invite to the party.
Penn starts to line up Lisa Lampanelli, Teller...sounds great right? Huge snowstorm and all flights are cancelled. But they start getting a little slap-happy.
On the day of the party, Teller managed to make it on time, so Lisa didn't have to step in in his place.
They perform a trick with an apple with a hundred pins. Teller takes the pins and swallows them, and then eats part of the apple, and then swallows a string. He then pulls the string out with all of the needles threaded on it! Holy cow!
Next is Lisa Lampanelli. I sure hope she doesn't lose this for them. She is so crass and not classy, I don't think she is the right comedian for this type of event. The only thing that might help them is that she is a regular performer for Foxwoods.
They also had David Burke, who is a signature chef for Foxwoods.
Team Power
Project Manager: Marilu
Each one of them had a different idea for the theme. Lots of time spent on that. They finally decide to go with the King theme.
Marilu and Lil' Jon butt heads as she starts going spastic with ideas. They have 2 totally different ways of working on things. She's actually pretty rude in the way that she talks to both Lil' Jon and Trace. So, they finally started to have some fun with it and they were kind of making fun of her for being so serious. But Marilu started throwing out the insults to Trace: "you're turning into Gary", "you operate one notch above dead"...wow.
John Rich checks in with them to see how things are going. They obviously don't have everything figured out yet. John throws out a great idea: make Lil' Jon a king and put him on a big throne. That's not fair, John!
Trace secures Hunter Hayes. That's great, but just because he won the CMA for Best New Artist, what does he have to do with this task?
The day of the party, there happens to be a chess board and a chess champion who is going to be teaching chess. Trace and Lil' Jon knew nothing about this. I personally don't see how this connects to the King theme.
Lil' Jon had planned to do some DJing, but his people couldn't get his equipment there, so he basically had nothing to do. Hunter showed up to play some music, but this party looked DEAD!
The Boardroom
The win goes to Team Plan B! Lisa has now won over $500,000, wow!
Marilu, you're fired! Good riddance. She was REALLY starting to get on my nerves!
I think we have a really great final 4. Any one of these people could win. Next week's task is going to be crazy because they are both strong teams of 2.

Amazing Race, Ep. 22.11: Season Finale
11th Leg:
Max and Katie lead off the 11th leg, heading to Belfast, Ireland.
Road Block: Bog Snorkling
Yuck! 100-yard lap in under 4 minutes. That looks awful! At least they get a wetsuit. Bates/Anthony are done in no time and are off to find the next clue. Katie was flying through the course, she was amazing! Then her mask fogs up and she couldn't see anything. But, luckily she made it under the 4 minutes.Mona was whimpering the entire time...somehow, she managed to also make it under the 4 minutes.
Then poor Jen was basically stuck in the mud--she was barely moving. She was over 4 minutes, so she had to do it over. She told Caroline she didn't think she could do it, but Caroline kept telling her that they weren't quitting. Her 2nd time, she looked much better, but then she stopped when she was almost there. She kept saying she couldn't breathe. Caroline was doing everything she could to encourage her. Aw, they even said a prayer together, and she then went out on her 3rd attempt. With only a few seconds to spare, she did it!
On their way to the Detour, they were given the wrong directions, and end up somewhere completely wrong.
Detour: Tray It or Spray It
Tray It: Since the Titanic was built in Belfast, they have a Titanic challenge. They have to serve 5 courses that actually served on the Titanic. They have to follow a seating chart and a menu and get the meals correct. Wow, that was confusing! And they had 100 yards, which included many flights of stairs!
Max/Katie almost started off wrong, but quickly figured out what to do. Bates/Anthony didn't figure it out so quickly and they ran the 1st course all the way to table, but it was wrong. Their 2nd try was correct. Mona/Beth made the same mistake, and kept getting it wrong. They were completely clueless!
Max/Katie and Bates/Anthony had a lot of trouble with the 5th course. They couldn't figure out the chartreuse jelly. Bates was getting really angry at Anthony because he kept giving him the wrong thing.
Max/Katie finally get it right and they are the first to finish.
Mona/Beth are still confused. Anthony asks if they are looking at the list of courses and kind of gives them the answer of how to figure it out, and they were still confused. FINALLY, they eventually figure it out.
Spray It: Caroline/Jennifer are the only team to choose this one. At a skate park, they have to copy a picture and graffiti it on the wall. I think most teams would have been better off doing this challenge...who knew the Titanic server thing would be so hard!
Pitstop #11:
#1: Max/Katie
#2: Bates/Anthony
#3: Mona/Beth
#4: ELIMINATED--Caroline/Jennifer
12th and Final Leg:
Max/Katie lead it off...again!
They are on their way to London, and then back home to Washington DC. First stop is the Lincoln Memorial where Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his famous "I have a dream" speech. Then it's off to take a photo with President Barrack Obama. Somehow, I'm thinking it's going to be a cardboard cut-out or something, and NOT actually the President, like they are all thinking. Yep! I was right!
Mona/Beth are lost...again.
Roadblock: Spy Games
There are 50 spies in suits and they have to figure out which one has their next clue by using a secret password. Cool challenge! This could take awhile though.
Bates got his clue and the combination to open the brief case is the order they finished in Indonesia, New Zealand, Vietnam. After a couple tries he got it! They are in the lead...go Bates/Anthony!
Mona/Beth are catching up...how did that happen?!
Max can't find his person. He runs out of agents, so he turns around and heads back. Uh-oh. Finally, he finds his person, but Beth also found hers. They both open the brief case at about the same time, but Max/Katie got a taxi first.
Detour: Play Ball
One person is suspended on a zip line while the other player is dressed like a big ball. The person suspended drops the ball and the other person must catch it.
Bates/Anthony are there first and complete the task before the other 2 teams arrive. Max/Katie arrive and get started, while Mona/Beth can't find where to go in and get their clue. Max/Katie struggle, but as soon as Mona/Beth arrive, Max makes the catch!
Mona/Beth...no surprise are terrible at this.
Go Global
Search through a ton of globes in a big bin with a hi-lighted country. They have to find the countries they visited and put them in the right order. This could take forever!
Anthony was killing it in the pit...he was throwing them out left and right. Finding Bali was giving them some problems. They find it, and they're on their way! Woohoo! This is almost unheard of...no one else is even close! Max/Katie didn't even arrive at the challenge until after Bates/Anthony were done.
Max/Katie decide to switch because he thinks she would be better in the pit. Duh, why wouldn't you start that way?
And coming to the finish line...it's Bates and Anthony! Winners of The Amazing Race Season 22!!!
Pitstop #12 for the win:

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.29 - The Finale
The Final 3: It's Emmett vs Jillian vs Gary, who will take the win?
The Twitter world blew up as the action unfolded live, so as I'm now watching the episode, I already know what happens, and it's CRAZY! Nothing on the US version of the show has ever been so crazy. I'm going to try to keep the rest of the recap short, because I have A LOT to say about how this finale unfolds. Here we go!
Final HOH Competition
The plan: Jillian will win the endurance challenge, Emmett will win the physical challenge, and then face-off in the 3rd round where it won't matter which one wins.
Round 1 Winner: Emmett
Round 2 Winner: Gary
Round 3 Winner: Gary
Wow, that last one was close. Emmett and Gary answered the same every time...except for the LAST one!!! It came down to a question about Suzette, so it's no surprise that Gary got it right, since they were very close.
Final Eviction Ceremony
Gary chooses to evict Emmett!!! That was obviously the right choice for his game. He would have never beat Emmett.
The Final Jury Member is Revealed
I should point out at this point, something that will come into play later. Emmett is revealed to the jury as the last person evicted. They are all shocked. Topaz seems to be the most shocked, but she is also ecstatic because "Gary is still in the house!" She screams this with excitement several times.
Talla tells Emmett he should have kept her, and Andrew says they should have stuck to their East Coast alliance, and none of this would have happened. He said "I feel bad for him, but not that bad."
The Jury Questions The Final 2
It's all fun and games until bitter Peter rears his ugly head. He says "My question is for Villian. I believe that you're an idiot and an awful player, however you have the opportunity to prove me wrong and win my vote by being honest. Tell me without using Emmett or competitions as a crutch, why you are in the final 2." That was so harsh. He needs to build a bridge and get over it.
Overall, Gary had some great answers to their questions. Even though Jillian didn't answer as well, she was really hit hard with some hatred, so it was harder to have good answers. Emmett had the lone tough question for Gary, and it was why he deserved to be there having 2 lives in the game when everyone else had 2, and how he deserved to win over Jillian when she won so many more competitions than he did.
The Final Plea
Jillian and Gary put together some awesome speeches, whoa! They squeezed a lot of stuff into a very short amount of time. I think Gary won in the speech department, it was compelling.
It is at this point, that Arisa tells the jury how they are to vote. Listen up kids, this is important...something big is about to happen. Everyone who has watched the US Big Brother knows: the final vote is FOR who you want to WIN and not who you want to evict. OK, not too hard, right?!
The Votes
AJ--"I believe that someone has made a $100,000...mistake! Integers!"
Alec--"Darkness. Now, I'm not happy the Shyld lost, but I absolutely love how you'll win." (throws up the Shyld sign)
Topaz--as Topaz makes her way to the podium and Alec makes his way back to his seat, they share a small little smooch. Arisa says "Really, really they get an 'awe'?" ha! Topaz: "So, my vote is 150% secure. 150%." (OK, so what does that even mean? I'd like to know how she thought that when she didn't even look at the key she pulled out and put in the box. She couldn't have seen it because she was smiling at the camera when she pushed it in. If you were 150% sure, one would think you would look at it once or twice to be sure.)
Peter--"I came here to prevent injustice. And with this vote that's exactly what I'm doing. To the max, yo! (throws up the Shyld sign)
Andrew--"There was a lot of blood in this game. It's been a great competition, but tonight, I'm voting with my heart.
Talla--"I'm voting for the person who played the opposite of my game." (good plan) "Do you love it now?" (points to bracelet)
Emmett--"You should only truly have one life in the Big Brother game." (nothing for your girl Jillian?)
The Votes Revealed

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.28
Final 2 Deals
Emmett has a final 2 deal with Jillian obviously, but he's also secured a deal with Gary and Talla. Emmett's lies started to catch up to him when he lets it slip to Jillian that he has a final 2 deal with Talla. Talla never said anything to her and Emmett didn't say anything to her. Jillian was pretty upset that Emmett didn't tell her that before. He lies and tries to say that he did tell her, but he knows and she knows that's not true. Now she's starting to worry about her life in the game because Emmett is obviously only playing for himself. She's not sure that she can trust his word at this point in the game.
Veto Competition
Solve equations with events from the season. Oh boy, this is NOT going to be a competition for Talla. This could get ugly. Jillian's feeling pretty good about this competition because math is her thing. Talla knows she's going to struggle because in middle school she thought that 3+4=5. Wow, Talla, I would not admit that out loud. Gary says he also is not great at math and wished that he would have paid more attention in school.
Wow, this really is hard. It comes down to dates and number of days etc. If you're just off by 1 day, you're screwed. Emmett is absolutely flying! The numbers are just jumping out at him. Until he adds instead of subtracts. Then Jillian does the same. They can't find a money bag for that answer, so Jillian goes back and now she's second guessing her first answer. Then Emmett finally sees it and then yells out "it's a minus sign". Poor Jillian, she says "am I the dumbest person in Canada at this very moment." And then she subtracts it wrong! Oh Jillian!
Emmett gets all 3 correct and he's the first one finished! His combination was correct and it opened the safe, so he wins the POV.
Emmett now has a decision to make. He knows he's keeping the nominations the same (there's really no other option). His decision is now who to evict, because he is the sole vote this week. Talla thinks she's safe, Gary thinks he's safe. Gary tells Emmett that Talla is sure she's safe, and Emmett decides that it's better for him to keep Gary and evict Talla because Gary would take him to the final 2, but he thinks Talla would take Jillian.
Damage Control
Emmett knows he will need Talla's vote in the jury house, so he's decided that he's going to talk to her and tell her what's going to happen. He tells her that he and Gary have had an alliance since night 1, and that alliance was way before making his promise to her. She's devastated and she feels betrayed. But, gotta give it to her, she took it better than I thought she would.
Emmett tells Jillian what he did, and Jillian got really upset because she wanted to do the same for Andrew, but Emmett wouldn't let her. She felt awful about having to backstab Andrew and not being able to talk to him before it happened.
Gary tried to convince Emmett that Jillian was talking to Talla to try to get Talla's vote for jury, and that if he wanted to win the game, he was going to have to make Talla feel better. So, his last move to secure Talla's vote was to give her a bracelet that Dan had left behind for him. It seemed to work, because she was very happy. At first she didn't want to accept it, but she did. Emmett really wanted to keep the bracelet because it meant a lot to him that Dan left it for him, but he knew he needed to do it for his game.
Eviction Ceremony
Sad final pleas from Talla and Gary, and then Emmett evicts Talla. She was very sad, but she hugged everyone and cried the whole way out of the house.

American Idol, Ep. 12.33 & 12.34
The songs for this week are (1) Songs of 2013 and (2) The Standards. Yay for doing something current and Boo for the old fashioned crap again! And why would they do the good songs first. We all know the 2013 hits are going to be the best of the night, so why wouldn't you end with those? Doesn't make sense.
Disclaimer: I really can't stand songs like the standards, so I'm probably going to be very harsh on each of their song choices in that category. I find these songs boring and the lyrics are usually just really awful and old fashioned. Forgive me.
Angie
Song #1: I love this song choice for Angie...it's a great song ("Diamonds" by Rihanna). I love that she's doing this song and playing the piano. Beautiful, just beautiful! When she hit the bridge, it was so powerful. She forced it a little too much, but it was still amazing.
My Score: A
Song 2: Hate this song. It's going to be hard to enjoy the performance. So boring. Her vocals are flawless, but let's face it. The song is just stupid.
My Score: A-
Amber
Song #1: Great Pink song choice, love this song! She did a pretty good job with it. She doesn't have a whole lot of life up there as she's singing, so it's kind of hard to connect with her. Could she look any more bored and distracted up there? Geez. The judges make a lot of excuses for her...blah blah blah.
My Score: B+
Song #2: This song is on the top of my most hated list. Ugh! She did some vocal acrobatics in this song, and it sounded really good. Too bad the song is so stupid. So what is wrong with Amber tonight...so emotional. Quite the sour puss. Be professional, you shouldn't need a pep talk from Nicki.
My Score: A-
Candice
Song #1: I love this song! But...I don't care what Candice said about trying to tell the story, it's just weird for a girl to sing "If I was your man". She sounds amazing tonight, even though it's weird for her to be singing about being a man. It's nice to hear her doing a current song and not sing it like it's a song from 40 years ago. It wasn't boring and drab like she usually sings. It was killer!
My Score: A+
Song #2: I don't think I know this song, but boy does it sound boring. Oh, when will it be over. I already have a headache and this is not helping. That felt like the longest song ever. Vocals were nice, but the song is painful.
My Score: B+
Kree
Song #1: Wow, she was amazing on this Carrie Underwood song. It was country, but it was still really good.
My Score: A
Song #2: This song isn't great, but out of all the other standard songs, this one is the best. She did a really good job at making the song not as boring as it could have been.
My Score: A

Since no one was eliminated last week, this week's votes were added to last week's.

Immunity Challenge #1
Cochran goes shirtless! He's growing right before our eyes.
They have to stand on a pyramid, that as you go further up, the harder it is to balance. It looks extremely hot and windy...this is going to be tough. Not only that, but it's on water, so very tough.
Immediately, Probst brings out a temptation: doughnuts. Erik and Eddie both agree to jump off at the same time. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING EDDIE????? He tells Reynold, "I'm going buddy". And Reynold says it's OK. It is so NOT OK. Eddie: you do realize you are in the minority, don't you? If I was Reynold, I would be really mad that he was leaving me to do all the work and basically not even trying.
Cochran goes next for some hot dogs.
Last position on the top of the pyramid, oh boy that platform is TINY! Lots of wobbling going on. Sherri is really shaking. Dawn falls off and it's down to 4. Sherri falls off! Andrea and Brenda looked pretty solid. Reynold did a great job, I can't believe he saved himself. He tried so hard and did the best he could, but it wasn't enough.
Andrea and Brenda talk about a deal, but neither one wants to give up, so they keep going. After 3 hours, they decide to make their own rule: lift your left leg. Brenda falls and Andrea wins. BOOO! She also wins a reward of information about the game.
Strategy
Andrea decides to share the clue with Brenda because she stood so long. The clue was to the hidden immunity idol. Then all of a sudden, ALL of them know the clue and are looking. Before too long , Erik has found the idol. But what does he do??? He immediately hands it over to Andrea. What are you doing Erik? Seriously? Did you learn nothing from the first time you played the game? He didn't even think about it, he just said 'here it is' and handed it right over like it belonged to her.
Andrea thinks it's time for a blindside before it happens to her. She thinks Brenda is a threat because she could win challenges and she hasn't made anyone mad. This is like one of the worst things that could happen: neither Reynold or Eddie won immunity, Andrea won immunity, the 6 found the hidden immunity idol and now they are plotting to get one of the only one of the 6 I actually like! Bad, bad, bad...
Tribal Council #1
Reynold-4
Eddie-2
Sherri-1
Erik-1
Poor Reynold. He gets a "Bye buddy" from Eddie :( And we're down to Unp Amigo.
Andrea vs Brenda
Andrea wants to blindside Brenda or Dawn. Cochran doesn't agree, so he tells Andrea and Brenda that she is coming for both of them. Game on.
Immunity Challenge #2
Go Lone Amigo!
The challenge was to maneuver a coconut over and around posts in the water, then unlock a key at the end by undoing knots. Then they have to build a ladder with rungs that were like a puzzle.
Erik is in the lead, followed by Cochran. Cochran is a beast! After the knots it's Erik, then Andrea, then Eddie then Brenda. Oh boy. I would LOVE to see Eddie take this, but I don't think it will happen.
Time to see if Eddie is any good with puzzles. Andrea and Brenda were in the lead, but Erik is flying through! And Eddie, is falling behind. And it's Erik! Woohoo! At least it wasn't Andrea!
Turning on Andrea
Andrea hints that Eddie is a part of her plan. She wants to be in the finals with him because she thinks he can beat him. Cochran sees that he is not a part of her plan, so he wants her out. Erik believes that Andrea is telling her the truth when she says that she wants to go to the end with him, mainly because he helped her find the hidden immunity idol. When will he learn not to trust the pretty girls?
Tribal Council #2
Cochran says that lots of people have told him they want to go to the end with him, and he's pretty sure they don't all mean it. Then he says that he's probably guilty of saying the same thing. Why would you say that?! Now, no one is going to believe you.
Andrea announces that she has the hidden immunity idol and Malcolm is flabbergasted. Great reaction from Maclolm!
Andrea-3
Brenda-2
Eddie-2
That was a great Tribal! As Andrea's name was read the 2nd time, she shouted "WHAT?" Ha! I don't think anyone has ever been that vocal when the names are being read.
Final thoughts: So, let me get this straight. Erik finds the idol. Erik hands the idol to Andrea, who now has possession of the idol. Andrea is voted out without playing the idol. Soooo...the idol that Erik found is now walking down the ramp and out of the game. Erik just gave away immunity AGAIN!!!!! ERIK! Come on...
